Description
(1-1)鉄道車両用台車の構成
図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る鉄道車両用台車の構造例を示す図である。
次に、本実施形態に係る鉄道車両用台車1が、鉄道車両の走行時にどのように動作するかについて、走行状況別に詳しく説明する。
まず、鉄道車両用台車1が「直線または緩い曲線を通過するとき」は、空気ばね2の弾性要素(以後の説明では弾性要素20を用いるが、上述した弾性要素30、40であってもよい)の水平変位及び前後変位は小さい。言い換えれば、弾性要素20の変位は図3に示した小変位領域に収まる。そのため、弾性要素20は、車体-台車間を正のばね定数で弾性支持し、車体-台車間の振動伝達を低減し、乗り心地が良い状態を保つ。
次に、鉄道車両用台車1が「(緩い曲線以外の)曲線を通過するとき」は、左右方向に一対で配置された空気ばね2における弾性要素20の水平変位及び前後変位は大きくなる。特に、鉄道車両用台車1が曲線半径が小さい急曲線を通過する場合には、弾性要素20の前後変位は大きくなり、図3に示した大変位領域まで変位する。
次に、鉄道車両用台車1が「曲線を通過して直線に戻ったとき」は、軌道の変位拘束によって、車体-台車間の相対ヨー角が強制的にゼロに戻されるため、鉄道車両用台車1は元の中立位置に戻る。この結果、弾性要素20の前後方向の変位も、元の中立位置に戻り、小変位領域に収まる。そのため、弾性要素20は、車体-台車間を正のばね定数で弾性支持し、車体-台車間の振動伝達を低減し、乗り心地が良い状態を保つ。
本発明の第2の実施形態について説明する。第2の実施形態において、第1の実施形態と共通する部分については、繰り返しの説明を省略する。

Claims (6)
- 鉄道車両の車体と台車枠との間に配置されて両者を弾性支持する弾性要素を備え、
前記弾性要素は、前記車体の進行方向の前後方向の変位に対するばね定数が、前記進行方向の垂直方向または左右方向の変位に対するばね定数よりも小さく構成され、
前記弾性要素は、前記進行方向の前後方向に所定量を超えて変形した場合に、変位の増加に伴ってばね力の絶対値が減少する負のばね定数を持つ
ことを特徴とする鉄道車両用台車。 - 前記弾性要素は、弾性体及びプレートが上下方向に積層化して構成され、かつ、前記進行方向に対して前側または後側と中央側とに開口して構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の鉄道車両用台車。 - 前記弾性要素において前記弾性体は、前記前側及び前記後側の開口部の幅が、前記中央側の開口部の幅よりも広く構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の鉄道車両用台車。 - 前記弾性要素の前記前後方向の側に、前記弾性要素の前記前後方向への所定以上の変位を規制するストッパが配置される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の鉄道車両用台車。 - 前記弾性要素は、前記前後方向の変位に対するばね定数が比較的小さい第1の弾性体と、前記前後方向の変位に対するばね定数が前記第1の弾性体よりも大きい第2の弾性体と、を有して構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の鉄道車両用台車。 - 前記弾性要素は、前記第1及び前記第2の弾性体とプレートとが積層化して構成され、かつ、前記進行方向に対して前側または後側と中央側とに開口して構成され、
前記弾性要素の前記プレートの間の同一層において、前記第1の弾性体は前記前側及び前記後側に配置され、前記第2の弾性体は前記中央側に配置される
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の鉄道車両用台車。
