Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はシートの接合方法に関し、さらに詳しくは接着
力が均一かつ安定なシートの接合方法に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
合成樹脂シートあるいは合成ゴムシート等の端部を接合
する方法としては、例えば互いのシートの接合端部を切
欠き、その切欠部をバーナー等の加熱手段を用いて加熱
、溶着させ、重ね合わせて接着する方法や、シートと同
素材あるいは異なる素材の樹脂を溶媒に溶解させた接着
剤で接合する方法がある。前者の方法では火気を用いる
ため過熱を生じたり、シートが局所的に劣化を生ずる問
題があり、また安全性に極度の注意を払う必要がある。
また後者の方法では、溶剤を用いるため作業性に問題が
あり、また均一な接着力を得難いという問題があった。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
本発明者らは、合成樹脂シートあるいは合成ゴムシート
等を接合するに当って、磁性金属と熱溶融性接着剤とか
らなる接合手段を誘導率加熱装置を用いて加熱、溶融さ
せてシートを接着することによって、加熱状態を一定に
して均一かつ安定して接着でき、またシートが局所的に
劣化を生ずることがなく、さらには安全かつ作業性の良
好な接合方法を見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
すなわち、本発明は、シート接合部あるいはシート全面
に磁性金属板接合手段または磁性金属と熱溶融性接着剤
とからなる接合手段を施した後、誘導加熱装置によって
前記接着剤を加熱、溶融してシートを接着することを特
徴とするシートの接合方法を要旨とする。
〔実施例〕
本発明において、接合手段は磁性金属板単独のものと、
磁性金属と熱溶融性接着剤とからなるものがある。前者
の接合手段は熱溶融性シートを接着する場合に用いられ
る。後者の接合手段は、積層体と含浸体の2種類の態様
を採ることができる。
積層体は、磁性金属が板状であり、その磁性金属板の片
面あるいは両面に熱溶融性接着剤を施したものである。
含浸体は、磁性金属が粉末状であり、その金属粉末を熱
溶融性接着剤中に混練または練り込み等によって含浸さ
せたものである。
本発明において用いられる熱溶融性接着剤としては、例
えばエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体、改質アスファルト
、非加硫ブチル、塩素化ポリエチレン、塩化ビニル、ク
ロロスルホン化ポリエチレン、ポリエチレン等が挙げら
れる。
本発明において用いられる磁性金属としては、鉄、銅、
ニッケル、アルミニウム等の金属あるいは合金等を用い
ることができる。
また本発明において用いられる誘導加熱装置は通常のも
のでよく、接合可能なシートとしてはく通常の合成樹脂
シート、例えばエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体、塩素化
ポリエチレン、塩化ビニル等のシート、ポリマー改質ア
スファルト、ゴム化アスファルト等のシートが挙げられ
る。
本発明では、磁性金属と熱溶融性接着剤とからなる接合
手段が積層体の場合には、例えば第1図に示すように実
施できる。この接合方法では、合成樹脂シート1,2の
端部を上下に重ね合わせ、その間に接着剤3と金属板4
と接着剤5を順次積層した積層体6を挟み、シート1の
上方から誘導加熱装置7によって積層体6の接着剤3,
5を加熱、溶融させてシート1.2を接合する。また第
2図には他の実施例が示されており、この実施例では、
シート1の端部上部を切欠した切欠部に、シート2の端
部下部を切欠した切欠部を両シートの上下面が面一とな
るように重ね合わせ、両切大部の間に第1図と同様の積
層体6を挟み、誘導加熱装置7によって積層体6を加熱
、溶融させて両シート1.2を接合する。この実施例で
は2枚のシート1.2の上下面を面一にすることができ
る。
第3図には、2枚のシート1.2を接合すると共にコン
クリートスラブ8にシート1.2を接合する方法が示さ
れている。この場合には、コンクリートスラブ8に前述
した実施例と同様の積層体6を置き、この積層体6の上
面にシート1.2の接合部が位置するようにシート1.
2を置き、前述の実施例と同様にシート1.2を接合す
る。尚、この実施例において、金属板4を釘(図示せず
)によってコンクリートスラブ8に予め固定しておき次
いで接着剤3を塗布した積層体を用いることもできる。
第4図には、接合手段が、磁性金属粉末を熱溶融性接着
剤に含浸させた含浸体である実施例が示されている。こ
の接合方法ではシート1.2の間に全面に亘って含浸体
9を挟み、融着加熱装置7によって含浸体9を加熱、溶
融させて両シート1゜2を接合する。尚、この実施例で
はシート全面に亘って含浸体を形成したものを示したが
、端部のみを接合する場合にも適用できる。
第5図には接合手段が磁性金属板単独である場合の実施
例が示されている。この接合方法では、熱溶融性シー)
10.11の各端部を第2図の実施例と同様に切欠き、
両切大部で磁性金属板12を挾むようにシート10.1
1を重ね合わせる。
次いで同様に誘導加熱装置7によって加熱すると、シー
ト10.11が熱溶融性であるため溶融、接着する。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように、本発明のシートの接合方法によれ
ば、磁性金属板接合手段または磁性金属と熱溶融性接着
剤とからなる接合手段を誘導加熱装置によって加熱溶融
させてシートを接着するので、加熱状態が一定でむらが
ないため接着力が均一で安定したものを得ることができ
、また火気等を用いた場合のようにシートが過熱される
ようなことはないため局部的な劣化を生ずることはない
さらには火気を用いないため火災等の心配がなく安全で
あり、作業も熟練を要することなく簡単に行なうことが
できる等種々の利点を有するものである。

Claims (4)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)シート接合部あるいはシート全面に磁性金属板接
    合手段または磁性金属と熱溶融性接着剤とからなる接合
    手段を施した後、誘導加熱装置によって、前記接着剤を
    加熱、溶融させてシートを接着することを特徴とするシ
    ートの接合方法。
  2. (2)前記磁性金属が板状であり、該金属板の片面ある
    いは両面に前記接着剤を塗布してなる特許請求の範囲第
    1項記載の接合方法。
  3. (3)前記磁性金属が粉末状であり、該金属粉末が前記
    接着剤中に含浸されている特許請求の範囲第1項記載の
    接合方法。
  4. (4)前記磁性金属板接合手段を、熱溶融性シートに施
    してなる特許請求の範囲第1項記載の接合方法。
