Description
(a)JIS K7161-1:2014に準拠して測定される引張弾性率が200MPa以下であるアクリルポリマーと、
(b)25℃で固形の樹脂と、
(c)前記(a)成分及び前記(b)成分の少なくとも1つと架橋可能な、25℃で液状の樹脂と、
(d)重合開始剤と、
を含む樹脂組成物であって、前記(a)成分、前記(b)成分及び前記(c)成分の総量100重量部に対して、前記(a)成分の含有量が35重量部以上93重量部以下であり、前記(b)成分の含有量が3重量部以上60重量部以下であり、前記(c)成分の含有量が1重量部以上25重量部以下である、樹脂組成物が提供される。
平滑面を備えた銅箔と、
前記平滑面に設けられる前記樹脂組成物と、
を備えた樹脂付銅箔が提供される。
ガラス基板と、
前記ガラス基板の少なくとも一方の面に設けられる、前記樹脂組成物と、
を備えた複合材料が提供される。
本発明の樹脂組成物は、アクリルポリマー(以下(a)成分という)と、25℃で固形の樹脂(以下(b)成分という)と、25℃で液状の樹脂(以下(c)成分という)と、重合開始剤(以下(d)成分という)とを含む。(a)成分は、JIS K7161-1に準拠して測定される引張弾性率が200MPa以下のアクリルポリマーである。(c)成分は(a)成分及び(b)成分の少なくとも1つと架橋可能な、25℃で液状の樹脂である。(a)成分、(b)成分及び(c)成分の総量100重量部に対して、(a)成分の含有量は35重量部以上93重量部以下である。また、(b)成分の含有量は3重量部以上60重量部以下であり、(c)成分の含有量は1重量部以上25重量部以下である。このように、(a)所定のアクリルポリマー、(b)25℃で固形の樹脂、(c)25℃で液状の樹脂及び(d)重合開始剤を所定の配合比で含む樹脂組成物を、ガラス基板に樹脂層として貼り付けた場合に、ガラス基板に発生する反りを低減でき、しかも優れた透明性、ガラス基板や銅箔との優れた密着性、及び優れた加工性をも呈する。
(a)成分は引張弾性率が200MPa以下であるアクリルポリマーである。引張弾性率はJIS K7161-1:2014に準拠して測定される。(a)成分は、樹脂組成物の柔軟性の向上、ガラス基板と貼り合わせた際の反りの低減、及び剥離強度の向上に寄与する。
(b)成分は常温(具体的には25℃)で固形の樹脂である。(b)成分は、(a)成分とは異なる化合物であり、樹脂組成物の粘着性を低下させて樹脂層が過度に粘着性を呈するのを防止し、樹脂組成物に優れた加工性をもたらす。例えば、樹脂付銅箔とした際に、過度な粘着による樹脂層/銅箔間のブロッキングが無くロール・トゥ・ロールで巻き取りがしやすくなる。25℃で固形の樹脂は、JIS K 7095:2012に準拠してDMAにより測定されるガラス転移温度Tgが、25℃以上であれば特に限定はされないが、典型的には30℃以上、より典型的には40℃以上である。ガラス転移温度Tgの上限も特に限定されないが、好ましくは150℃以下、より好ましくは100℃以下、さらに好ましくは80℃以下である。
(c)成分は常温(具体的には25℃)で液状の樹脂である。(c)成分は、(a)成分及び(b)成分の少なくとも1つと架橋可能な化合物であり、典型的にはモノマー又はオリゴマーである。(c)成分は、樹脂組成物のガラス基材や銅箔に対する接着力(密着性)を向上させ、剥離強度の向上に寄与する。(c)成分は、(a)成分とは異なる化合物であり、かつ、25℃で液状の樹脂であれば特に限定されない。25℃で液状の樹脂は、JIS K 7095:2012に準拠してDMAにより測定されるガラス転移温度Tgが25℃未満であれば特に限定されないが、好ましくは20℃以下、より好ましくは10℃以下、さらに好ましくは0℃以下である。ガラス転移温度Tgの下限値は特に限定されないが、典型的には-100℃以上、より典型的には-70℃以上である。
(d)成分は重合開始剤であり、(a)成分、(b)成分及び(c)成分を含む樹脂成分の架橋促進に寄与する。重合開始剤は、上記樹脂成分の架橋に寄与するものであれば特に限定されない。また、(c)成分の(d)成分に対する重量比c/dは、50以上5000以下が好ましく、より好ましくは100以上4000以下、さらに好ましくは500以上3000以下、特に好ましくは700以上1500以下、最も好ましくは800以上1200以下である。
本発明の樹脂組成物は樹脂付銅箔の樹脂として用いられるのが好ましい。予め樹脂付銅箔の形態とすることで、樹脂層を別途形成することなく、ディスプレイやカラーフィルタ等の部材の製造を効率良く行うことができる。すなわち、本発明の好ましい態様によれば、平滑面を備えた銅箔と、平滑面に設けられる樹脂組成物とを備えた樹脂付銅箔が提供される。典型的には、樹脂組成物は樹脂層の形態であって、樹脂組成物を、銅箔に乾燥後の樹脂層の厚さが所定の値となるようにグラビアコート方式を用いて塗工し乾燥させ、樹脂付銅箔を得る。この塗工の方式については任意であるが、グラビアコート方式の他、ダイコート方式、ナイフコート方式等を採用することができる。その他、ドクターブレードやバーコータ等を使用して塗工することも可能である。
(1)樹脂ワニスの調製
まず、樹脂ワニス用原料成分として、以下に示される(a)成分~(d)成分を用意した。また、比較のため、(a’)成分として、(a)成分の要件を満たさないアクリルポリマーも用意した。
‐(a)成分(アクリルポリマー):カルボキシル基を有するエチレンアクリルゴム(デュポン株式会社製、Vamac(R)、品番:HT-OR)(JIS K7161-1:2014に準拠して測定される引張弾性率:3.5MPa)
‐(a’)成分(アクリルポリマー):アクリル系ブロック重合体(株式会社クラレ製、製品名:クラリティ(R)、品番:LA4285)(JIS K7161-1:2014に準拠して測定される引張弾性率:380MPa)
‐(b)成分(25℃で固形の樹脂):カルボキシル基を有するアクリル樹脂(東亞合成株式会社製、ARUFON(R)、品番:UC-3900)
‐(c)成分(25℃で液状の樹脂):液状脂環式エポキシ樹脂(株式会社ダイセル有機合成カンパニー製、セロキサイド、品番:2021P)
‐(d)成分(重合開始剤):ラジカル重合開始剤(三新化学工業株式会社製、サンエイド、品番:SI-B5)
得られた樹脂ワニスを銅箔(三井金属鉱業株式会社製「MT18-G」)の表面にコンマ塗工機を用いて、乾燥後の樹脂の厚みが50μmとなるように塗付し、150℃、5分間オーブンにて乾燥させ、樹脂付銅箔を得た。得られた樹脂付銅箔2枚をそれらの樹脂同士が当接するように貼り合せ、180℃、90分間、3kgf/cm2の加熱加圧条件下で熱間真空プレス成形を施して両面銅張積層板を作製した。得られた両面銅張積層板の両面の銅を全てエッチングにより除去して、厚み100μmの樹脂フィルムを得た。
得られた樹脂ワニスを銅箔(三井金属鉱業株式会社製「MT18-G」)の表面にグラビア塗工機を用いて、乾燥後の樹脂の厚さが5μmとなるように塗布し、150℃、3分間オーブンにて乾燥させて、樹脂付銅箔を得た。得られた樹脂付銅箔を100mm×100mmのサイズに切り出し、100mm×100mmサイズの厚さ0.5mmのガラスに、樹脂がガラスに当接するように貼り合せた。得られた積層体に150℃、1分間の加熱条件下で真空ラミネート成形を施してガラス積層板を得た。
作製したガラス積層板について以下の評価を行った。
作製したガラス積層板に配線幅10mm、配線厚み20μmの銅配線をMSAP(モディファイド・セミアディティブ・プロセス)工法により形成し、JIS C 6481に準拠して剥離強度を測定した。測定は5回実施し、その平均値を剥離強度の値とし、以下の基準に従い評価した。なお、ここで測定される剥離強度は、ガラス/樹脂間の界面剥離、樹脂内の凝集破壊、及び樹脂/銅箔間の界面剥離の3つの破壊モードが反映された値であり、その値が高いほどガラスへの密着性、樹脂層の強度、及び低粗度箔への密着性に優れることを意味している。結果は表1に示されるとおりであった。
‐評価A:0.8kgf/cm以上
‐評価B:0.3kgf/cm以上でかつ0.8kgf/cm未満
‐評価C:0.3kgf/cm未満
上記(3)で得られたガラス積層板を3D加熱表面形状測定装置(akrometrix社製、サーモレイPS200S)を用いて基板の反り量を測定した。反り量はガラス積層板のZ座標の最大値と最小値との差から算出した。測定は27℃雰囲気で5回行い、得られた測定値の平均値を反りとし、以下の基準に従い評価した。結果は表1に示されるとおりであった。
‐評価A:700μm未満
‐評価B:700μm以上でかつ900μm未満
‐評価C:900μm以上
上記(2)で得られた樹脂フィルムを10mm×150mmのサイズに切り出し、オートグラフ(株式会社島津製作所製)を用いて、JISK7161-1:2014に準拠して破断伸び率(%)を測定した。このとき、オートグラフのチャック間隔は50mmとし、引張速度は50mm/minとした。測定は5回行い、得られた測定値の平均値を破断伸び率とし、以下の基準に従い評価した。結果は表1に示されるとおりであった。
‐評価A:500%以上
‐評価B:200%以上でかつ500%未満
‐評価C:200%未満
上記(2)で得られた樹脂フィルムを目視観察して、透明性を以下の基準に従い評価した。結果は表1に示されるとおりであった。
‐評価A:樹脂フィルムが濁りなく透明に見える
‐評価C:樹脂フィルムが濁って不透明に見える
Claims (7)
- 下記成分:
(a)JIS K7161-1:2014に準拠して測定される引張弾性率が200MPa以下であるアクリルポリマーと、
(b)前記(a)成分とは異なる化合物であり、カルボキシル基を有するアクリル樹脂である、25℃で固形の樹脂と、
(c)前記(a)成分及び前記(b)成分の少なくとも1つと架橋可能な、エポキシ化合物、イソシアネート化合物及びジアミン化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも一種である、25℃で液状の樹脂と、
(d)重合開始剤と、
を含む樹脂組成物であって、前記(a)成分、前記(b)成分及び前記(c)成分の総量100重量部に対して、前記(a)成分の含有量が35重量部以上93重量部以下であり、前記(b)成分の含有量が3重量部以上60重量部以下であり、前記(c)成分の含有量が1重量部以上25重量部以下である、樹脂組成物。 - 前記(a)成分の前記(b)成分に対する重量比a/bが、0.6以上18以下である、請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記(c)成分の前記(d)成分に対する重量比c/dが、50以上5000以下である、請求項1又は2に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記(a)成分又は前記(b)成分の少なくとも1つがカルボキシル基を有し、かつ、前記(c)成分が液状脂環式エポキシ化合物である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 硬化後における、前記樹脂組成物のJIS K7161-1:2014に準拠して測定される破断伸び率が200%以上である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 平滑面を備えた銅箔と、
前記平滑面に設けられる、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物と、
を備えた樹脂付銅箔。 - ガラス基板と、
前記ガラス基板の少なくとも一方の面に設けられる、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂組成物と、
を備えた複合材料。
