Description
Claims (11)
- 大電流の経路内で相互直列接続した複数のセルスタックの過充電を防止するための装置であって、
前記複数のセルスタックにおける各セルスタックの電圧を測定し、測定された電圧を示す第1モニタリング信号を生成する電圧測定部と、
前記各セルスタックの代わりに前記大電流の経路を構成するバイパス経路を選択的に提供するように構成された電流調整部と、
前記大電流の経路から選択的に前記各セルスタックを電気的に分離する断路部と、
前記電圧測定部及び前記電流調整部と通信可能に接続するコントローラと、
前記各セルスタックに提供されるバイパス経路を通して流れる充電電流に応じて、前記断路部によって前記大電流の経路から電気的に分離されている各セルスタックに放電経路を提供する放電誘導部と、を含み、
前記コントローラが、前記電圧測定部からの第1モニタリング信号に基づき、前記電流調整部を制御する過充電防止装置。 - 前記コントローラが、前記電圧測定部からの第1モニタリング信号に基づき、前記複数のセルスタックのうち過充電されたセルスタックが存在するかを判定し、
過充電されたセルスタックが存在する場合、過充電されたセルスタックにバイパス経路を提供するように前記電流調整部を制御する請求項1に記載の過充電防止装置。 - 前記電流調整部が、複数のバイパス回路を含み、
前記複数のバイパス回路における各バイパス回路が、前記各セルスタックに並列接続した複数のバイパススイッチを含む請求項1または2に記載の過充電防止装置。 - 前記コントローラが、前記電圧測定部からの第1モニタリング信号に基づき、前記複数のセルスタックのうち過充電されたセルスタックが存在するかを判定し、
過充電されたセルスタックが存在する場合、前記過充電されたセルスタックに並列接続した複数のバイパススイッチのうち少なくとも一つをオン状態に制御する請求項3に記載の過充電防止装置。 - 前記各セルスタックに供給される充電電流を測定し、測定された充電電流を示す第2モニタリング信号を生成する電流測定部をさらに含む請求項4に記載の過充電防止装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記電圧測定部からの第1モニタリング信号及び前記電流測定部からの第2モニタリング信号に基づき、前記複数のセルスタックのうち少なくとも一つの内部抵抗値を算出する請求項5に記載の過充電防止装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記過充電されたセルスタックに並列接続した複数のバイパススイッチうち、前記過充電されたセルスタックの内部抵抗値に対応する個数のバイパススイッチをオン状態に制御し、残りのバイパススイッチをオフ状態に制御する請求項6に記載の過充電防止装置。
- 前記各セルスタックを冷却するように構成された冷却部をさらに含み、
前記冷却部が、各々前記各セルスタックに提供されたバイパス経路を通して供給される充電電流によって動作し、前記各セルスタックを冷却する複数の冷却素子を含む請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の過充電防止装置。 - 前記複数の冷却素子における各冷却素子が、吸熱部及び放熱部を有し、前記吸熱部が前記放熱部よりも前記各セルスタックに隣接するように配置されたペルチェ素子である請求項8に記載の過充電防止装置。
- 前記電圧測定部が、各々前記各セルスタックに並列接続した複数の電圧センサーを含む請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の過充電防止装置。
- 請求項1から請求項10のうちいずれか一項に記載の過充電防止装置と、
相互直列接続する複数のセルスタックと、を含み、
前記過充電防止装置は、前記各セルスタックに対する過充電防止動作を行うバッテリーパック。
