Claims (18)
- 構造物用複合材を作成するための方法であって、
(a)第1のキャリアを提供するステップと、
(b)前記第1のキャリアの上に充填剤を分配するステップと、
(c)前記充填剤の上に前記第1のキャリアと化学的に結合する結合剤を被着するステップと、
(d)前記第1のキャリア、前記充填剤及び前記結合剤の上に布地である第2のキャリアを被着するステップと、
(e)前記第1のキャリア、前記充填剤、前記結合剤及び前記第2のキャリアを加熱するステップと、
(f)前記第1のキャリア、前記充填剤、前記結合剤及び前記第2のキャリアをともにプレスするステップであって、前記結合剤は液化して前記充填剤及び前記第2のキャリアに浸透し、かつ前記第1のキャリア、前記充填剤及び前記結合剤が冷却するにつれて前記結合剤は前記充填剤及び前記第2のキャリアと物理的に結合して補剛層を形成するステップと、
(g)前記補剛層を強度を提供する形状に形成するステップと、
(h)クロスヘッドダイを通じて前記補剛層の上にポリマーを押し出すステップであって、前記ポリマーは前記補剛層を被覆し、前記ポリマーは前記補剛層と化学的に結合し、かつ、前記クロスヘッドダイは前記ポリマーに対して前記補剛層を配置して前記ポリマーを強化するステップと、を含む、方法。 - 前記結合剤は液体である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記結合剤は粒子である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- (a)前記補剛層を複数のストリップに切断するステップと、
(b)前記ポリマーを押し出す前に前記複数のストリップを分離するステップと、を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記構造物用複合材は、中立軸を有し、
前記ストリップは、前記構造物用複合材の中立軸から離れて反対側に配置される、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記充填剤は、繊維を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記充填剤は、合成繊維を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記充填剤は、鉱物を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記繊維は、無水石膏ウィスカである、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、ポリ塩化ビニルである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のキャリア及び前記第2のキャリアの少なくとも一方は、ポリエチレンテレフタレートから作成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のキャリア及び前記第2のキャリアの少なくとも一方は、高密度ポリエチレンから作成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記充填剤に接着剤を被着させる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 構造物用複合材を作成するための方法であって、
(a)布地である第1のキャリアを提供するステップと、
(b)前記第1のキャリアの上に熱可塑性樹脂である第2のキャリアを被着するステップと、
(c)前記第2のキャリアの上に充填剤を分散するステップと、
(d)前記充填剤の上に結合剤を分散するステップと、
(e)前記第1のキャリア、前記結合剤、前記充填剤及び前記第2のキャリアを加熱して、前記第1のキャリア及び前記結合剤を液化するステップと、
(f)前記第1のキャリア、前記第2のキャリア、前記充填剤及び前記結合剤をプレスするステップであって、前記第2のキャリア及び前記結合剤は液化して前記第1のキャリア及び前記充填剤に浸透し、前記第1のキャリア、前記結合剤、前記充填剤及び前記第2のキャリアが冷却するにつれて前記第1のキャリア及び前記充填剤は機械的に結合して補剛層を形成するステップと、
(g)ポリマーを強化するために、クロスヘッドダイを通じて前記補剛層の上に前記ポリマーを押し出して前記補剛層を配置するステップであって、前記ポリマーは前記補剛層と化学的に結合して、層間剥離に耐える構造物用複合体を形成するステップと、を含む、方法。 - 前記補剛層が冷却するにつれて前記補剛層を成形して前記構造物用複合材の剛性を増加させるステップを更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記補剛層の少なくとも1つの側で前記補剛層を型打ちするステップを更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記補剛層内に穴を形成するステップを更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記補剛層は、前記クロスヘッドダイにより成形されて、前記ポリマーを構造物用複合体として強化する、請求項14に記載の方法。
