Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、熱可塑性樹脂成形物の接合方法に関し、特に
、誘導子を用いて樹脂を溶融することにより接合する方
法妃関する。
〔従来技術〕
従来、熱可塑性樹脂成形物を樹脂の融着によって接合す
る方法としては、加熱金型で押圧する方法、高周波電圧
を印加する電極金型を用いる誘電加熱による方法、超音
波振動金型を用いる超音波ウエルダ法、金型とインパル
スヒータすなわち抵抗線を耐熱絶縁シートで挾んだヒー
タを用いるインパルスヒータ法等が知られている。この
うち、加熱金型で押圧する方法は、接合面の融着や接合
後の冷却に時間が掛ったυ、金型で押圧した面の変形が
甚だしい等の問題があシ、また熱可塑性樹脂成形物が接
合部分の厚さの極めて薄いものに制限されると云う問題
がある。誘電加熱による方法は、熱可塑性樹脂の種類が
制限されると云う問題がある。超音波ウエルダ法は、超
音波ホーンの金型の主として角縁部が当る部分で融着が
生ずるから、平面的な接合には限界があり、平面的な接
合を得ようとすると非能率不経済となるし、また、金型
で押圧し丸面に凹凸が生ずると云う問題もある。インパ
ルスヒータ法は、接合形状が交錯点のない線形模様にほ
に制限されて、インパルスヒータの寿命が短かいと云う
問題がある。
一方、熱可塑性樹脂と金属板との積層から成るラミネー
トチューブ容器の端部シール方法とじて誘導子を用いる
方法が特開昭51・−33166号公報によシ知られて
いる。この方法は、ラミネートチューブ容器を誘導子と
加圧体で押圧すると、ラミネートチューブの金属板が誘
導子によって加熱されて樹脂が溶融し、誘導子の押圧形
状に接合する方法である。この方法においては、被接合
物が熱可塑性樹脂と金属板との積層から成るラミネート
に制限されると云う大きな問題がある。
〔発明の目的〕
本発明は、上述の事情に鑑みてなされたものであシ、特
に、誘導子を用いる方法における被接合物がラミネート
に制御されると云う問題を解消して、熱可塑性樹脂のみ
から成る成形物を簡単に誘導子を用いて接合できるよう
にする方法を提供するものである。
〔発明の構成〕
本発明は、互に接合する熱可塑性樹脂成形物の少くとも
一方の接合面に金属粉の混入した熱可塑性樹脂塗料を予
め塗布し、該熱可塑性樹脂成形物の接合面を圧接させて
接合面の裏面側から誘導子により前記熱可塑性樹脂塗料
中の金属粉を発熱させ、それにより塗料の熱可塑性樹脂
を溶融せしめて接合することを特徴とする熱可塑性(0
1脂成形物の接合方法にあり、この構成によって上記目
的を達成したものである。
〔実施例〕
以下、本発明を図示例に基いて説明する。
第1図及び第2図はそれぞれ本発明の実施例を示す側面
図であシ、1,2は互いに溶着し得る熱可塑樹脂から成
る成形物、3は成形物1,2のUいに接合する面のいず
れか一方も1−<は両方に予め塗布して乾燥した熱可塑
性樹脂塗料の塗布層で、この熱可塑性樹脂塗料は、成形
物1,2の樹脂と互いに溶着し得る樹脂の溶液に鉄粉等
金属粉を混入した組成のものである。4,4′はベーク
ライト、プラスターボード、木、ボーセリン、硝子等の
非磁性材料から成る押圧部材、5は表面が抑圧部利4.
4′におけると同様の非磁性材料によって平滑にされた
誘導子、6は押圧部拐4,4′と同様の非磁性材料から
成る敷板、7はテーブルである。
しかして、本発明の接合方法は、第1図の例にあっては
、テーブル7上で成形物1,2を互いに接合する面がテ
ーブル70面と平行になるように組合せ、その組合せを
上から押圧部材4を介して誘導子5によシ交番磁界を生
ぜしめ乍ら押圧し、それによって誘導子5に近い側の接
合する面に設けた塗布)′V13中の金属粉が誘導加熱
され、したがって塗布層3の樹脂が溶融して、誘導子5
に近い側の接合する面が接着するようになるものである
こ\で、誘導子5と成形物1,2の間に介在させた押圧
部材4は、接着が模様状に特に強く行われるように用い
られるものであり、省略することのできるものである。
また、押圧部材4の押圧凸面部分に薄い金属板層を設け
るようにすると、その金属板層が誘導加熱されて、それ
により成形物1の表面に押圧形状の凹みを与えることも
できる。
但し、その場合は、抑圧部材4に設けた金属板層が加熱
される分だけ塗布層3の対応した形成部分の加熱される
ことが減少するので、その対応した形状部分の接着は他
の部分よりも反対に弱くなる。
テーブル7に近い側の接合する面を接着するのは、成形
物1,2の組合せの天地を逆にして、上記と同様のこと
を繰返せばよい。
次に、第2図の例にあっては、誘導子5の磁界がテーブ
ル7側に漏洩しないようにテーブル7上に置いた敷板6
の上に誘導子5を乗せ、その上に成形物1,2の接合す
る面を合せて組合せたものを接合する面がテーブル面と
平行であるように置き、そして、押圧部材4′で成形物
1,2の組合せを上から誘導子50面に押圧して、誘導
子5に交番磁界を生起させることによシ、第1図の例に
おけると同様に、接合する面に接着を生せしめるもので
ある。この例において、テーブル7が誘導加熱されない
非磁性材料から成るようなものKあっては、敷板6を省
略し得ること勿論である。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明の接合方法によれば、殆んどの熱可塑性樹脂成形
物を、それに金属板層がラミネートされていなくても、
互いに簡単に能率よく接合できると云う優れた効果が得
られる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 互に接合する熱可塑性樹脂成形物の少くとも一方の接合
    面に金属粉の混入した熱可塑性樹脂塗料を予め塗布し、
    該熱可塑性樹脂成形物の接合面を圧接させて接合面の裏
    面側から誘導子によシ前記熱可塑性樹脂塗料中の金属粉
    を発熱させ、それによシ塗料の熱可塑性樹脂を溶融せし
    めて接合することを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂成形物の接
    合方法。
