以下では、第1の実施形態に係る車両用駆動装置100について、図面を参照して説明する。図1に示すように、本実施形態では、車両用駆動装置100は、一対の第1車輪W1を駆動する第1駆動ユニットDU1と、一対の第2車輪W2を駆動する第2駆動ユニットDU2と、を備えている。本実施形態では、第1車輪W1は車両の前輪であり、第2車輪W2は車両の後輪である。
内燃機関EGに駆動連結される入力部材Iと、

目標回転速度Ntは、第2モードに移行後に内燃機関EGが必要な駆動力を出力するための当該内燃機関EGの回転速度に基づいて定まる第1回転要素E1の回転速度であり、
制御装置10は、第3制御において、第1係合装置CL1を解放状態からスリップ係合状態を経て直結係合状態へ変化させる係合動作中に、スリップ係合状態の第1係合装置CL1を介して第1回転電機MG1から内燃機関EGに伝達される駆動力により、内燃機関EGの回転速度を上昇させて、内燃機関EGを始動させる。
制御装置10は、第1移行制御の実行中、伝達機構Tを介して第1出力部材O1に伝達される第1回転電機MG1及び内燃機関EGからの駆動力の変動を補うように、第2回転電機MG2に駆動力を出力させる駆動力補助制御を実行する。
第2移行制御は、
第2係合装置CL2を係合状態に維持しつつ、第3係合装置CL3を係合状態から解放状態に変化させる第4制御と、
第4制御の後に、第1回転要素E1の回転速度が目標回転速度Ntに近付くように第1ロータRT1の回転速度を制御する第5制御と、

第6制御の後に、第3係合装置CL3を解放状態から係合状態に変化させると共に、第2係合装置CL2を係合状態から解放状態に変化させる第7制御と、を含み、
制御装置10は、第2回転電機MG2が出力中の駆動力と第2回転電機MG2が出力可能な上限駆動力との差である余剰駆動力Tsが、駆動力補助制御を実行するために必要な駆動力である必要駆動力Tn以上である場合に、第1移行制御を実行し、余剰駆動力Tsが必要駆動力Tn未満である場合に、第2移行制御を実行する。
また、本構成によれば、余剰駆動力Tsが必要駆動力Tn以上である場合には、駆動力補助制御を含む第1移行制御を実行する。一方、余剰駆動力Tsが必要駆動力Tn未満である場合には、駆動力補助制御を含まない第2移行制御を実行する。これにより、第2回転電機MG2に駆動力補助制御を実行するために必要な駆動力が残っていない場合であっても、駆動力補助制御が不要な第2移行制御を実行することができる。したがって、第2回転電機MG2の状態によらず、車両全体における駆動力の変動を少なく抑えることができる。
以下では、第2の実施形態に係る車両用駆動装置100について、図面を参照して説明する。本実施形態では、第1移行制御の内容が、上記第1の実施形態のものとは異なっている。以下では、上記第1の実施形態との相違点を中心として説明する。なお、特に説明しない点については、上記第1の実施形態と同様とする。
第2モードに移行後に内燃機関EGが必要な駆動力を出力するための当該内燃機関EGの回転速度に基づいて定まる第1回転要素E1の回転速度を移行後目標回転速度Ntaとして、
制御装置10は、第3制御において、第1係合装置CL1を解放状態から直結係合状態に変化させた後、第1回転要素E1の回転速度が移行後目標回転速度Ntaに近付くように第1ロータRT1の回転速度を制御し、直結係合状態の第1係合装置CL1を介して第1回転電機MG1から内燃機関EGに伝達される駆動力により、内燃機関EGの回転速度を上昇させて、内燃機関EGを始動させる。
(1)上記の実施形態では、車両用駆動装置100が第1駆動ユニットDU1と第2駆動ユニットDU2とを備えた構成を例として説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、車両用駆動装置100が第1駆動ユニットDU1を備え、第2駆動ユニットDU2を備えていない構成としても良い。この場合、図20に示すように、第1駆動ユニットDU1が第2回転電機MG2を備えていても良い。図20に示す例では、第2回転電機MG2の第2ロータRT2と一体的に回転する第2ロータギヤRG2が、第1出力部材O1としての第1差動入力ギヤ4の周方向における伝達出力ギヤ3とは異なる位置で、第1差動入力ギヤ4に噛み合っている。また、図示は省略するが、第2ロータギヤRG2が伝達出力ギヤ3に噛み合う構成であっても良い。これらの構成では、第2回転電機MG2が、分配用差動歯車機構SPの第2回転要素E2と第1出力部材O1との間の動力伝達経路における第3係合装置CL3よりも第1出力部材O1の側で、第1出力部材O1に駆動連結されている。なお、車両用駆動装置100が第2回転電機MG2を備えていない構成としても良い。
Claims (5)
- 内燃機関に駆動連結される入力部材と、
第1車輪に駆動連結される第1出力部材と、
ロータを備えた第1回転電機と、
第1回転要素、第2回転要素、及び第3回転要素を備え、前記第1回転要素が前記入力部材に駆動連結され、前記第3回転要素が前記ロータに駆動連結された分配用差動歯車機構と、
少なくとも前記第2回転要素と前記第1出力部材との間の動力伝達を行う伝達機構と、
前記入力部材と前記第1回転要素との間の動力伝達を断接する第1係合装置と、
前記第1回転要素、前記第2回転要素、及び前記第3回転要素の3つの回転要素のうちから選択される2つの間の動力伝達を断接する第2係合装置と、
前記内燃機関、前記第1回転電機、前記第1係合装置、及び前記第2係合装置を制御する制御装置と、を備え、
前記伝達機構は、前記第2回転要素と前記第1出力部材との間の動力伝達を断接する第3係合装置を備えた、車両用駆動装置であって、
動作モードとして、第1モードと、第2モードと、を備え、
前記第1モードでは、前記第1係合装置が解放状態、前記第2係合装置が係合状態、前記第3係合装置が係合状態とされ、前記内燃機関が駆動力を出力しない停止状態とされ、前記第1回転電機の駆動力が前記第1出力部材に伝達され、
前記第2モードでは、前記第1係合装置が係合状態、前記第2係合装置が解放状態、前記第3係合装置が係合状態とされ、前記内燃機関及び前記第1回転電機の駆動力が前記第1出力部材に伝達され、
前記制御装置は、前記第1モードから前記第2モードに移行する場合に、第1移行制御を実行可能であり、
前記第1移行制御は、
前記第3係合装置を係合状態に維持しつつ、前記第2係合装置を係合状態から解放状態に変化させる第1制御と、
前記第1制御の後に、前記第1回転要素の回転速度が目標回転速度に近付くように前記ロータの回転速度を制御する第2制御と、
前記第2制御の後に、前記第1係合装置を解放状態から係合状態に変化させ、前記第1係合装置を介して前記第1回転電機から前記内燃機関に伝達される駆動力により前記内燃機関を始動させる第3制御と、を含む、車両用駆動装置。 - 前記第1係合装置は、係合状態として直結係合状態とスリップ係合状態とを含む摩擦係合装置であり、
前記目標回転速度は、前記第2モードに移行後に前記内燃機関が必要な駆動力を出力するための当該内燃機関の回転速度に基づいて定まる前記第1回転要素の回転速度であり、
前記制御装置は、前記第3制御において、前記第1係合装置を解放状態からスリップ係合状態を経て直結係合状態へ変化させる係合動作中に、スリップ係合状態の前記第1係合装置を介して前記第1回転電機から前記内燃機関に伝達される駆動力により、前記内燃機関の回転速度を上昇させて、前記内燃機関を始動させる、請求項1に記載の車両用駆動装置。 - 前記目標回転速度は、ゼロであり、
前記第2モードに移行後に前記内燃機関が必要な駆動力を出力するための当該内燃機関の回転速度に基づいて定まる前記第1回転要素の回転速度を移行後目標回転速度として、
前記制御装置は、前記第3制御において、前記第1係合装置を解放状態から直結係合状態に変化させた後、前記第1回転要素の回転速度が前記移行後目標回転速度に近付くように前記ロータの回転速度を制御し、直結係合状態の前記第1係合装置を介して前記第1回転電機から前記内燃機関に伝達される駆動力により、前記内燃機関の回転速度を上昇させて、前記内燃機関を始動させる、請求項1に記載の車両用駆動装置。 - 前記第1車輪とは異なる第2車輪に駆動連結される第2出力部材に、前記第1出力部材を介することなく駆動連結され、又は、前記第2回転要素と前記第1出力部材との間の動力伝達経路における前記第3係合装置よりも前記第1出力部材の側で、前記第1出力部材に駆動連結された第2回転電機を更に備え、
前記制御装置は、前記第1移行制御の実行中、前記伝達機構を介して前記第1出力部材に伝達される前記第1回転電機及び前記内燃機関からの駆動力の変動を補うように、前記第2回転電機に駆動力を出力させる駆動力補助制御を実行する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の車両用駆動装置。 - 前記制御装置は、前記第1モードから前記第2モードに移行する場合に、前記第1移行制御と第2移行制御とを選択的に実行可能であり、
前記第2移行制御は、
前記第2係合装置を係合状態に維持しつつ、前記第3係合装置を係合状態から解放状態に変化させる第4制御と、
前記第4制御の後に、前記第1回転要素の回転速度が前記目標回転速度に近付くように前記ロータの回転速度を制御する第5制御と、
前記第5制御の後に、前記第1係合装置を解放状態から係合状態に変化させ、前記第1係合装置を介して前記第1回転電機から前記内燃機関に伝達される駆動力により前記内燃機関を始動させる第6制御と、
前記第6制御の後に、前記第3係合装置を解放状態から係合状態に変化させると共に、前記第2係合装置を係合状態から解放状態に変化させる第7制御と、を含み、
前記制御装置は、前記第2回転電機が出力中の駆動力と前記第2回転電機が出力可能な上限駆動力との差である余剰駆動力が、前記駆動力補助制御を実行するために必要な駆動力である必要駆動力以上である場合に、前記第1移行制御を実行し、前記余剰駆動力が前記必要駆動力未満である場合に、前記第2移行制御を実行する、請求項4に記載の車両用駆動装置。
