Description
本発明についての実施形態を説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲において、種々の改変が可能である。本実施形態では、切削刃部12a~12d各々の個数を4としたが、1~3、または5以上としてもよい。
上記各実施形態から把握しうる発明について、以下に記載する。
14(14a~14d)…すくい面 22(22a~22d)…切れ刃
24(24a~24d)…溝
Claims (3)
- 軸線を中心に回転される切削工具であって、
軸方向の異なる位置に設けられた複数の軸部と、
すくい面と、切れ刃と、を有し、前記複数の軸部にそれぞれ設けられた複数の切削刃部と、を備え、
前記複数の軸部は、第1の軸部(Sa)と、前記第1の軸部よりも基端側に設けられ且つ前記第1の軸部よりも大径の第2の軸部(Sb)と、前記第2の軸部よりも基端側に設けられ且つ前記第2の軸部よりも大径の第3の軸部(Sc)と、前記第3の軸部よりも基端側に設けられ且つ前記第3の軸部よりも大径の第4の軸部(Sd)と、を有し、
前記すくい面は、前記軸線と平行に形成された面であり、
前記すくい面には、前記切れ刃に達する一端を有し、並列して配置されて、前記切れ刃に潤滑液を供給するための、複数の溝が形成されており、
前記第1及び第4の軸部に設けられた前記切削刃部の前記複数の溝は、前記軸線に対して傾斜して形成され、
前記第1及び第4の軸部に設けられた前記切削刃部は、前記軸線と垂直な面に対して傾斜した斜端面(20a、20d)を有し、
前記第2及び第3の軸部に設けられた前記切削刃部の前記複数の溝は、前記軸線に沿って形成され、
前記第2及び第3の軸部に設けられた前記切削刃部の前記切れ刃(22b、22c)は、前記軸線と垂直な面と平行であり、
前記複数の切削刃部の各々において、前記軸線を含む仮想平面に対して前記すくい面を平行に対向させたとき、前記すくい面は、前記仮想平面から前記切削工具の回転方向と逆方向にずれた位置に配置されている、切削工具。 - 請求項1に記載の切削工具において、
前記仮想平面から前記すくい面までの距離は、0.1mm以上、0.7mm以下である、切削工具。 - 請求項1又は2記載の切削工具において、
前記軸線を中心とする円周に沿って配置される、複数の前記切削刃部を備える、切削工具。
