Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （産業上の利用分野〕 この発明は、多心光ファイバケーブルの接続箱に関する
ものである。
〔従来の技術〕
多心光ファイバケーブルの分岐、引込、接続等を行なう
場合、光ファイバの接続部の余長を収納するために、接
続箱が使用されている。
従来の接続箱は、第５図に示すように、多数枚の収納ト
レイ１から成り、これらの収納トレイ１は棚板を多段に
設けたトレイガイド２によって引出し自在に積み重ねら
れている。
このような接続箱を使用して、多心光ファイバケーブル
Ａ、Ａ’を接続する場合には、まず、接続する二本の多
心光ファイバケーブルＡ、Ａ’のケーブル外被相互を連
結板３の両端の把持金具４に固定した後、下段の収納ト
レイ１を引出し、この収納トレイ１内に光ファイバ心＆
？ｌａを導入して光ファイバ心線相互をコネクター５に
よって接続し、次いで光ファイバ心線ａの接続余長部す
をループ状に巻いて収納トレイ１内に収納し、この収納
作業が終了すると、収納トレイ１をトレイガイド２内へ
戻し、その後、上段の収納トレイ１を引出して上記と同
様にして他の光ファイバ心線ａを順次接続するようにし
ている。
（発明が解決しようとする問題点〕 ところが、上記のように、収納トレイ１をトレイガイド
２から引出し、この引出した状態で光ファイバ心線ａを
接続して余長部すをループ状にして収納トレイ１内に収
納した後、収納トレイ１をトレイガイド２の元の位置に
戻した場合、多心光ファイバケーブルＡのケーブル外被
を固定する把持金具４と収納トレイ１との間の光ファイ
バ心線ａの収納余長部Ｃがたるみ、この収納余長部Ｃが
第６図に示すように曲率半径の小さな円弧を招くことに
なる。
このように、光ファイバ心線に曲率半径の小さな円弧状
の部分ができると、光ファイバケーブルの伝送特性に悪
影響を与えるという問題が生ずる。
また、上記従来の接続箱の場合、収納トレイをトレイガ
イドの元の位置に押込んだ後は、収納トレイ内に収納し
た光ファイバ心線の余長部の状況を確認できないという
問題がある。
そこで、この発明は、上記のような問題点を解決した多
心光ファイバケーブルの接続箱を提供しようとするもの
である。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
上記の問題点を解決するために、この発明は、光ファイ
バ心線の接続余長部を収納する収納トレイを多段に複数
枚積み重ねてなる多心光ファイバケーブルの接続箱にお
いて、各収納トレイの両端板の一端側に光ファイバ心線
の導入部を設け、この導入部側の収納トレイの側板の上
下縁に沿って上部軸受と下部軸受とを設け、各収納トレ
イを積重ねた状態において下段の収納トレイの上部軸受
と上段の収納トレイの下部軸受とにヒンジピンを抜き挿
し自在に挿通して下段の収納トレイと上段の収納トレイ
を互いに回動自在に連結したのである。
〔作用〕
上記のように構成された接続箱は、各収納トレイが互い
に回動自在に連結されているため、任意の収納トレイを
開いて光ファイバ心線の接続作業や接続状況の確認を行
なうことができる。
また、各収納トレイは、光ファイバ心線の導入部を設け
た側の側板を中心に回転するため、収納トレイの回転に
よる光ファイバ心線の長さ変動が少ない。このため、接
続作業終了後に、上方の収納トレイを回転させて元の位
置に戻しても光ファイバ心線にたるみが生じず、光ファ
イバ心線に曲率半径の小さい円弧状の部分が形成されな
い。
また、ヒンジピンを挿し込むことにより、上下の収納ト
レイを回転自在に連結することができ、ヒンジピンを抜
き取ることにより、連結した収納トレイを個別に取外す
ことができる。
〔実施例〕
以下、この発明の実施例を第１図乃至第４図に基づいて
説明する。
この発明の接続箱１０は、多数枚の同形状の収納トレイ
１１から成る。
上記収納トレイ１１は、対向する側板１２．１２′と、
この側板１２．１２′の両端に設けられた円弧状の端板
１３．１３′とを有し、上記端板１３．１３′の一端側
には光ファイバ心線の導入部１４が形成されている。
上記導入部１４が形成された側の側板１２の外面には、
両側左右にそれぞれ上部軸受１５と下部軸受１６が形成
されている。この上部軸受１５は側板１２の上端縁に沿
って設けられ、下部軸受１６は側板１２の下端縁に沿っ
て設けられる。各収納トレイ１１を積み重ねた場合、下
段の収納トレイ１１の上部軸受１５と上段の収納トレイ
１１の下部軸受１６は一列に並んで、上部軸受１５の軸
孔１７と下部軸受１６の軸孔１８とが連通ずるようにな
っており、この上部軸受１５の軸孔１７と下部軸受１６
の軸孔１８にヒンジピン１Ｓを挿通することにより上段
の収納トレイ１１と下段の収納トレイ１１とを互いに回
動自在に連結することができる。
上記軸受１５と下部軸受１６とを形成した側の側板１２
の外面には、上段の収納トレイ１１を回転させて開いた
場合に、回転の収納トレイ１１の開き角度を第３図に示
すように１００度以上に保つストッパ２０が突設されて
いる。
また、各収納トレイ１１の一方の側板１２′の外面には
、連動用突起２１が突設され、この運動用突起２１の固
定バンド２２を嵌めることによって上下の収納トレイ１
１を固定することができるようになっている。
なお、収納トレイ１１内には、曲率ガイド２３及びコネ
クター保持部２４が形成されている。
次に、上記のように構成された接続箱の使用例について
説明する。
まず、−枚の収納トレイ１１を連結板３にネジ等によっ
て固定し、接続する二本の多心光ファイバケーブルＡ、
Ａ’のケーブル外被相互を連結板３の両端の把持金具４
に固定する。
次いで、収納トレイ１１の導入部１４から光ファイバ心
線ａを収納トレイ１１内に導入して光ファイバ心線ａ相
互をコネクター５によって接続した後、コネクター５を
コネクター保持部２４に固定する この後、光ファイバ心線ａの接続余長部をループ状に巻
いて収納トレイ１１内に収納する。
このようにして、最下段の収納トレイ１１の収納作業が
終了すると、次に、この最下段の収納トレイ１１の上に
さらに一枚の収納トレイ１１を積み重ね、下段の収納ト
レイ１１の上部軸受１５と上段の収納トレイ１１の下部
軸受１６とを合わせてこれらの軸孔１７．１８にヒンジ
ピン１９を挿通し、上下の収納トレイ１１を互いに回動
自在に連結する。
この後、重ねた上段の収納トレイ１１に、同様に光ファ
イバ心線ａの接続部及び余長部を収納する。
このようにして、収納トレイ１１を順次積み重ねながら
、光ファイバ心線ａを接続していく。実施例では、収納
トレイ１１を５段積み重ねているが、積み重ね段数は自
由である。
光ファイバ心線ａの接続作業が終了すると、最後に、各
収納トレイ１１に設けられた連動用突起２１相互を固定
バンド２２によって係合して、各収納トレイ１１を連結
板３に固定する。
以上のようにして、光ファイバ心線ａの接続作業が完成
した後に、任意の収納トレイ１１内で光ファイバ心線ａ
の接続部を再調整したり、又は−定期間経過後に任意の
光ファイバ心線ａを修理する場合は、その修理等を行う
光ファイバ心線ａが収納されている収納トレイ１１の上
段にある全ての収納トレイ１１を回転させて開くことに
よって、容易に作業を行うことができる。この際、収納
トレイ１１を回転させても、光ファイバ心＆１ａの収納
余長部Ｃの長さはほとんど変化しないので、作業終了後
に、収納トレイ１１を元に戻しても、光ファイバ心線ａ
にたるみが発生しない。
〔発明の効果〕
以上のように、この発明によれば、接続箱の収納トレイ
を何段にも容易に積み重ねることができる。
また、積み重ねた収納トレイは互いに回動自在に連結さ
れるので、接続終了後に、任意の収納トレイを開いて接
続部の再調整や修理を行うことができる。
さらに、収納トレイを回転させても収納した光ファイバ
心線の余長部の長さの変化が少ないので、光ファイバ心
線のたるみが発生せず、光ファイバ心線に曲率半径の小
さい円弧が形成されず、伝送特性に悪影響を与えないと
いった効果を奏する。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）光ファイバ心線の接続余長部を収納する収納トレ
    イを多段に複数枚積み重ねてなる光ファイバケーブルの
    接続箱において、各収納トレイの両端板の一端側に光フ
    ァイバ心線の導入部を設け、この導入部側の収納トレイ
    の側板の上下縁に添って上部軸受と下部軸受とを設け、
    各収納トレイを積重ねた状態において下段の収納トレイ
    の上部軸受と上段の収納トレイの下部軸受とにヒンジピ
    ンを抜き挿し自在に挿通して下段の収納トレイと上段の
    収納トレイを互いに回動自在に連結したことを特徴とす
    る多心光ファイバケーブルの接続箱。
