Claims (5)
- ノズル下端部に設けられた第1水平方向に延びるスリット状の吐出口から分散系塗布液を吐出するノズルを洗浄するノズル洗浄装置であって、
前記ノズル下端部を洗浄する洗浄液を貯留する貯留領域が設けられる洗浄槽下端部と、前記貯留領域で前記洗浄液を貯留しながら前記洗浄液中に前記ノズル下端部を浸漬可能とする開口部とを有する洗浄槽と、
液体を貯留しながら前記液体中に前記洗浄槽下端部を浸漬させた状態で前記洗浄槽の下方に設けられる液体槽と、
前記液体槽に貯留された前記液体中で超音波振動を発生させ、前記液体、前記洗浄槽下端部および前記洗浄液を介して前記ノズル下端部に超音波振動を与える超音波振動子と、を備え、
前記洗浄槽下端部および前記貯留領域が、前記第1水平方向から見て、前記超音波振動子に向かって先細り形状に仕上げられ、
前記貯留領域は、
前記第1水平方向に延びる溝と、
前記溝に対して前記第1水平方向と直交する第2水平方向の一方側に設けられて前記溝に向かって傾斜する第1貯留傾斜面と、
前記溝に対して前記第2水平方向の他方側に設けられて前記溝に向かって傾斜する第2貯留傾斜面とを有し、
前記分散系塗布液に含まれる前記洗浄液に対して不溶解性の固形物を前記第1貯留傾斜面および前記第2貯留傾斜面により前記溝に案内する
ことを特徴とするノズル洗浄装置。 - 請求項1に記載のノズル洗浄装置であって、
前記ノズルの洗浄後に、前記第1水平方向の一方側より前記貯留領域をフレッシュな前記洗浄液を供給するとともに、前記第1水平方向の他方側より前記貯留領域から前記ノズルの洗浄に用いた前記洗浄液を排出することで、前記貯留領域をリンスするノズル洗浄装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載のノズル洗浄装置であって、
前記ノズルが、下方に向かって先細り形状に仕上げられ、前記吐出口に対して前記第2水平方向の一方側で前記ノズル下端部の下面に向かって傾斜する第1リップ面と、前記吐出口に対して前記第2水平方向の他方側で前記ノズル下端部の下面に向かって傾斜する第2リップ面と、を有するとき、
前記洗浄槽は、前記溝が前記吐出口に対向し、前記第1貯留傾斜面が前記第1リップ面に対向し、前記第2貯留傾斜面が前記第2リップ面に対向するように、配置されるノズル洗浄装置。 - 請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載のノズル洗浄装置であって、
前記溝が、前記第1水平方向から見て、弧状に仕上げられているノズル洗浄装置。 - ノズル下端部に設けられた第1水平方向に延びるスリット状の吐出口から分散系塗布液をノズルから吐出して基板に前記分散系塗布液を塗布する塗布処理部と、
前記ノズル洗浄する請求項1ないし4のいずれか一項に記載のノズル洗浄装置と、を備えることを特徴とする塗布装置。
