Description
(1)吸気マニホールド20は、空気が流入する流入口23と左右方向に沿って配列された空気が流出する複数の流出口26とを有するとともに、左右方向に延設されて流入口23と複数の流出口26との間で流入口23よりも断面積が大きい空間SPを形成するサージタンク21と、一端部が複数の流出口26にそれぞれ接続され、エンジン1の複数の気筒1aに空気を導く複数の分岐管22と、を備える(図1,3)。空間SPは、それぞれ左右方向に延在する平面状または曲面状のサージタンク21の底面211と、底面211に対向する上面212と、底面211と上面212との間にそれぞれ配置される前面213および後面214とによって形成される(図2)。流入口23は、前後方向に延在する入口通路24に沿って空間SP内に空気が流入するようにサージタンク21の前面213の左右方向略中央部に設けられる(図3)。底面211は、左右方向における略中央部に、上方に膨出する膨出部217を有する(図3)。

Claims (7)
- 空気が流入する流入口と、第1方向に沿って配列された空気が流出する複数の流出口と、を有し、前記第1方向に延設され、前記流入口と前記複数の流出口との間で、前記流入口よりも断面積が大きい空間を形成するサージタンクと、
一端部が前記複数の流出口にそれぞれ接続され、内燃機関の複数の気筒に空気を導く複数の分岐管と、を備え、
前記空間は、それぞれ前記第1方向に延在する平面状または曲面状の前記サージタンクの底面と、前記底面に対向する上面と、前記底面と前記上面との間にそれぞれ配置される第1側面および第2側面とによって形成され、
前記流入口は、前記第1方向に略直交する第2方向に沿って前記空間内に空気が流入するように前記第1側面の前記第1方向における略中央部に設けられ、かつ、
前記底面は、前記第1方向における略中央部に、上方に突出する突出部を有することを特徴とする吸気マニホールド。 - 請求項1に記載の吸気マニホールドにおいて、
前記突出部は、前記第1方向における第1位置から第2位置にかけて設けられ、前記流入口は、前記第1方向における前記第1位置と前記第2位置との間に設けられることを特徴とする吸気マニホールド。 - 請求項1または2に記載の吸気マニホールドにおいて、
前記上面は、還流通路に接続されるとともに、前記還流通路を介して導かれた前記内燃機関からの還流ガスの一部が前記空間内に流入するように前記突出部の上方に設けられた還流ガス流入口を有することを特徴とする吸気マニホールド。 - 請求項3に記載の吸気マニホールドにおいて、
前記還流通路は、前記還流ガス流入口から前記第1方向の一端側に延在し、
前記還流ガス流入口は、その前記第1方向における中心位置が前記流入口の前記第1方向における中心位置よりも前記第1方向の一端側にずれるように設けられることを特徴とする吸気マニホールド。 - 請求項4に記載の吸気マニホールドにおいて、
前記流入口は、その前記第1方向における前記中心位置が前記複数の流出口の前記第1方向における中心位置よりも前記第1方向の一端側にずれるように設けられることを特徴とする吸気マニホールド。 - 請求項5に記載の吸気マニホールドにおいて、
前記突出部は、その前記第1方向における前記中心位置が前記流入口の前記第1方向における前記中心位置よりも前記第1方向の他端側にずれるように設けられることを特徴とする吸気マニホールド。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の吸気マニホールドにおいて、
前記複数の流出口は、前記第1方向における前記流入口を挟んだ一端側および他端側に、互いに同数分けて配置されることを特徴とする吸気マニホールド。
