Claims (2)
- 金属製シリンダヘッドの内壁面とピストンの頂面間に主燃焼室が形成され、シリンダヘッドに、シリンダヘッドの内壁面から主燃焼室内に突出する薄肉副室壁により包囲された副室が形成されており、副室内と主燃焼室内とを連通する連通孔が薄肉副室壁内に形成されており、副室内に点火栓の電極が配置されており、点火栓により副室内の混合気を燃焼させたときに連通孔からジェット火炎が主燃焼室に噴出する副室付内燃機関において、薄肉副室壁全体を同一金属材料から形成し、薄肉副室壁を貫通する連通孔周りの全外周面を覆う被覆層のみを、該金属材料よりも熱伝導率の低い材料により形成した副室付内燃機関。
- 金属製中空スリーブの先端部に薄肉副室壁が結合されており、該中空スリーブ内に挿入された点火栓の先端部と薄肉副室壁の内側面間に副室が形成され、該中空スリーブが金属製シリンダヘッド内に挿入される請求項1に記載の副室付内燃機関。
