Description
この構成によれば、対向方向に加えた力を設置面と対向面との間に位置付けた同軸ケーブルにより効率的に加えて、比較的大きな同軸ケーブルをも適切にカシメることができる同軸ケーブルコネクタが提供される。
尚、上記同軸ケーブルコネクタにおいて、前記対の圧着片を回動させたときに前記設置面と対向する対向面と、前記対の圧着片を回動させたときに相手圧着片と突き合わされる突合せ面は、互いに衝突し得るように構成されてもよい。
変形例では、圧着片50Cが仮想面「S」に対して成す角度、及び、圧着片50Dが仮想面「S」に対して成す角度が、それぞれ、略30度(図10参照)に設定されたときに、圧着片50Cの衝突面60Caと、圧着片50Bの衝突面60Daとが衝突するように構成されている。但し、上に説明した実施形態と同様に、圧着片50Cの突合せ面52Cに設けた凹部54C及び凸部53Cと、圧着片50Dの突合せ面52Dに設けた凸部53D及び凹部54Dは、それぞれ、圧着片50Cの衝突面60Caと圧着片50Bの衝突面60Daが衝突する前に噛み合わされる。このような構成とすることにより、衝突時に、圧着片50Cとハウジング40との間の折部55Cにかかる負担、及び、圧着片50Dとハウジング40との間の折部55Dにかかる負担を、軽減することができるともに、芯線97を確実に捉えることができる。

Claims (11)
- 端子と、
前記端子を支持するハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの外部の少なくとも一部を覆う外部導体シェルと、
を備え、
前記端子は、前記ハウジングから露出した設置面を有しており、
前記ハウジングは、前記設置面を挟んで対向する各側に、折部を中心に前記設置面に向かって回動可能に設けられた対の圧着片を有しており、
前記対の圧着片はそれぞれ、前記対の圧着片を回動させたときに前記設置面と対向する対向面と、前記対の圧着片を回動させたときに相手圧着片と突き合わされる突合せ面とを含んでおり、
前記設置面を挟んで対向する各側に設けた折部を通る仮想面が、前記対の圧着片を回動させたときに前記設置面と前記対向面とが対向する対向方向において、前記設置面よりも前記対向面に近接していることを特徴とする同軸ケーブルコネクタ。 - 前記対の圧着片を回動させたときに前記設置面と対向する対向面と、前記対の圧着片を回動させたときに相手圧着片と突き合わされる突合せ面が、互いに衝突し得る、請求項1に記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記対の圧着片の突合せ面を突き合わせて衝突させたときに、前記仮想面と前記対向面が前記折部を中心に成す角度が45度以下に設定されている、請求項1又は2に記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記設置面が配される凹陥溝を有し、前記凹陥溝の開口側に前記折部を有する、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記対の圧着片の少なくともいずれか一方の突合せ面に、前記対の圧着片を回動させたときに相手圧着片の突合せ面に設けた凸部と噛み合う凹部が設けられている、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記凹部の、前記対向面とは反対の面側に、前記凹部と前記凸部の噛み合わせ部を覆う覆い部が設けられている、請求項5に記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記対の圧着片を回動させたときに、前記対の圧着片の覆い部同士が衝突する、請求項6に記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記設置面での前記端子の前記対向方向における厚さを、前記設置面に隣接する前記端子の部分での前記対向方向における厚さと異ならしめた、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記設置面での前記端子の前記対向方向における厚さを、前記設置面に隣接する前記端子の部分での前記対向方向における厚さより小さくして、前記設置面を、前記設置面に隣接する前記端子の部分よりも前記対向面に近接させた、請求項8に記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記設置面に凹陥状の窪みを設けることによって、前記設置面での前記端子の前記対向方向における厚さを、前記設置面に隣接する前記端子の部分での前記対向方向における厚さよりも小さくした、請求項9に記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記設置面の一部に、前記対向面に向かって突出する突出部が設けられている、請求項7乃至10のいずれかに記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
