Claims (8)
- 自動車の車体後上部側面に配置されて車両の安定性を図るために車体後部の揚力係数(CLr)を低減する空力部品(11)が、板状のベース部(14)と、前記ベース部(14)の表面(14d)に突設されるフィン(15,16)とを備え、前記ベース部(14)は前縁(14b)側から後縁(14c)側に向けて厚さが緩やかに増加するとともに、後縁(14c)において前記車体後上部側面に対して切り立った形状を有することを特徴とする自動車用空力部品。
- 前記空力部品(11)は自動車のリヤピラー(12)の表面に配置され、直線状に形成された前記ベース部(14)の後縁(14c)は前下方から後上方に、あるいは前上方から後下方に傾斜していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の自動車用空力部品。
- 前記フィン(15,16)は前後方向に延びる複数の第1フィン(15)を含み、前記複数の第1フィン(15)は相互に平行になるように上下方向に並置されることを特徴とする、請求項1または請求項2に記載の自動車用空力部品。
- 前記フィン(15,16)は前後方向に延びる単一の第2フィン(16)を含み、前記第2フィン(16)は前記ベース部(14)の上縁(14a)に沿って配置され、前記第2フィン(16)の前後方向長さは前記第1フィン(15)の前後方向長さよりも大きいことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の自動車用空力部品。
- 前記ベース部(14)の表面(14d)および裏面(14e)が前縁(14b)において成す角度が約20゜であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜請求項4の何れか1項に記載の自動車用空力部品。
- 前記空力部品(11)により低減した車体後部の揚力係数(CLr)は、車体前部の揚力係数(CLf)に略一致することを特徴とする、請求項1〜請求項5の何れか1項に記載の自動車用空力部品。
- 前記空力部品(11)は車体に着脱自在に固定されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜請求項6の何れか1項に記載の自動車用空力部品。
- 前記空力部品(11)は車体と一体に形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜請求項6の何れか1項に記載の自動車用空力部品。
