Claims (15)
- 正極集電体に正極活物質層が形成された正極板と、
負極集電体に負極活物質層が形成された負極板と、
前記正極板と前記負極板との間に介在された分離膜とを含む単位セルを少なくとも1つ含み、
前記単位セルのうちいずれか1つにおいて、前記正極板と前記分離膜との間に一端部が位置し、他端部が前記単位セルの外部に延びている正極側金属端子と、
前記正極側金属端子を備える単位セルにおいて、前記負極板と前記分離膜との間に一端部が位置し、他端部が前記単位セルの外部に延びている負極側金属端子とを含み、
前記正極板に形成された正極タブ及び前記正極タブに一端部が連結された正極リードと、
前記負極板に形成された負極タブ及び前記負極タブに一端部が連結された負極リードとをさらに含み、
前記正極側金属端子の他端部と前記負極側金属端子の他端部とを互いに電気的に接触させて前記単位セルの内部短絡を起こす用途で使用される、内部短絡試験用二次電池。 - 前記単位セル及び電解液を収容して封止するパウチ型の電池ケースをさらに含み、
前記正極リード、前記負極リード、前記正極側金属端子及び前記負極側金属端子の他端部が前記電池ケースの外部に露出している、請求項1に記載の内部短絡試験用二次電池。 - 前記正極側金属端子と前記負極側金属端子との相互または前記正極側金属端子と前記負極側金属端子と前記正極リードと前記負極リードとの相互を目視で区別できるように形成された、請求項2に記載の内部短絡試験用二次電池。
- 前記正極側金属端子は、前記一端部が前記正極集電体に位置する正極側第1金属端子及び前記一端部が前記正極活物質層に位置する正極側第2金属端子のうち少なくともいずれか1つであり、前記負極側金属端子は、前記一端部が前記負極集電体に位置する負極側第1金属端子及び前記一端部が前記負極活物質層に位置する負極側第2金属端子のうち少なくともいずれか1つである、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の内部短絡試験用二次電池。
- 前記単位セルは複数であり、そのうち1つの単位セルのみに前記正極側金属端子及び前記負極側金属端子が含まれる、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の内部短絡試験用二次電池。
- 前記単位セルは複数であり、そのうち1つの単位セルに前記正極側第1金属端子と正極側第2金属端子のいずれか一方及び前記負極側第1金属端子と負極側第2金属端子のいずれか一方が含まれ、他の単位セルに前記正極側第1金属端子と正極側第2金属端子の他方及び前記負極側第1金属端子と負極側第2金属端子の他方が含まれる、請求項4に記載の内部短絡試験用二次電池。
- 前記正極側金属端子の一端部と負極側金属端子の一端部とは、前記単位セルの内部で垂直方向に同じ位置に整列され、前記正極側金属端子の他端部と負極側金属端子の他端部とは、前記単位セルの外部で水平方向に互いに離隔するように形成された、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の内部短絡試験用二次電池。
- 前記正極側金属端子及び前記負極側金属端子は、平面上で折り曲げられた形態で設けられた、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の内部短絡試験用二次電池。
- 正極集電体に正極活物質層が形成された正極板と、
負極集電体に負極活物質層が形成された負極板と、
前記正極板と前記負極板との間に介在された分離膜とを含む単位セルを少なくとも1つ含む二次電池であって、
前記正極板に形成された正極タブ及び前記正極タブに一端部が連結された正極リードと、
前記負極板に形成された負極タブ及び前記負極タブに一端部が連結された負極リードとをさらに含む二次電池に対し、
(a)前記単位セルのうちいずれか1つにおいて、前記正極板と前記分離膜との間に一端部が位置し、他端部が前記単位セルの外部に延びている正極側金属端子を設ける段階と、
(b)前記正極側金属端子を備える単位セルにおいて、前記負極板と前記分離膜との間に一端部が位置し、他端部が前記単位セルの外部に延びている負極側金属端子を設ける段階と、
(c)前記正極側金属端子の他端部と前記負極側金属端子の他端部とを互いに電気的に接触させて前記単位セルの内部短絡を起こす段階とを含む、二次電池の内部短絡試験方法。 - 前記(c)の段階は、
スイッチ及び抵抗を含む短絡回路を、前記スイッチがターンオフした状態で前記正極側金属端子と前記負極側金属端子とに連結する段階と、
前記スイッチをターンオンさせて前記単位セルの内部短絡を起こし、前記短絡回路に流れる電流を測定する段階とを含む、請求項9に記載の二次電池の内部短絡試験方法。 - 前記二次電池は、
前記単位セル及び電解液を収容して封止するパウチ型の電池ケースをさらに含み、
前記正極リード、前記負極リード、前記正極側金属端子及び前記負極側金属端子の他端部が前記電池ケースの外部に露出しているものであり、
前記(c)の段階で内部短絡を起こす間に、前記正極リードと前記負極リードとの間の電圧を測定する段階をさらに含む、請求項9又は10に記載の二次電池の内部短絡試験方法。 - 前記正極リードと前記負極リードとの間に電源を連結して前記二次電池を充電するか、又は、前記正極リードと前記負極リードとの間に負荷を連結して前記二次電池を放電する間に、前記(c)の段階を行う、請求項11に記載の二次電池の内部短絡試験方法。
- 前記正極側金属端子は、前記一端部が前記正極集電体に位置する正極側第1金属端子及び前記一端部が前記正極活物質層に位置する正極側第2金属端子のうち少なくともいずれか1つであり、前記負極側金属端子は、前記一端部が前記負極集電体に位置する負極側第1金属端子及び前記一端部が前記負極活物質層に位置する負極側第2金属端子のうち少なくともいずれか1つになるように設ける、請求項9から11のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池の内部短絡試験方法。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の内部短絡試験用二次電池をローディング可能な防爆チャンバーと、
スイッチ及び抵抗を含み、前記内部短絡試験用二次電池の正極側金属端子及び負極側金属端子に連結される短絡回路と、
前記短絡回路に流れる電流を測定する計測器と、
前記スイッチのオン-オフを制御する制御器とを含む、二次電池の内部短絡試験装置。 - 前記内部短絡試験用二次電池の正極リードと負極リードとの間に連結される電源または負荷と、
前記正極リードと前記負極リードとの間の電圧を測定する計測器とをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の二次電池の内部短絡試験装置。
