Claims (12)
- 自動車の外装材に隣接して配置され、延在方向に直交する断面において、前記外装材に対する直交方向の高さは前記外装材に沿う方向の幅よりも大きい補強部材を備え、
前記補強部材は、
第1の方向に延在する第1の補強部材と、前記第1の方向とは異なる第2の方向に延在し、前記第1の補強部材と交差する第2の補強部材とを備え、
前記第1の補強部材と前記第2の補強部材は、外装材に倣った形状である、
衝撃吸収部材。 - 前記第1の補強部材は2本以上あり、前記第1の補強部材と前記第2の補強部材の交差部は2箇所以上ある、請求項1に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記第1の補強部材と前記第2の補強部材が前記外装材に接合された、請求項1に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記第1の補強部材と前記第2の補強部材の交差部において、前記第1の補強部材と前記第2の補強部材の前記外装材に対する直交方向の厚さが減少する、請求項3に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
- 2つの前記第1の補強部材が前記外装材側に配置された前記第1の補強部材と前記第2の補強部材の交差部の間に前記第2の補強部材が前記外装材側に配置された前記第1の補強部材と前記第2の補強部材の交差部がある請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記第1の補強部材又は前記第2の補強部材は前記外装材を横断する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記第1の補強部材あるいは前記第2の補強部材の長手方向の少なくとも1箇所には、前記外装材と反対側で支持された被支持部があり、
前記第1の補強部材あるいは前記第2の補強部材の交差部と前記被支持部の距離は、前記被支持部のある前記第1の補強部材あるいは前記第2の補強部材の長さの1/3以内である、請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の衝撃吸収部材。 - 前記被支持部は前記第1の補強部材あるいは前記第2の補強部材の端部である請求項7に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記被支持部が前記外装材以外の他部品に接合された、請求項7または請求項8に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記補強部材は、板材が折れ曲がった中空構造であり、前記外装材に隣接する第1の面と、
前記延在方向に直交する前記第1の面の幅より大きく前記第1の面から離間して配置される第2の面と、を有する、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の衝撃吸収部材。 - 前記第2の面は前記延在方向に沿って分割されている請求項10に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記補強部材は、マルテンサイト組織を備える、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
