Abstract
本发明公开了一种显示面板的驱动方法、驱动芯片及显示装置,该方法包括在每帧显示时间段内,对显示面板中连接到同一条数据线的多个像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号,可以缓解一帧显示时间内由于数据线不同位置寄生电容带来的不同行像素电极充电延迟的差别,使得数据信号从靠近数据线的信号输入端至远离数据线的信号输入端的方向传输至对应的像素电极时具有相似的延迟,进而保证同一条数据线对连接的多个像素电极具有相近的充电时间,从而提高了显示面板的显示亮度的均匀性。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种显示面板的驱动方法、驱动芯片及显示装置。
背景技术
液晶显示器具有功耗低、显示质量高、无电磁辐射以及应用范围广等优点,是目前较为重要的显示器件。
对于液晶显示器,其具体的显示过程为:在每帧显示时间段内,栅线驱动电路生成的栅线扫描信号经过栅线的传输,依序逐行将与每一行像素电极连接的薄膜晶体管开启;在各行像素电极连接的薄膜晶体管开启时,数据线驱动电路生成的数据信号经过各条数据线的传输至各像素电极进行充电,以显示不同的灰阶。由于数据线会与其他部件之间存在交叠区域,在数据线上产生寄生电容,导致数据线上的数据信号传输延迟。
如图1所示,将液晶显示器的显示区域分为A、B和C三个区域,其中,A、B、C区域与数据线的信号输入端之间的距离依次递增。如图2所示,向贯穿A、B和C三个区域的同一条数据线S2上连接的多个像素电极加载相同的数据信号S2d,由于数据线S2在不同位置的寄生电容不同,使得数据信号S2d传输至位于B区域时实际数据信号S2B的延迟大于传输至A区域时实际的数据信号S2A的延迟,数据信号S2d传输至位于C区域时实际数据信号S2C的延迟大于传输至B区域时实际的数据信号S2B的延迟,这样在位于A、B和C三个区域的栅线分别依次加载栅线扫描信号GA、GB、GC时,通过数据线S2对于A、B和C三个区域内的像素电极充入信号的充电时间也不同,其中,在A区域的像素电极充入信号PA的充电时间最长,在B区域的像素电极充入信号PB的充电时间次之,在C区域的像素电极充入信号PC的充电时间最短,导致C区域的显示亮度最暗。
因此,在对像素电极进行充电的过程中,加载到像素电极上的数据信号存在的延迟现象,致使在一帧时间内不同行像素电极充电延迟的差别,导致显示亮度不均匀的问题,从而严重影响液晶显示器的显示品质。并且随着液晶显示面板朝着大屏幕和高分辨率方向的发展,使得数据信号在数据线上的传输延迟差异更加严重,进一步加剧显示亮度不均匀的问题。
因此,如何改善显示面板的显示亮度不均匀的问题,是本领域技术人员亟需解决的技术问题。
发明内容
本发明实施例提供一种显示面板的驱动方法、驱动芯片及显示装置,用以解决现有技术中存在因数据信号延迟导致显示亮度不均匀的问题。
因此,本发明实施例提供的一种显示面板的驱动方法,包括:
在每帧显示时间段内,对显示面板中连接到同一条数据线的多个像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号。
在一种可能的实现方式中,在本发明实施例提供的上述显示面板的驱动方法中,所述显示面板按照所述数据线的延伸方向预先被划分为N个区域,每个区域内至少包含一条栅线;所述对显示面板中连接到同一条数据线的多个像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号,具体包括:
在每帧显示时间段内,在各所述区域内包含的所述栅线逐行开启时,对第一区域到第N个区域对应的像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号;在同一所述区域内包含的所述栅线开启时,对所述区域对应的像素电极分别加载相同压摆率的数据信号;其中,N为大于等于2且小于或等于栅线数量的整数,所述第一区域为所述显示面板中距离所述数据线的信号输入端最近的区域,所述第N个区域为所述显示面板中距离所述数据线的信号输入端最远的区域。

下面结合附图,对本发明实施例提供的显示面板的驱动方法、驱动芯片及显示装置的具体实施方式进行详细地说明。
本发明实施例提供了一种显示面板的驱动方法,如图3所示,包括:

具体地,由于在本发明实施例提供的上述显示面板的驱动方法中,对显示面板中连接到同一条数据线的多个像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号,因此,可以缓解一帧显示时间内由于数据线不同位置寄生电容带来的不同行像素电极充电延迟的差别,使得数据信号从靠近数据线的信号输入端至远离数据线的信号输入端的方向传输至对应的像素电极处时具有相似的相位延迟,进而保证同一条数据线对连接的多个像素电极具有相近的充电时间,从而提高了显示面板的显示亮度的均匀性。
在具体实施时,在本发明实施例提供的上述显示面板的驱动方法中,为了便于对数据信号进行压摆率的调节,具体地,可以将显示面板按照数据线的延伸方向预先划分为N个区域,其中,每个区域内至少包含一条栅线;此时,在每帧显示时间段内,在各区域内包含的栅线逐行开启时,可以对第一区域到第N个区域对应的像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号;并且,在同一区域内包含的栅线开启时,对该区域对应的像素电极分别加载相同压摆率的数据信号;其中,N为大于等于2且小于或等于栅线数量的整数,第一区域为显示面板中距离数据线的信号输入端最近的区域,第N个区域为显示面板中距离数据线的信号输入端最远的区域。
例如,如图4所示,将显示面板划分为a、b、c三个区域,每个区域包含两条栅线,其中,a区域为显示面板中距离数据线S2的信号输入端最近的区域,即第一区域;c区域为显示面板中距离数据线S2的信号输入端最远的区域。在每帧显示时间段内,a、b、c三个区域内包含的栅线G1至G6逐行开启,如图5所示,可以对a区域对应的像素电极加载相同压摆率的数据信号S2a,对b区域对应的像素电极加载相同压摆率的数据信号S2b,对c区域对应的像素电极加载相同压摆率的数据信号S2c,且数据信号S2c的压摆率大于数据信号S2b的压摆率,数据信号S2b的压摆率大于数据信号S2a的压摆率。
上述仅是以显示面板分为三个区域为例进行说明,在具体实施时,显示面板按照数据线S2的延伸方向也可以预先被划分为两个或大于三个的区域,且区域的最大数量等于栅线的数量,即一个区域仅包含一条栅线。
在具体实施时,在本发明实施例提供的上述显示面板的驱动方法中,为了有效提高显示面板的显示亮度的均匀性,可以将显示面板按照数据线的延伸方向预先等分为N各区域,每个区域内包含的栅线数量最好一致,具体地,如图4所示,显示面板被等分为三个区域,每个区域内均包含两条栅线。当然,依据显示面板中栅线数量的不同,每个区域内可以包含任意相同条数的栅线,在此不做限定。
在具体实施时,在本发明实施例提供的上述显示面板的驱动方法中,为了有效地减小各区域对应的像素电极充电时间的差异,在每帧显示时间段内,在各区域内包含的栅线逐行开启时,对第一区域到第N个区域对应的像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号,可以具体包括:

在具体实施时,在本发明实施例提供的上述显示面板的驱动方法中,对显示面板中的连接到同一条数据线的多个像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号,可以具体通过下述方式实现:

具体地,如图5所示,在每帧显示时间段内,对数据线S2上连接的位于a区域内的像素电极加载的数据信号为S2a、对b区域内的像素电极加载的数据信号为S2b、以及对c区域内的像素电极加载的数据信号为S2c,且数据信号S2c的上升沿Uc所占时间小于数据信号S2b的上升沿Ub所占时间,数据信号S2b的上升沿Ub所占时间又小于数据线号S2a的上升沿Ua所占时间。这样,传输至a区域中的像素电极处的实际数据信号S2a’、传输至b区域中的像素电极处的实际数据信号S2b’、以及传输至c区域中的像素电极处的实际数据信号S2c’具有相似的相位延迟,使得a区域的像素电极充入信号Pa的充电时间、b区域的像素电极充入信号Pb的充电时间、以及c区域的像素电极充入信号Pc的充电时间的差异很小,从而可以较好地改善各区域像素的显示亮度的差异,进而可以提高显示面板的显示亮度的均匀性。
具体地,在本发明实施例提供的上述显示面板的驱动方法中,在每帧显示时间段内,加载的数据信号S2a的最长上升沿Ua所占时间可以为数据信号的30%。对应地,加载的数据信号S2c的最短上升沿Uc所占时间可以为数据信号的1%。这样,可以保证整个显示面板中的各像素电极的充电时间相近,从而可以保证整个显示面板的显示亮度均匀。
基于同一发明构思,本发明实施例还提供了一种驱动芯片,可以提供上述显示面板的驱动方法所需的数据信号。该驱动芯片的实施可以参见上述显示面板的驱动方法的实施例,重复之处不再赘述。
基于同一发明构思,本发明实施例还提供了一种显示装置,包括上述驱动芯片。该显示装置可以为:手机、平板电脑、电视机、显示器、笔记本电脑、数码相框、导航仪等任何具有显示功能的产品或部件。该显示装置的实施可以参见上述驱动芯片的实施例,重复之处不再赘述。
本发明实施例提供的上述显示面板的驱动方法、驱动芯片及显示装置,该方法包括在每帧显示时间段内,对显示面板中连接到同一条数据线的多个像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号,可以缓解一帧显示时间内由于数据线不同位置寄生电容带来的不同行像素电极充电延迟的差别,使得数据信号从靠近数据线的信号输入端至远离数据线的信号输入端的方向传输至对应的像素电极处时具有相似的相位延迟,进而保证同一条数据线上连接的多个像素电极具有相近的充电时间,从而提高了显示面板的显示亮度的均匀性。
显然,本领域的技术人员可以对本发明进行各种改动和变型而不脱离本发明的精神和范围。这样,倘若本发明的这些修改和变型属于本发明权利要求及其等同技术的范围之内,则本发明也意图包含这些改动和变型在内。
Claims (8)
1.一种显示面板的驱动方法,其特征在于,包括:
所述显示面板按照数据线的延伸方向预先被划分为N个区域,每个区域内至少包含一条栅线;
在每帧显示时间段内,在各所述区域内包含的所述栅线逐行开启时,对第一区域到第N个区域对应的像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号;在同一所述区域内包含的所述栅线开启时,对所述区域对应的像素电极分别加载相同压摆率的数据信号;其中,N为大于等于2且小于或等于栅线数量的整数,所述第一区域为所述显示面板中距离所述数据线的信号输入端最近的区域,所述第N个区域为所述显示面板中距离所述数据线的信号输入端最远的区域。
2.如权利要求1所述的显示面板的驱动方法,其特征在于,每个区域内包含的栅线数量一致。
3.如权利要求2所述的显示面板的驱动方法,其特征在于,在每帧显示时间段内,在各所述区域内包含的所述栅线逐行开启时,对所述第一区域到第N个区域对应的像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号,具体包括:
在每帧显示时间段内,在各所述区域内包含的所述栅线逐行开启时,对所述第一区域到第N个区域对应的像素电极分别加载压摆率等比例递增的数据信号。
4.如权利要求1-3任一项所述的显示面板的驱动方法,其特征在于,所述对显示面板中连接到同一条数据线的多个像素电极分别加载压摆率递增的数据信号,具体包括:
在每帧显示时间段内,对所述显示面板中连接到同一条数据线的多个像素电极分别加载上升沿所占时间逐渐缩短的数据信号。
5.如权利要求4所述的显示面板的驱动方法,其特征在于,在每帧显示时间段内,加载的所述数据信号的最长上升沿所占时间为所述数据信号的30%。
6.如权利要求5所述的显示面板的驱动方法,其特征在于,在每帧显示时间段内,加载的所述数据信号的最短上升沿所占时间为所述数据信号的1%。
7.一种驱动芯片,其特征在于,提供如权利要求1-6任一项所述的显示面板的驱动方法所需的数据信号。
8.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括如权利要求7所述的驱动芯片。
