図1は電池1の一例を示す。電池1は、電極群2と、電極群2が収納される外装容器3と、を備える。外装容器3は、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、鉄又はステンレス等の金属から形成される。外装容器3は、容器本体5と、蓋6と、を備える。ここで、電池1及び外装容器3では、縦方向(矢印X1及び矢印X2で示す方向)、縦方向に対して交差する(垂直又は略垂直な)横方向(矢印Y1及び矢印Y2で示す方向)、及び、縦方向及び横方向の両方に対して交差する(垂直又は略垂直な)高さ方向(矢印Z1及び矢印Z2で示す方向)が、規定される。電池1及び外装容器3のそれぞれでは、縦方向についての寸法が、横方向についての寸法、及び、高さ方向についての寸法のそれぞれに比べて、遥かに小さい。
図6に示す変形例では、板部26に開口部29が形成されておらず、板部31にのみ開口部29が形成されている。この場合、板部26において接合部25を形成可能な領域が広くなる。よって、集電タブ(15B及び16Bの対応する一方)にクリップ板21を接合する場合、集電タブにクリップ板21を容易に接合できる。
Claims (6)
- 正極、負極及び集電タブを備える電極群と、
第1の係合部を備え、前記集電タブに取り付けられるクリップ板と、
前記クリップ板の前記第1の係合部に係合可能な第2の係合部を備え、前記クリップ板を間に介して前記集電タブに接続される接続リードであって、前記第1の係合部への前記第2の係合部の係合によって前記クリップ板に対する移動が規制される接続リードと、
を具備する電池。 - 前記第1の係合部は、前記クリップ板に形成された開口部であり、
前記第2の係合部は、前記接続リードから突出する突出部である、
請求項1に記載の電池。 - 前記突出部は、前記集電タブの端部側に向かうにつれて、前記接続リードからの突出量が減少する、
請求項2に記載の電池。 - 前記クリップ板は、互いに対して対向する一対の板部を備えるとともに、前記一対の板部の間で前記集電タブを挟んだ状態で前記集電タブに取り付けられ、
前記第1の係合部は、前記一対の板部のそれぞれに1つずつ設けられる一対の第1の係合部であり、
前記第2の係合部は、前記一対の第1の係合部の一方と係合する、
請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の電池。 - 前記クリップ板は、前記集電タブと接合する接合部を備え、
前記第1の係合部は、前記接合部から離れて位置する、
請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の電池。 - 正極、負極及び集電タブを備える電極群を形成することと、
前記集電タブに、第1の係合部が形成されたクリップ板を取り付けることと、
前記第1の係合部と係合可能な第2の係合部を備える接続リードの前記第2の係合部を前記第1の係合部に係合させた状態で、前記クリップ板、前記集電タブ及び前記接続リードを接合することと、
を含む、電池の製造方法。
