Claims (4)
- 複数のデータラインと、前記複数のデータラインにそれぞれ接続された複数の第1のスイッチを有し、第1の配線を介して複数の駆動電圧を含む駆動電圧の系列が供給され、前記複数の第1のスイッチを介して前記複数の駆動電圧を前記複数のデータラインにそれぞれ供給するデマルチプレクサとを含む表示デバイスを駆動する表示ドライバであって、
前記駆動電圧の系列を生成する電圧多重化部と、
前記電圧多重化部及び前記第1の配線の間に接続された第2のスイッチと、
第1の期間の間だけ同時に前記複数のデータラインのうちの2つのデータラインが前記第1の配線と接続されるように前記複数のデータラインの各々を1つずつ順に前記第1の期間より長い第2の期間の間だけ前記第1の配線と接続させるオンオフ制御を前記複数の第1のスイッチに施すと共に、前記第1の期間に亘り前記電圧多重化部及び前記第1の配線間を遮断するオンオフ制御を前記第2のスイッチに施す制御部と、を備えたことを特徴とする表示ドライバ。 - 前記制御部は、
前記複数の第1のスイッチに接続され、前記第1の期間に2つの前記第1のスイッチの一方をオフ状態からオン状態に切り替えるデマルチプレクサ制御部と、
前記第2のスイッチに接続され、前記第1の期間に前記第2のスイッチをオン状態からオフ状態に切り替える出力制御部と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示ドライバ。 - 前記電圧多重化部は、
各画素の輝度レベルに対応した電圧値を表す複数の階調電圧を時分割多重化して階調電圧の系列として生成する時分割多重化部と、
前記第2のスイッチ及び前記時分割多重化部の間に接続され、前記階調電圧の系列を増幅して前記駆動電圧の系列として出力する増幅器と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の表示ドライバ。 - 複数のデータラインと、前記複数のデータラインにそれぞれ接続された複数の第1のスイッチを有し、第1の配線を介して複数の駆動電圧を含む駆動電圧の系列が供給され、前記複数の第1のスイッチを介して前記複数の駆動電圧を前記複数のデータラインにそれぞれ供給するデマルチプレクサとを含む表示デバイスと、
前記駆動電圧の系列を生成する電圧多重化部と、
前記電圧多重化部及び前記第1の配線の間に接続された第2のスイッチと、
第1の期間の間だけ同時に前記複数のデータラインのうちの2つのデータラインが前記第1の配線と接続されるように前記複数のデータラインの各々を1つずつ順に前記第1の期間より長い第2の期間の間だけ前記第1の配線と接続させるオンオフ制御を前記複数の第1のスイッチに施すと共に、前記第1の期間に亘り前記電圧多重化部及び前記第1の配線間を遮断するオンオフ制御を前記第2のスイッチに施す制御部とを含む表示ドライバと、を備えたことを特徴とする表示装置。
