Description
(A)帯状の極板に、貫通孔を形成する工程と、
(B)帯状の極板を、幅方向に沿って切断する工程と
を含み、
工程(A)において、貫通孔は、帯状の極板の幅方向に延びる切断線上の位置に形成され、工程(B)は、切断線に沿って配置された複数の切断刃によって行われ、複数の切断刃のうち少なくとも一つの切断刃における幅方向の一端は、貫通孔の位置に配置されている。

Claims (7)
- 帯状の極板を所定の寸法に切断する電池用極板の製造方法であって、
(A)前記帯状の極板に、貫通孔を形成する工程と、
(B)前記帯状の極板を、幅方向に沿って切断する工程と
を含み、
前記工程(A)において、前記貫通孔は、前記帯状の極板の幅方向に延びる切断線上の位置に形成され、
前記工程(B)は、前記切断線に沿って配置された複数の切断刃によって行われ、
前記切断刃のうち少なくとも一つの刃の前記幅方向の一端を、前記貫通孔上の位置に配置して切断する、電池用極板の製造方法。 - 前記工程(B)における切断は、パンチとダイとのクリアランスが3μm以下の金型を用いて行われる、請求項1に記載の電池用極板の製造方法。
- 前記帯状の極板の幅方向の長さは、100mm以上である、請求項1または2に記載の電池用極板の製造方法。
- 前記貫通孔は、前記帯状の極板の長手方向における長さが4mm以下である、請求項1~3の何れかに記載の電池用極板の製造方法。
- 前記極板は、正極板又は負極板、若しくは、正極板又は負極板とセパレータとが積層された積層体を含む、請求項1~3の何れかに記載の電池用極板の製造方法。
- 前記帯状の極板は、幅方向の一端部において、複数のタブが、長手方向に沿って所定の間隔で形成されており、
前記タブは、前記切断線上の位置に形成された前記貫通孔よりも、前記切断線から長手方向に離れた位置に形成されている、請求項1または2に記載の電池用極板の製造方法。 - 正極板と負極板とを有する電極体を備えた電池の製造方法であって、
前記正極板または前記負極板は、請求項1~6の何れかに記載の電池用極板の製造方法
によって製造される、電池の製造方法。
