Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 左右後輪に連結され該後輪に操舵力を伝達
    するロツドと、このロツドに歯車機構を介して連
    結され且つ駆動信号に応じたトルクを発生する電
    動モータと、この電動モータに指令値に応じた駆
    動信号を供給するモータ駆動部と、このモータ駆
    動部に車両状況に基づく指令値を与える後輪操舵
    制御部と、前記駆動信号が消失したときに前記ロ
    ツドの操舵位置を中立位置に戻すスプリンク機構
    とを備えた電動四輪操舵装置において、 前記モータ駆動部及び後輪操舵制御部の内の少
    なくも一方の異常状態を検出する異常検出手段と
    、この異常検出手段が異常状態を検出したときに
    前記駆動信号を消失させる駆動停止手段と、前記
    異常検出手段が異常状態を検出したときに、前記
    ロツドが前記スプリング機構に付勢されて中立位
    置に戻る戻り速度を制限する戻り速度制限手段と
    、この戻り速度制限手段により戻り速度が制限さ
    れながら中立位置まで戻つたロツドの位置を固定
    するロツク手段とを備えたことを特徴とする電動
    四輪操舵装置。 (2) 前記戻り速度制限手段は、前記ロツドに押
    し当てられるピストンを有し、このピストンの押
    圧面と前記ロツドの当該ピストンにより押圧され
    る外周面との内、少なくとも何れか一方に高摩擦
    係数のライニング材を張りつけた構造である請求
    項(1)記載の電動四輪操舵装置。
