Description
本出願は、「拡張性装置の管腔内展開で使用するための体外操縦可能な繊維」の題名で2012年3月13日に出願された米国仮出願シリアル番号第61/610372号に対する優先権を主張するものであり、前記出願は、参照によりその全てが本明細書に組み込まれる。
管腔内の治療は、小さく且つしばしば経皮的な、遠隔の血管内の接近部位を通して血管系内に移植可能な人工装置を輸送するために、送達カテーテルの挿入を典型的に含む。血管系への接近が達成されると、送達カテーテルは、幾つかの技術の内の1つによって、装置の管腔内送達及びその後の展開の媒介をするために使用される。このようにして、装置は、治療成果を達成するために遠隔的に移植され得る。従来の外科的治療法とは対照的に、管腔内の治療は、それらの「最小限の侵襲性」の特性により区別される。
Claims (15)
- カテーテルアセンブリであって、
カテーテルと、
近位端部と遠位端部とを有し、前記カテーテルの前端部の近くに配置される拡張性装置と、
複数の操縦線であって、該操縦線の端部に作用する張力に応じて前記拡張性装置を曲げるように構成され、前記近位端部から前記遠位端部へ、前記拡張性装置の表面を横切って延びかつ前記拡張性装置の表面に実質的に接触した状態を維持し、前記拡張性装置の外表面の内側湾曲部上に配置される部分と前記拡張性装置の外表面の外側湾曲部上に配置される部分とを含む螺旋パターンを含む複数の操縦線と、
を具備するカテーテルアセンブリ。 - 前記操縦線は、前記拡張性装置の近位部分及び遠位部分の少なくとも一方に沿う曲がりを形成するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記操縦線は前記拡張性装置の外表面を前記近位端部から前記遠位端部まで横切って配置されて前記拡張性装置を横切る螺旋パターンを形成する、請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記操縦線は前記拡張性装置の外表面に沿って螺旋パターンで配置されている、請求項3に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記操縦線の部分が前記拡張性装置の中心軸線に略平行に配置されている、請求項4に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記複数の操縦線は、前記近位端部において前記拡張性装置に係合するように前記カテーテルから出て、前記拡張性装置をめぐって円周方向に互いに分かれ、前記拡張性装置をめぐって円周方向に互いの方へ集まり、前記拡張性装置の前記遠位端部へ向かって直線的に互いに平行に延びる、請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記操縦線は、拡張形態にある前記拡張性装置から取り外し可能である、請求項6に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記拡張性装置が拡張形態に展開されている間に、前記操縦線は前記拡張性装置を望ましい曲げ半径に維持するように構成される、請求項6に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記拡張性装置を前記カテーテルに解放可能に結合するように構成された係止ワイヤをさらに具備する、請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記係止ワイヤは、少なくとも1本の前記操縦線を前記カテーテルに解放可能に結合するように構成される、請求項9に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記操縦線は、前記拡張性装置及びカテーテルを捩じって固定して、カテーテルの
回転によって、治療部位において装置の回転方向の位置決めを可能にする、請求項9に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。 - 前記カテーテルに結合されたハンドルをさらに具備しており、前記ハンドルは、少なくとも1本の前記操縦線の方向を使用者に示す1つ以上のマーキングを具備する、請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ハンドルは、少なくとも1本の前記操縦線に対して張力を加えるように構成された1つ以上の機構を具備する、請求項12に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記操縦線は、ナイロン、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリカーボネート、ポリエチレン、ポリホルムアルデヒド、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリプロピレン、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリトリフルオロクロロエチレン、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリウレタン、エラストマー有機ケイ素ポリマーの少なくとも1つを具備する、請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記操縦線は、前記拡張性装置の少なくとも部分を縫うように進む、請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
