Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、構造表面用の、特にコンクリート構造表面用
の、防水系に関するものであり、そしてより特に、水を
基にした接着促進性プライマーおよび接着性防水膜を含
む防水系に関するものである。
本発明を要約すれば、水を基にしたラテックスプライマ
ーおよび防水接着性膜を含む防水系である。該プライマ
ーはコンクリートに対する優れた接着性を示し、そして
防水膜による接着に関する優れた表面である。該プライ
マーはブチルアクリレート、スチレンおよびアクリロニ
トリルを含むラテックス乳化液である。
表面上に実質的に水分および水蒸気不透過性である歴青
質組戒物などの膜を生成することにより、表面、特にコ
ンクリートの表面、を密閉することは知られている。（
ここで使用されている「歴青質組戊物」という語は、ア
スファルト、タールまたはピッチを含有している組成物
を称する。「コンクリート」という語は、ポートランド
・セメント・コンクリート並びに他の同様な構造材料を
称する。）歴青質組成物は加熱され軟らかくされた状態
で噴霧適用できる。これらの噴霧適用物質の非常に好適
な代替品は、例えばＷ、Ｒ，ブレース・アンド・カンパ
ニイのビチューセン（Ｂｉｔｕｔｈｅｎｅ）　”’防水
膜の如き防水膜である。そのような膜は典型的には例え
ばプラスチックフィルムの担体シートに接着されている
ゴム処理されたアスファルト接着剤の主要防水層からな
っている。この膜は、アスファルト接着剤層を覆ってい
るシリコーン−コーティングされたクラフト紙からなる
分離シート付きのロールの形で販売されている。コンク
リート表面に対するゴム処理されたアスファルトの接着
はコンクリートにプライマーを適用することによって非
常に容易になされることは知られている。ビチューセン
■の膜に関連のある最近市販されているプライマー類は
、Ｗ、Ｒ，ブレース・アンド・カンパニイの製品である
ビチューセンプライマーＭＰ３０００およびＰ−３１０
０である。これらのプライマー類は、ゴムと有機溶媒中
に溶解された樹脂との混合物である。
有機溶媒より水性担体を基にしたプライマー類の方が望
ましい。作業場所での有機溶媒の存在は、高まりつつあ
る規制検査を受けることとなる。残念なことに、水を基
にしたラテックス組戒物は水中に浸漬した時には原則的
に構造表面としっかり接着しておらず、それらは再乳化
しそしてそれらの望ましい接着性質を失う傾向がある。
ラテックス組成物の他の欠点は、それらが普通は約４０
′Ｆの臨界温度以下で安定性を失う傾向である。さらに
、コンクリートのアルカリ性のために、ラテックス中の
重合体の選択がこれらのアルカリ性条件下で加水分解し
ないものに限定されてしまう。
従って、本発明の目的はコンクリート表面並びに防水膜
中で使用されるゴム処理されたアスファルト接着剤の両
者と高融和性の水を基にしたプライマー組成物を提供す
ることである。
前記の目的は、防水膜ラミネートおよび水を基にしたプ
ライマーを含む本発明の防水系により達成される。好適
な防水膜は、Ｗ、Ｒ−ブレース・アンド・カンバニイの
ビチューセン０の防水膜製品である。これらの膜は、ゴ
ム−改質されたアスファルト（「ゴム処理されたアスフ
ァルト」）感圧性接着剤組成物層に接着された担体シー
ト、好適には配向され交差積層されたポリエチレンシー
ト、からなっている。膜はロールの形で供給され、そし
て垂直または水平の構造表面に容易に適用される。
本発明のプライマー組成物は、コンクリートまたは他の
構造表面にハケ塗り、ロール塗りまたは噴霧できる水を
基にしたアクリル系ラテックス組成物である。プライマ
ー組成物は水相中に分散されている重合体成分からなっ
ており、該重合体成分は大部分のブチルアクリレート（
例えば４０〜１００重量％、好適には７０〜１００重量
％）、並びにスチレン（例えば０〜６０重量％、好適に
は１０〜２５重量％）およびアクリロニトリル（例えば
０−１ｏ重量％、好適には０〜５重量％）からなってい
る。ラテックス乳化液に関して公知の適当な分散剤が使
用される。調合されたプライマーの粘度を室温で５ＯＲ
ＰＭブルックフィールド粘度で１〜１００　ｃ　ｐ　ｓ
の範囲内またはそれより高くなるように予め調合者が決
めることができるが、コンクリート表面およびその上の
接着剤中への最適な浸透は５〜２０ｃｐｓの粘度範囲で
見られた。
特に好適なラテックス組成物は、ＵＣＡＲ（ユニオン・
カーバイド・コーポレーションの商標）ラテックス１２
３である。このラテックスは約１５０ｃｐｓの粘度にお
いて供給されており、従って、それを水の添加により希
望する５〜２０ｃｐｓの範囲まで希釈すべきである。
実施例 ＵＣＡＲラテックス１２３を希釈して５〜２０ｃｐｓの
粘度とし、そしてコンクリートブロック上にハケ塗りし
、そのまま乾燥させた。プラスチック担体シートおよび
ゴム処理されたアスファルト接着剤（ビチューセン３０
００）からなる感圧性防水膜をプライマーに接着させた
。１ケ月後に、プライマーのコンクリートに対する接着
性および膜のプライマーに対する接着性の両者ともに優
れたままであった。
本発明をある種の好適な成分類および態様に関して記し
てきたが、それらに限定されるものではない。特許請求
の範囲内の変更は当接術の専門家には明白であろう。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、ａ、担体シートおよびその上のゴム処理されたアス
    ファルト接着剤からなる防水膜、並びに ｂ、ブチルアクリレート、スチレンおよびアクリロニト
    リルからなる重合体成分の水を基にした乳化液からなる
    、コンクリート構造表面と防水膜との間の接着を促進さ
    せるために適用されるプライマー組成物 からなる、防水膜およびプライマー系。 ２、該重合体成分が４０〜１００重量％のブチルアクリ
    レート、０〜６０重量％のスチレンおよび０〜１０重量
    ％のアクリロニトリルからなる、請求項１に記載の系。 ３、該重合体成分が７０〜１００重量％のブチルアクリ
    レート、１０〜２５重量％のスチレンおよび０〜５重量
    ％のアクリロニトリルからなる、請求項１に記載の系。 ４、プライマー組成物が約１〜１００ｃｐｓの粘度を有
    する、請求項１に記載の系。 ５、プライマー組成物が約１〜１００ｃｐｓの粘度を有
    する、請求項２に記載の系。 ６、プライマー組成物が約５〜２０ｃｐｓの粘度を有す
    る、請求項２記載の系。 ７、プライマー組成物が約５〜２０ｃｐｓの粘度を有す
    る、請求項３に記載の系。 ８、表面上に配置されているプライマーおよび該プライ
    マーに接着している接着性防水膜からなっている防水処
    理されたコンクリート表面であり、ここで該プライマー
    がブチルアクリレート、スチレンおよびアクリロニトリ
    ルからなる重合体成分の水を基にした乳化液からなって
    いる、防水処理されたコンクリート表面。 ９、該プライマーが７０〜１００重量％のブチルアクリ
    レート、１０〜２５重量％のスチレンおよび０〜５重量
    ％のアクリロニトリルからなる、請求項８に記載の防水
    処理された壁。 １０、ａ、壁にブチルアクリレート、スチレンおよびア
    クリロニトリルからなる重合体成分の水を基にした乳化
    液からなるプライマー組成物を適用し、 ｂ、該プライマーをそのまま乾燥させ、そして ｃ、壁およびプライマー全体に接着性防水膜を適用する ことからなる、コンクリート壁の防水方法。 １１、該重合体成分が７０〜１００重量％のブチルアク
    リレート、１０〜２５重量％のスチレンおよび０〜５重
    量％のアクリロニトリルからなる、請求項１０に記載の
