Description
まずは本発明の第一の態様に提供される正極活物質を説明する。前記正極活物質はP63mc結晶構造を有し、前記正極活物質はCoとR元素を含み、そして選択的にM元素を含むリチウム遷移金属複合酸化物である。M元素はAl、Mg、Ti、Mn、Fe、Ni、Zn、Cu、Nb、Cr、Y及びZrの少なくとも一種を含み、R元素はF、Clの少なくとも一種を含み、前記R元素的モル含有量はnRであり、前記Co及びM元素のモル含有量の合計はnCo+Mであり、前記nRと前記nCo+Mとの比は0<δ≦0.01である。

本発明の第二の態様は、正極集電体及び正極集電体の少なくとも一つの表面に設けられた正極活物質層を含む正極極片を提供する。
本発明の第三の態様は、本発明の第一の態様の正極活物質を含む電気化学装置を提供する。
S10:M元素を含有する硫酸塩及び塩化コバルトを、Co元素とM元素とのモル比が(1-y):yの割合となるように混合し、脱イオン水に入れ、混合液が得られる。沈殿剤及び錯化剤を混合液に入れ、反応液が得られ、且つ反応液のpH値を6に調整し、反応液を撹拌しながら共沈反応させ、共沈物が得られる。共沈物を600℃~700℃下に置き、焼結し、M元素がドープされた(Co1-yMy)3O4(0≦y<0.15)粉体が得られた。
1)正極極片の調製
上記調製した正極活物質、導電性カーボンブラック(Super P)、バインダーであるポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)を、95:2:3の重量比で適切な量のN-メチルピロリドン(NMP)に十分に撹拌、混合し、均一な正極スラリーに形成させ、当該正極スラリーを12μmのアルミニウム箔上に塗布し、乾燥させ、冷間圧延して、そしてカッティングし、タブを溶接して、正極が得られた。
人工黒鉛、スチレンブタジエンゴム及びカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウムを、96:2:2の重量比で脱イオン水と混合し、均一に撹拌し、負極スラリーが得られた。当該負極スラリーを12μmの銅箔上に塗布し、乾燥させ、冷間圧延して、そしてカッティングし、タブを溶接して、負極が得られた。
乾燥なアルゴンガス雰囲気で、エチレンカーボネート(EC)、プロピレンカーボネート(PC)、及びジエチルカーボネート(DEC)を、1:1:1の重量比で混合し、LiPF6を添加し、均一に混合し、電解質を形成した。ここで、LiPF6の濃度は1.15mol/Lであった。
(1)容量の発揮及びサイクル特性測定
45℃、常圧(0.1MPa)で、実施例及び比較例で調製されたリチウムイオン電池を、0.1Cの定電流で電圧が4.7Vになるまで充電し、そして4.7Vの定電圧で電流が0.05Cになるまで充電し、この際の充電容量をリチウムイオン電池の1サイクル目の充電容量とし、そして5min静置し、さらに0.1Cの定電流で電圧が3.0Vになるまで放電し、5min静置する。上記操作を一つのサイクル充放電過程とする。この際の放電容量をリチウムイオン電池の1サイクル目の放電容量とし、即ち、リチウムイオン電池の初期容量であった。リチウムイオン電池を上記の方法に従い、充放電サイクルを50回繰り返し、50サイクル目の放電容量を測定した。リチウムイオン電池の50サイクル後の容量維持率(%)=50サイクル目の放電容量/1サイクル目の放電容量×100%。
Claims (7)
- 正極活物質であって、前記正極活物質はP63mc結晶構造を有し、
前記正極活物質は、CoとR元素を含み、そして選択的なM元素を含むリチウム遷移金属複合酸化物であり、
M元素はAl、Mg、Ti、Mn、Fe、Ni、Zn、Cu、Nb、Cr、Y及びZrの少なくとも一種を含み、
R元素はF、Clの少なくとも一種を含み、
前記R元素のモル含有量はnRであり、前記Co及びM元素のモル含有量の合計はnCo+Mであり、前記nR の前記nCo+M に対する比は0<δ≦0.01であり、
前記正極活物質の表面から深さ50nmまでの領域内のR元素の濃度の、前記正極活物質のその他の領域内のR元素の濃度に対する比は、(1~10):1であり、前記正極活物質の前記その他の領域の任意の2点間におけるR元素の濃度の差は5%未満であり、ここで、R元素の濃度は前記n R の前記n Co+M に対する比である、ことを特徴とする、正極活物質。 - 請求項1に記載の正極活物質であって、以下のa~cの少なくとも一つの条件を満たすことを特徴とする正極活物質、
a.前記正極活物質は、Li元素をさらに含み、前記Li元素のモル含有量はnLiであり、前記nLi の前記nCo+M に対する比は0.6<x<0.95であり、
b.前記正極活物質は、Na元素をさらに含み、前記Na元素のモル含有量はnNaであり、前記nNa の前記nCo+M に対する比は0<z<0.03であり、
c.前記M元素のモル含有量はnMであり、前記nM の前記nCo+M に対する比は0≦y<0.15であり、前記Co元素のモル含有量はnCoであり、前記nCo の前記nCo+M に対する比は1-yである。 - 請求項1に記載の正極活物質であって、X線光電子分光法により分析して、前記正極活物質のXPSスペクトルにおいて530eV~535eVの範囲内にO1sピークを有することを特徴とする、正極活物質。
- 請求項1に記載の正極活物質であって、以下のd~fの少なくとも一つの条件を満たすことを特徴とする正極活物質、
d.前記正極活物質は粒子の表面に存在する孔及び/又は粒子の内部に存在する隙間を含み、
e.前記正極活物質の平均粒子径Dv50は10μm~25μmであり、
f.前記正極活物質の比表面積は0.1m2/g~3m2/gであり、前記正極活物質の比表面積は、窒素ガス吸着法による比表面積測定により測定し、かつ、BET(Brunauer Emmett Teller)法により算出され、ここで、窒素ガス吸着法による比表面積測定は、米国Micromeritics社製のTri Star II型比表面積及び孔隙分析装置によって行われる。 - 請求項2に記載の正極活物質であって、前記正極活物質の化学一般式はLixNazCo1-yMyO2-δRδであり、x、y、z、δが、それぞれ、0.6<x<0.95、0≦y<0.15、0≦z<0.03、0<δ≦0.01を満たすことを特徴とする、正極活物質。
- 請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の正極活物質を含む正極活物質層を含むことを特徴とする、電気化学装置。
- 請求項6に記載の電気化学装置であって、前記電気化学装置は、満放電された状態で容量が180mAh/g以上である場合、X線回折法により分析して、前記正極活物質のXRDスペクトルにおいてメインピークが18°~19°の範囲内にあり、前記メインピークの半値全幅が0°~0.5°の間にあり、
前記X線回折法による分析は、ドイツ Brucker AxS社製のBrucker D8A_A25型X線回折装置を使用し、CuKα線を放射線源とし、線の波長λ=1.5418A、走査する2θ角の範囲は10°~90°であり、走査速度は4°/minである、ことを特徴とする、電気化学装置。
