Description
実施例1として、軸受鋼(SUJ2)よりなるディスク状の試験片を用意し、Tiを含む金属材料を溶射材として大気プラズマ溶射を行い、Tiを含む溶射膜12を形成した。その際、溶射材には2種類の金属粉末を用意し、各溶射材についてそれぞれ溶射膜12を複数ずつ形成した。溶射材の1種類目の金属粉末の組成は、Ti100質量%であり、2種類目の金属粉末の組成は、Ti90質量%、アルミニウム(Al)6質量%、バナジウム(V)4質量%である。各溶射膜12を形成したのち、研磨を行い、各溶射膜12の表面粗さを調整した。表面粗さは、有効負荷粗さ(Rk)と初期摩耗高さ(Rpk)との和で表した。
実施例1と同様にして、2種類の溶射材を用い、試験片に溶射膜12をそれぞれ形成した。その際、溶射出力を5段階で変化させることにより、溶射膜12における酸素量を変化させた。作製した各試験片について、実施例1と同様にして摩擦係数を調べた。得られた結果を図4に示す。図4に示したように、溶射膜12における酸素量が少ないほど摩擦係数が小さくなる傾向が見られ、溶射膜12における酸素量を10質量%以下とすれば、摩擦係数を0.04よりも小さくすることができ好ましいことが分かった。
Claims (7)
- 添加剤としてモリブデン(Mo)を含む潤滑油環境下で摺動する摺動部材であって、
摺動部は金属材料よりなり、摺動部の表層部に、組成としてチタン(Ti)を主成分とする金属材料を溶射材として溶射することにより形成されたTiを含む溶射膜を有し、
前記溶射膜は活性なTiを有し、
前記溶射膜に含まれる酸素の存在比率は1質量%以上10質量%以下である
ことを特徴とする摺動部材。 - 前記溶射材は、Tiを60質量%以上含む金属材料であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の摺動部材。
- 前記摺動部の表面粗さは、有効負荷粗さ(Rk)と初期摩耗高さ(Rpk)との和で、3.0μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の摺動部材。
- 前記溶射膜は、大気プラズマ溶射により形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1に記載の摺動部材。
- シリンダボアであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1に記載の摺動部材。
- 添加剤としてモリブデン(Mo)を含む潤滑油環境下で摺動する摺動部材の製造方法であって、
金属材料よりなる摺動部の表面に、組成としてチタン(Ti)を含む金属材料を溶射材として溶射し、摺動部の表層部にTiを含む溶射膜を形成する溶射膜形成工程を含み、
前記溶射膜は活性なTiを有し、
前記溶射膜に含まれる酸素の存在比率は1質量%以上10質量%以下である
ことを特徴とする摺動部材の製造方法。 - 前記溶射膜形成工程では、大気プラズマ溶射により溶射膜を形成することを特徴とする請求項6記載の摺動部材の製造方法。
