・ベース樹脂:アモルファス-ポリα-オレフィンポリマー(エボニック社製のベストプラスト704) 70質量部
・粘着性付与剤:水添石油樹脂(出光興産株式会社製のアイマーブ P-100) 30質量部
ホットメルト接着剤1の溶融温度は160℃、粘度は5275mPa・s、軟化点は105℃であった。
・ベース樹脂:スチレン・イソプレン・ブロックポリマー(日本ゼオン株式会社のクインタック3433N) 30質量部
・粘着付与剤1:脂環族系石油樹脂水素化物(荒川化学工業株式会社製のアルコンM100) 30質量部
・粘着付与剤2:芳香族系炭化水素樹脂(三井化学株式会社製のFTR-0100) 20質量部
・軟化材:パラフィンオイル(出光興産株式会社製のダイアナフレシアW-90) 20質量部
ホットメルト接着剤2の溶融温度は160℃、粘度は5250mPa・s、軟化点は103℃であった。
・ベース樹脂:エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体(東ソー社製のウルトラセン722) 60質量部
・粘着性付与剤:脂肪族系石油樹脂水素化物(日本ゼオン株式会社製のQuintone R100) 30質量部
・ワックス:フィッシャートロプシュワックス(Shell社製のGTL Sarawax SX100) 15質量部
・酸化防止剤:ヒンダードフェノール系酸化防止剤(BASFジャパン株式会社製のIrganox 1010) 1質量部
溶融温度は160℃、で粘度は7055mPa・s、軟化点は109℃であった。
・ベース樹脂:ポリメチルメタクリレート-ポリブチルアクリレートブロック共重合体(株式会社クラレ社製のクラリティLA3320) 30質量部
・粘着性付与剤:芳香族系炭化水素樹脂(三井化学株式会社製のFTR-2120) 30質量部
・軟化剤:アクリルポリマー(東亞合成株式会社製のARUFON UP-10000) 40質量部
溶融温度は160℃、で粘度は9950mPa・s、軟化点は106℃であった。
・ベース樹脂:ヒドロキシステアリン酸系エステル系ワックス(伊藤製油株式会社製のITOHWAX E-230) 100質量部
溶融温度は160℃、で粘度は600mPa・s、軟化点は70℃であった。
・ベース樹脂:ヒドロキシ脂肪酸系アミド(伊藤製油株式会社製のITOHWAX J-50) 100質量部
溶融温度は160℃、で粘度は1050mPa・s、軟化点は76℃であった。
容量4Lのステンレス鋼(SUS)製の攪拌混錬機中に、前記ホットメルト接着剤1~6の材料を2kg投入し、165℃以上で攪拌、溶融させた。
TVOCの量の測定は、ガスクロマトグラフ質量分析計(GC アジレント社製7890B GCシステム、MS アジレント社製5977Bシリーズ GC/MSDシステム、DHS ゲステル社製DHSシステム)を用い、ダイナミックヘッドスペース法に基づいて行った。試料の加熱温度は65℃、加熱時間は60分間とし、ガスクロには内径0.25mm、ジメチルポリシロキサンコーティング(コーティング厚1.00μm)、長さ60mのキャピラリーカラムを使用した。カラムの昇温プログラムは50~300℃まで10℃/分で加熱し、その後39分間保持した。この操作によって、質量分析器で検出したn-ヘキサデカンまでの物質をすべて、基準物質であるトルエンと仮定し、トルエンの検量線からトルエン換算の発生ガス量を求め、これをTVOCと見なした。
表1~8の結果から明らかなように、本発明の製法に基づいて得られた様々な組成のホットメルト接着剤(実施例1~31)では、TVOCの量が10ppm以下となっており、臭気も低減した。さらに、脱気工程において、分速排気速度や到達真空度が好ましい範囲となっている、実施例2、4~7等ではより高い効果が得られていることもわかる。さらに条件によっては、TVOCの量を非常に低減できることも確認できた(実施例14~26)。
Claims (6)
- エラストマー系、ポリオレフィン系、エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマー(EVA)系、ポリアクリレート系、ポリエステル系、及びポリアミド系の熱可塑性ポリマーからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の熱可塑性樹脂ポリマーをベース樹脂とし、粘着性付与剤を含むホットメルト接着剤の製造方法であって、
ホットメルト接着剤用材料を加熱混練する間若しくは加熱混練した後に、加熱混練機の下方から、流体を前記ホットメルト接着剤用材料100質量部に対して0.3質量部以上の量で導入し、前記ホットメルト接着剤用材料と前記流体が接するように加熱撹拌または分散を行いながら、減圧し脱気を行うことを含む、ホットメルト接着剤の製造方法。 - 前記流体は、窒素ガス、酸素ガス、アルゴンガス、ヘリウムガス、二酸化炭素ガス、一酸化炭素ガス、アンモニアガス、空気、液化窒素、液化ヘリウム、液化二酸化炭素、液化アルゴン、液化酸素、メタノール、エタノール、1-プロパノール、イソプロピルアルコール、2-ブタノール、ノルマルヘキサン、ジエチルエーテル、酢酸エチル、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、テトラヒドロフラン、リモネン、脂肪族系溶剤、水からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種である、請求項1に記載のホットメルト接着剤の製造方法。
- 前記加熱混練機容積に対し0.4倍容積以上の分速排気速度で脱気を行う、請求項1または2に記載のホットメルト接着剤の製造方法。
- 前記脱気におけるゲージ圧が-60kPaより高い真空度で減圧を行う、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のホットメルト接着剤の製造方法。
- さらに前記加熱混練機から排気した排気ガスを、冷却凝集させ、揮発性有機化合物を含んだ流体を回収することを含む、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のホットメルト接着剤の製造方法。
- 前記流体の回収率が60%以上である、請求項5に記載のホットメルト接着剤の製造方法。
