Claims (7)
- ゲート信号及びデータ電圧を受信して、階調を表示する複数のピクセルを含む表示パネルと、
前記ゲート信号を、前記表示パネルに出力するゲート駆動部と、
前記表示パネル内における複数の前記ピクセルの位置に応じて、互いに異なるスルーレートを有する前記データ電圧を、前記表示パネルに出力するデータ駆動部と、
を含み、
前記データ電圧の前記スルーレートは、前記データ駆動部から前記ピクセルまでの距離が遠くなるほど増加し、
前記データ電圧の前記スルーレートは、前記ゲート駆動部から出力される前記ゲート信号の前記表示パネル内における信号遅延が大きい領域ほど増加することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記データ電圧の前記スルーレートは、前記データ駆動部から前記ピクセルまでの距離が遠くなるほど線形的に増加することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記データ電圧の前記スルーレートは、前記データ駆動部から前記ピクセルまでの距離が遠くなるほど非線形的に増加し、
前記スルーレートの増加幅は、前記データ駆動部から前記ピクセルまでの距離が遠くなるほど増加することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記データ電圧の前記スルーレートは、前記表示パネル内における複数の前記ピクセルの位置、及び前記表示パネルが表示する映像のパターンによって決定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 同一フレーム内において、前記表示パネルが表示する前記映像の前記パターンによって、前記データ駆動部に接続される1つのデータラインに出力される前記データ電圧が増加及び減少を繰り返す場合、前記データラインに出力される前記データ電圧の前記スルーレートは、前記データライン内における位置が前記データ駆動部から近いほど、減少することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の表示装置。
- ゲート信号及びデータ電圧を受信して、階調を表示する複数のピクセルを含む表示パネルと、
前記ゲート信号を、前記表示パネルに出力するゲート駆動部と、
前記表示パネル内における複数の前記ピクセルの位置に応じて、互いに異なるスルーレートを有する前記データ電圧を、前記表示パネルに出力するデータ駆動部と、
を含み、
前記データ電圧の前記スルーレートは、前記データ駆動部から前記ピクセルまでの距離が遠くなるほど増加し、
前記ゲート駆動部に含まれる複数のステージのそれぞれにゲートクロック信号を出力するタイミングコントローラを、更に含み、
前記ゲートクロック信号は、前記タイミングコントローラから前記複数のステージのそれぞれまでの距離に応じて、互いに異なるスルーレートを有し、
前記複数のステージのそれぞれは、前記表示パネル内に設けられる複数のゲートラインに1対1で電気的に接続され、
前記複数のステージのうち、前記タイミングコントローラ及び前記データ駆動部からの距離が近いステージほど、前記データ駆動部からの距離が近いゲートラインに電気的に接続され、
前記複数のステージのそれぞれに入力される前記ゲートクロック信号に基づき、前記複数のステージのそれぞれは、前記複数のステージのそれぞれに電気的に接続された前記ゲートラインに、前記ゲート信号を出力する、ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記ゲートクロック信号の前記スルーレートは、前記タイミングコントローラからステージまでの距離が遠くなるほど増加することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の表示装置。
