Description
最初に、図1乃至図4を参照して、本発明の第1実施形態に係る車載入力装置100の構造について説明する。図1は、車載入力装置100の外観を示す斜視図であり、図2は、車両のステアリングホイール60に取り付けられた車載入力装置100を示す平面図である。また、図3は、車載入力装置100の一部を拡大して示す部分平面図であり、図4は、車載入力装置100の一部を拡大して示す部分断面図であり、図4(a)は、車載入力装置100の一部を第1検知手段として使用した場合の部分断面図であり、図4(b)は、車載入力装置100の一部を第2検知手段として使用した場合の部分断面図である。尚、図4(a)及び図4(b)は、図3に示すA−A線から見た断面図である。また、図4(a)及び図4(b)において、操作領域15bを操作者の手指65が押圧操作した際の状態を2点鎖線で示している。これは、今後説明する、車載入力装置110、車載入力装置200、及び車載入力装置300においても同様である。
次に、図2及び図5を参照して、本発明の第1実施形態の変形例の車載入力装置110の構造及び操作内容について説明する。図5は、車載入力装置110の一部を拡大して示す部分断面図である。
次に、図2、図6及び図7を参照して、本発明の第2実施形態の車載入力装置200の構造及び操作内容について説明する。図6は、車載入力装置200の一部を拡大して示す部分平面図である。また、図7は、車載入力装置200の一部を拡大して示す部分断面図であり、図7(a)は、第1操作領域25bを含む車載入力装置200の一部の部分断面図であり、図7(b)は、車載入力装置200の第1操作領域25bを第1検知手段として使用し、第2操作領域25cを第2検知手段として使用した場合の部分断面図である。尚、図7(a)は、図6に示すB−B線から見た断面図であり、図7(b)は、図6に示すC−C線から見た断面図である。
次に、図2、図8及び図9を参照して、本発明の第3実施形態の車載入力装置300の構造及び操作内容について説明する。図8は、車載入力装置300の一部を拡大して示す部分平面図であり、図9は、車載入力装置300の一部を拡大して示す部分断面図である。尚、図9は、図8に示すD−D線から見た断面図である。

Claims (6)
- 下部電極と、前記下部電極に対向するように設けられた上部電極と、前記下部電極と前記上部電極との間に設けられたスペーサ部材と、を有したタッチパネルを備え、前記下部電極と前記上部電極との間の静電容量を検知可能な車載入力装置であって、
前記タッチパネルは、車両のステアリングホイールに搭載されるものであり、
前記上部電極の上側には複数の操作領域を有する操作面が設けられていて、
前記スペーサ部材には、平面視で前記操作領域と重なる部分に開口部が形成されており、前記操作面と前記上部電極との間、又は前記操作面の上面に、操作者と前記上部電極との間に静電容量が形成されることを抑制する層であって前記上部電極と別個の上側抑制層が設けられ、
前記下部電極の下側に、前記タッチパネルの下方側において、操作者と前記下部電極との間に静電容量が形成されることを抑制する層であって前記下部電極と別個の下側抑制層が設けられており、
前記操作領域が操作者によって押圧された時にのみ、前記下部電極と前記上部電極との間の距離の変化に基づいて入力操作を検知する、
ことを特徴とする車載入力装置。 - 前記操作領域が操作者によって押圧され、前記下部電極と前記上部電極とが接触した時に入力操作を検知する第1検知手段と、
前記操作領域が操作者によって押圧された時に、前記下部電極と前記上部電極との間の距離の変化に伴う静電容量の変化に基づいて入力操作を検知する第2検知手段と、を用いることが可能である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車載入力装置。 - 前記第1検知手段によって前記操作領域のスイッチ操作を検知し、前記第2検知手段によって前記操作領域のスライド操作を検知する、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車載入力装置。 - 前記操作面に第1操作領域と第2操作領域とを設けると共に、前記スペーサ部材に、前記第1操作領域に対応した第1開口部と前記第2操作領域に対応した第2開口部とを設け、
前記第1操作領域が操作された後の所定時間内に前記第2操作領域が操作された時に、フリック操作されたと判定する、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の車載入力装置。 - 前記操作面に複数の第3操作領域を設けると共に、前記スペーサ部材に、複数の前記第3操作領域それぞれに対応した第3開口部を設け、
複数の前記第3開口部それぞれに弾性部材を充填すると共に、複数の前記第3操作領域それぞれを、前記操作面から上方向に突出する凸部とした、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の車載入力装置。 - 前記下部電極と前記上部電極との対向する面の少なくとも1つの面に、前記開口部へ突出する導電性を有する接点部材を設けた、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の車載入力装置。
