[0001] 本願は、いずれも2013年6月6日に提出された、「軸外光制限による埋没物光信号の検出」と題された米国仮特許出願第61/832,065号及び「大きな比の表面領域による埋没物光信号の検出」と題された米国仮特許出願第61/832,078号の、米国特許法第119条(e)に基づく優先権を主張する。これらの出願の開示内容はその全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
Claims (13)
- 皮膚の第1の表面領域を通して、前記皮膚より下のある深さに埋没されているセンサに、蛍光染料の吸収帯内の励起光信号を伝達するように構成された光源であって、前記センサは、前記蛍光染料を含み、前記光源は、前記皮膚に平行に位置決めされるように構成されている、光源と、
前記皮膚に平行に位置決めされるように構成された一つ以上の検出器であって、前記一つ以上の検出器は、前記センサに前記励起光信号が照射されることに応答して前記センサから放射された分析物依存性信号を皮膚の第2の表面領域を通して検出するように構成され、前記分析物依存性信号は、前記蛍光染料の発光帯内にあり、前記第2の表面領域は、前記第1の表面領域の少なくとも4倍であり、前記光源と前記検出器の少なくとも一部との間の距離は、前記深さよりも大きい、一つ以上の検出器と、
レンズのアレイであって、前記レンズのアレイからの各レンズは、前記分析物依存性信号の少なくとも一部を前記一つ以上の検出器の少なくとも一つに合焦させるように構成されている、レンズのアレイと、
を備える装置。 - 開口を更に備え、
前記開口、前記レンズ、前記一つ以上の検出器の少なくとも一つは、所定の入射角よりも大きな入射角を有する光子が前記検出器に当たるのを抑制するようにまとめて構成されている、請求項1の装置。 - 前記レンズのアレイは、一体形成されている、請求項1の装置。
- 開口のアレイからの各開口は、前記レンズのアレイからのレンズの中心と略整列している、請求項1の装置。
- 前記吸収帯内の光信号を減衰させるように構成されたフィルタを更に備える、請求項1の装置。
- 前記吸収帯内の光信号を減衰させるように構成されたフィルタを更に備え、
前記フィルタは、前記発光帯内の光信号を略減衰させずに伝達するように構成されている、請求項1の装置。 - 前記吸収帯内の光信号を減衰させるように構成されたダイクロイックフィルタを更に備え、
前記ダイクロイックフィルタは、前記吸収帯内の光信号を減衰するときの前記ダイクロイックフィルタの有効性が、入射角の増大に伴って低下するように、光信号を入射角の関数としてブルーシフトするように構成され、
前記一つ以上の検出器は、ブルーシフトされた分析物依存性光信号を検出するように構成されない、請求項1の装置。 - 前記励起光信号の一部は、前記埋没物を包囲する組織により散乱され、
前記装置は、前記レンズのアレイと前記一つ以上の検出器との間に配置された開口のアレイを更に備え、(1)開口のアレイ、(2)前記レンズのアレイ、及び(3)前記ダイクロイックフィルタが、前記励起光信号のブルーシフトされた部分を含む、前記励起光信号の部分が前記一つ以上の検出器に入射するのを抑制するようにまとめて構成されるように、開口のアレイからの各開口は、前記検出器へ伝搬する光信号の入力角を制御するように構成されている、請求項7の装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
前記検出器と前記皮膚との間に配置されるカバーを更に備える、装置。 - 請求項1の前記装置を含むシステムであって、
前記センサを備え、
前記検出器の少なくとも一部は、前記光源からある横方向距離に配設され、前記横方向距離は、前記深さの少なくとも2倍である、システム。 - 請求項1に記載の装置を含むシステムであって、
前記システムは、前記センサを備え、
前記光源は、前記センサの直上に配置され、前記検出器の少なくとも一部は、前記光源からある距離にあり、前記距離は前記深さの少なくとも2倍である、システム。 - 前記一つ以上の検出器は、開口を定義し、前記光源は、前記開口を通じて前記センサに前記励起光信号を伝達するように構成されている、請求項1の装置。
- 前記一つ以上の検出器は、複数の検出器を含み、
前記光源は、前記装置により定義される開口を通じて前記センサに前記励起光信号を伝達するように構成され、
前記複数の検出器は、前記開口を実質的に囲む、請求項1の装置。
