Description
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様に係る半導体装置及び表示システムについて説明する。
図1に、表示システム10の構成例を示す。表示システム10は、外部から受信したデータに基づいて映像を表示するための信号を生成し、当該信号を用いて映像を表示する機能を有する。表示システム10は、表示部20、信号生成部30、及び演算部40を有する。
表示部20は、表示領域DSPを有する。表示領域DSPは、信号生成部30から入力される、所定の映像を表示するための信号(以下、映像信号ともいう)に基づいて、映像を表示する機能を有する。表示領域DSPは、複数の画素pixによって構成されている。ここでは、表示領域DSPがn行m列(n、mは自然数)の画素pixによって構成されている場合について説明する。
信号生成部30は、外部から入力されたデータDに基づいて映像信号を生成する機能を有する。信号生成部30は、受信部RCV、取得部SA、取得部DA、選択部SP、補正部CP、画像処理部IP、及び出力部OPを有する。これらはいずれも、回路によって構成することができる。
ニューラルネットワークNN1の学習は、信号生成部30の外部に設けられた演算部40を用いて行うことができる。図1に、学習部LP及び記憶装置MEMを有する演算部40を示す。
次に、ニューラルネットワークNN1及びニューラルネットワークNN2に用いることが可能なニューラルネットワークの構成例について説明する。ニューラルネットワークの構成例を図9に示す。ニューラルネットワークは、ニューロン回路NCと、ニューロン回路間に設けられたシナプス回路SCによって構成されている。
次に、ニューラルネットワークNN1を用いて映像信号を生成する際の表示システム10の動作例を説明する。図10は表示システム10の動作例を示すフローチャートである。
本実施の形態では、上記実施の形態で説明した演算部の構成例について説明する。
本実施の形態では、上記実施の形態で説明したニューラルネットワークに用いることができる半導体装置の構成例について説明する。
半導体装置200の構成の一例を図12に示す。図12に示す半導体装置200は、記憶回路210(MEM)と、参照用記憶回路220(RMEM)と、回路230と、回路240と、を有する。半導体装置200は、さらに電流源回路250(CREF)を有していても良い。

次いで、記憶回路210(MEM)と、参照用記憶回路220(RMEM)の具体的な構成の一例について、図13を用いて説明する。
次いで、回路230と、回路240と、電流源回路250(CREF)の具体的な構成の一例について、図15を用いて説明する。
次いで、図14~図16を用いて、本発明の一態様に係る半導体装置200の具体的な動作の一例について説明する。
本実施の形態では、上記実施の形態において用いることができるOSトランジスタの構成例について説明する。
図17(A)は、トランジスタの構成例を示す上面図である。図17(B)は、図17(A)のX1-X2線断面図であり、図17(C)はY1-Y2線断面図である。ここでは、X1-X2線の方向をチャネル長方向と、Y1-Y2線方向をチャネル幅方向と呼称する場合がある。図17(B)は、トランジスタのチャネル長方向の断面構造を示す図であり、図17(C)は、トランジスタのチャネル幅方向の断面構造を示す図である。なお、デバイス構造を明確にするため、図17(A)では、一部の構成要素が省略されている。
次に、OSトランジスタと他のトランジスタの積層によって構成される半導体装置の構造について説明する。
本実施の形態では、上記実施の形態で説明した表示部に用いることができる表示装置の構成例について説明する。
図20(A)に、表示部20に用いることが可能な表示装置400の構成例を示す。表示装置400は、画素部401、駆動回路402、及び駆動回路403を有する。
表示部20には、複数の表示パネルによって構成された表示装置を用いることもできる。図21に、複数の表示パネルDPを有する表示装置410の構成例を示す。
本実施の形態では、上記実施の形態で説明した表示装置の具体的な構成例について説明する。

本実施の形態では、上記実施の形態で説明したOSトランジスタに用いることができる、金属酸化物について説明する。以下では特に、金属酸化物とCAC(Cloud-Aligned Composite)-OSの詳細について説明する。

- 第1の取得部と、第2の取得部と、選択部と、補正部と、を有し、
前記第1の取得部は、映像のシーンに関する第1の情報を取得する機能を有し、
前記第2の取得部は、映像の奥行きに関する第2の情報を取得する機能を有し、
前記選択部に、前記映像のシーンに関する第1の情報及び前記映像の奥行きに関する第2の情報が入力され、
前記選択部は、
前記映像のシーンに関する第1の情報に基づいて判別される、前記映像の奥行きに関する第2の情報に対応したニューラルネットワークを選択する機能と、
前記ニューラルネットワークを選択した後、映像の立体感の強調に適した深度マップを出力する前記ニューラルネットワークを用いて前記映像の奥行きに関する第2の情報を変換する機能と、
前記映像の奥行きに関する第2の情報を変換したデータを前記補正部に出力する機能と、を有し、
前記補正部は、前記選択部から出力されたデータに基づいて画像データを補正する機能を有する半導体装置。
