Description
物の窓ガラス等に用いられる合わせガラスにかかわる。
ール系樹脂が最も一般的に用いられてきた。ポリビニル
ブチラール系樹脂が熱可塑性相H)であるために以下の
問題点を有していた。
りガラス板がずれたり気泡の発生が認めらゎ(2)水分
の影響を受は易いために、高湿度雰囲気下に長期間に亘
り放置しておくと周辺部から次第に白色化すると共にガ
ラスとの接着力の低下が認められ、又(3)耐衝撃破壊
性能が温度に依在し、特に室温を超えた温度領域即ち約
30C以上では耐貫通性能が急激に低下するのが認めら
れる等の欠陥を有している。
するために本発明者らはエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体
に有機過酸化物を配合した熱硬化性樹脂をガラス板間に
介在させて一体化し、熱硬化性樹脂層を熱硬化させる合
わせガラスを提案してきた。(たとえば、特開昭57−
196747 )しかしながら合わせガラスの大きな目
的の1つである安全性を考えた場合、耐衝撃性、耐貫通
性は本発明者らの過去の発明をもってしても広い条件に
わたって充分とはいえなかった。
性、耐貫通性を改良し、外力の作用によって破損した場
合にも安全な合わせガラスを提供することにある。
レン−酢酸ビニル共重合体に対し′て炭化水素樹脂を1
〜100重量部、有機過酸化物を0.1〜5重量部それ
ぞれ添加して熱硬化させることで、合わせガラスの耐衝
撃性、耐貫通性を改良できることを見いだし、本発明に
至ったものである。
脂系のいずれでも差し支えない。天然樹脂系ではロジン
、ロジン誘導体、テルペン系樹脂が好適に用いられる。

とができる。テルペン系樹脂ではα−ピネン、β−ピネ
ンなどのテルペン樹脂のほか、テルペンフェノール樹脂
を用いることができる。また、その他の天然樹脂として
ダンマル、コーパル、シュラツクを用いても差し支えな
い。
キシレン系樹脂が好適に用いられる。石油系樹脂では脂
肪族系石油樹脂、芳香族系石油樹脂、脂環族系石油樹脂
、共重合系石油樹脂、水素化石油樹脂、純モノマー系石
油樹脂、クマロンインデン樹脂を用いることができる。
ェノール樹脂を用いることができる。キシレン系樹脂で
はキシレン樹脂、変性キシレン樹脂を用いることができ
る。
に対して添加される量は1〜100!!量部であり、好
ましくは2〜80重量部である。
素樹脂を用いることができ、重量平均分子量200〜1
0000のものを用いるとさらに好ましい。
酸ビニル含有率は10〜50u量%であり好ましくは1
5〜40重量%である。酢酸ビニル含有率が10重量%
以下であると高温で架橋硬化させる場合に透明度が充分
でなく、一方50重量%以上であると合わせガラスにし
た場合の耐衝撃性、耐貫通性が良好でなくなる。
酸ビニル共重合体の硬化剤として使用される有機過酸化
物としては、100”C以上の温度で分解してラジカル
を生ずるものであればいずれも使用可能であるが、配合
時の安定性を考慮に入れれば、半減期10時間の分解温
度が70’c以上のものが好ましく、例えば2.5−ジ
メチルヘキサン−2,5−シバイドロバ−オキサイド、
2.5−ジメチル−2,5−ジ(t−ブチルパーオキシ
)ヘキサン−3、ジ−t−ブチルパーオキサイド、tブ
チルクミルパーオキサイド、2,5−ジメチルー2.5
−ジ(t−ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサン、ジクミルパー
オキサイド、α、α′−ビス(t−ブチルパーオキシイ
ソプロビル)ベンゼン、n−ブチル−4,4−ビス(t
−ブチルパーオキシ)バレレート、2.2−ビス(t−
ブチルパーオキシ)ブタン、■、1−ビス(t−ブチル
パーオキシ)シクロヘキサン、■、1−ビス(t−ブチ
ルパーオキシ) 3,3.5−)リメチルシクロヘキサ
ン、t−ブチルパーオキシベンズエート、ベンゾイルパ
ーオキサイド等を挙げることができる。有機過酸化物と
しては、これらの内の少なくとも1種が選択され、その
配合量はエチレン−酢酸ビニル重合体100重量部に対
して5重量部又はそれ以下で充分である。

有化合物、メタクリロキシ基含有化合物、アリール基含
有化合物を添加することができる。この目的に供される
化合物としてはアクリル酸またはメタクリル酸誘導体た

リル基、アミノエチル基、2−ヒドロキシエチル基、3

プロピル基等を挙げることができる。更に、エチレング
リコール、トリエチレングリコール、ポリエチレングリ
コール等の多官能アルコールとのエステルも同様に用い
ることができる。

シ)シラン、T−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシ
シラン、β−(3,4−エトキシシクロヘキシル)エチ
ル−トリメトキシシラン、γ−グリシドキシプロビルト
リメトキシシラン、ビニルトリアセトキシシラン、γ−
メルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ−アミノプ
ロピルトリエトキシシラン、N−β−(アミノエチル)
−γ−ア旦ノプロピルトリメトキシシラン等を挙げるこ
とができる。

全な合わせガラスを提供することができる。

トを作製し、予め洗浄乾燥しておいた2枚の3mm厚さ
のフロートガラス間に樹脂シートをはさみ、ゴム袋に入
れて真空脱気し、80℃の温度で予備圧着する。その後
、この予備圧着合わせガラスをオーブン中に入れ130
℃の条件下で30分間処理した。得られた合わせガラス
はいずれも透明度が高く光学的にもゆがみのないもので
あった。
準拠してピョソトハソク試験を行なった結果、落下高さ
120cmにおいて供試体4枚とも亀裂が認められなか
−た。
用いて行なったところヘイズ値は0.8″iあった。結
果を表1にまとめて示す。
例1〕と同様に実施した。ショノトハノ’)試験におい
て俳試体4枚とも9L裂が認められな力った。またヘイ
ズイ直は0.9であった。
実施〜した。ショソトハソグ試験におして共試体4枚の
亀裂開口部の平均長さは60mmマあった。またヘイズ
値は0.6であった。
ガラスやサイドガラス、建築物の窓ガラス等に用いられ
た場合に耐衝撃性、耐貫通性に優れ、外力の作用によっ
て破損した場合にも安全な合わせガラスを提供すること
ができる。
チレン−酢酸ビニル樹脂に関する商標であり、酢酸ビニ
ル含有率は26重量%である。
の脂環族系炭化水素樹脂に関する商標であり、重量平均
分子量700である。
Claims (6)
- (1)エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体に炭化水素樹脂と
有機過酸化物を配合した熱硬化性樹脂をガラス板間に介
在させて一体化し、この樹脂層を熱硬化してなることを
特徴とする合わせガラス。 - (2)特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の合わせガラスにお
いて炭化水素樹脂と有機過酸化物の添加量がエチレン−
酢酸ビニル共重合体に対してそれぞれ1〜100重量部
および0.1〜5重量部であることを特徴とする合わせ
ガラス。 - (3)特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の合わせガラスにお
いて炭化水素樹脂の重量平均分子量が200〜5000
0であることを特徴とする合わせガラス。 - (4)特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の合わせガラスにお
いてエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体の酢酸ビニル含有率
が10〜50重量%であることを特徴とする合わせガラ
ス。 - (5)特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の合わせガラスにお
いてアクリロキシ基含有化合物、メタクリロキシ基含有
化合物、アリール基含有化合物のうち少なくとも1つが
エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体に対して50重量部以下
の量において硬化助剤として添加されていることを特徴
とする合わせガラス。 - (6)特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の合わせガラスにお
いてシランカップリング剤がエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重
合体に対して5重量部以下の量においてガラスとの接着
力向上剤として添加されていることを特徴とする合わせ
ガラス。
