Claims (5)
- 塗液収容部内における塗液を吐出させるスリット状吐出口が先端部に設けられた塗布用ノズルを被塗布体の上に配置し、この塗布用ノズルの内部における塗液収容部内に塗液供給装置から塗液を供給し、前記の被塗布体と塗布用ノズルとを相対的に移動させて、塗液収容部内における塗液を、前記のスリット状吐出口を通して被塗布体の表面に塗布する塗布装置において、前記の塗液供給装置と塗布用ノズルとの間に塗液収容部への塗液の供給と停止とを制御する制御手段と、前記の塗液収容部内における塗液を前記のスリット状吐出口を通して被塗布体の表面に塗布する塗液の塗布幅を調整する塗布幅調整手段と、前記の塗液収容部内に一定の圧力で気体を供給して塗液収容部内に貯えた塗液を吐出させる気体供給手段とを設けたことを特徴とする塗布装置。
- 請求項1に記載の塗布装置において、被塗布体と塗布用ノズルとを相対的に移動させて、塗液収容部内における塗液を、前記のスリット状吐出口を通して被塗布体の表面に塗布するにあたり、前記の塗液供給装置から前記の制御手段により塗布用ノズルにおける塗液収容部内に塗液を供給させて、塗液収容部への塗液の供給を停止させ、この状態で、前記の気体供給手段から塗液収容部内に一定の圧力で気体を供給して塗液収容部内に貯えた塗液を吐出させると共に、前記の塗布幅調整手段により、塗液収容部内に貯えた塗液を前記のスリット状吐出口を通して被塗布体の表面に塗布する塗液の塗布幅を調整することを特徴とする塗布装置。
- 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の塗布装置において、塗液供給装置から塗液収容部内へ塗液を供給するときに、前記の塗液収容部内の気体を排気させる排気弁を設けたことを特徴とする塗布装置。
- 請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載の塗布装置において、前記の塗布幅調整手段として、塗液収容部内における塗液が前記のスリット状吐出口を通して被塗布体の表面に導かれる幅を調整するスリット幅調整部材を設けたことを特徴とする塗布装置。
- 請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載の塗布装置において、前記の塗布幅調整手段として、前記の塗液収容部内における塗液を収容させる所定のパターン形状になった塗液収容凹部が外周面に設けられた円柱状の塗液供給体を前記のスリット状吐出口の上に位置するようにして回転可能に設け、この塗液供給体をスリット状吐出口の上で回転させて、塗液収容凹部内に収容された塗液を、前記のスリット状吐出口を通して塗布用ノズルと相対的に移動される被塗布体の表面に供給し、前記の被塗布体の表面に塗液収容凹部の形状に応じて塗液を塗布させることを特徴とする塗布装置。
