Description

実施例2のコーティングについて、焼成温度を更に下げることを試みた場合、コーティングは、30分後、287℃で完全には硬化しないことが分かり、これは、MEK摩擦耐変色性試験の実施時に、一部の細かい青色が薄まることがパネルから示されることにより、立証された。

Claims (15)
- フッ素重合体1コートコーティングであって、高温耐性高分子バインダーと、ASTM D 4591の方法による融点が255℃未満の低融点テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体と、結晶化熱が少なくとも約50J/gの低分子量ポリテトラフルオロエチレンとを含む、フッ素重合体1コートコーティング。
- 前記低融点テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体は、ASTM D 4591の方法により、融点が約250℃以下である、請求項1に記載のフッ素重合体1コートコーティング。
- 前記低融点テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体は、ASTM D 4591の方法により、融点が約240℃以下である、請求項1に記載のフッ素重合体1コートコーティング。
- 前記テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体は、融点が、前記高分子バインダーの融点より約40℃低い温度から前記高分子バインダーの融点より約25℃高い温度の範囲にある、請求項1に記載のフッ素重合体1コートコーティング。
- 前記低融点テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体は、ASTM D 1238により、温度が297℃、かつ、荷重が2,060gで測定する場合に、メルトフローレートが約20~約60である、請求項1に記載のフッ素重合体1コートコーティング。
- 約25~約50重量パーセントの前記高分子バインダーと、約50~約75重量パーセントの前記テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体および前記ポリテトラフルオロエチレンとを含み、前記重量パーセントは、前記高分子バインダー、前記テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体、及び、前記ポリテトラフルオロエチレンの乾燥重量の合計に基づく、請求項1に記載のフッ素重合体1コートコーティング。
- 前記フッ素重合体は、約20~約60重量パーセントの前記テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体と、約40~約80重量パーセントの前記ポリテトラフルオロエチレンとを含み、前記重量パーセントは、前記テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体、及び、前記ポリテトラフルオロエチレンの乾燥重量の合計に基づく、請求項1に記載のフッ素重合体1コートコーティング。
- フッ素重合体1コートコーティング形成用組成物であって、溶媒と、高温耐性高分子バインダーと、ASTM D 4591の方法による融点が255℃未満の低融点テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体と、結晶化熱が少なくとも約50J/gの低分子量ポリテトラフルオロエチレンとを含む、組成物。
- 界面活性剤を更に含む、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 基材上にフッ素重合体1コートコーティングを形成するプロセスであって、
i)溶媒と、高温耐性高分子バインダーと、ASTM D 4591の方法による融点が255℃未満の低融点テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体と、結晶化熱が少なくとも約50J/gの低分子量ポリテトラフルオロエチレンとを含むコーティング組成物を基材の表面に塗布するステップと、
ii)前記基材上の前記コーティング組成物から前記溶媒を除去するステップと、
iii)前記高分子バインダー、及び、前記テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体を溶融するのに十分な温度で、前記基材の前記コーティング組成物を加熱するステップと、
iv)前記高分子バインダーと前記テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体の融点より低い温度まで前記コーティング組成物を冷却して、前記フッ素重合体1コートコーティングを前記基材上に形成するステップとを含む、プロセス。 - 前記基材が、ニチノールを含む、請求項10に記載のプロセス。
- コーティング組成物を有する1コートコーティングされた基材であって、前記コーティング組成物が、高温耐性高分子バインダーと、ASTM D 4591の方法による融点が255℃未満の低融点テトラフルオロエチレン/ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体と、結晶化熱が少なくとも約50J/gの低分子量ポリテトラフルオロエチレンとを含む、1コートコーティングされた基材。
- 前記基材がニチノールを含む、請求項12に記載の1コートコーティングされた基材。
- 前記コーティングの乾燥被覆厚さは、約0.00254mm(0.1ミル)~約0.0102mm(0.4ミル)である、請求項12に記載の1コートコーティングされた基材。
- 前記コーティングは、静摩擦係数が約0.2以下であり、動摩擦係数が約0.17以下であり、前記摩擦係数は、ASTM D 1894の方法で測定される、請求項12に記載の1コートコーティングされた基材。
