Description
前記第1のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも4のメルカプト基のみを有し、前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも2のメルカプト基およびメルカプト基以外の少なくとも1の水素結合可能な官能基を有する、重合性組成物を提供する。
前記第1のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも4のメルカプト基のみを有し、前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも2のメルカプト基およびメルカプト基以外の少なくとも1の水素結合可能な官能基を有する、光学レンズを提供する。
一実施形態は、以下を含む、ポリチオール化合物の製造方法を提供する。(1)以下の式6で表される化合物およびメルカプトエタノールに非ヒドロ縮合反応を受けさせて以下の式7で表される化合物を得る、(2)式7で表される化合物を金属硫化物と反応させて以下の式8で表される化合物を製造する、(3)以下の式8で表される化合物をチオ尿素と塩化水素の存在中で反応させてイソチオウロニウム塩を得る、および(4)イソチオウロニウム塩を加水分解して以下の式1ないし5で表される化合物からなる群より選択される化合物を得る。

上記数式において、Xは時間(hr)であり、Yは時間に対する10℃での重合性組成物の粘度(cps)であり、Aは10℃での重合性組成物の初期粘度である。
合成例1:ポリチオール組成物の製造
実施例1
201.4gのm−キシレンジイソシアネート、2.4gの2−(2−ヒドロキシ−5−tert−オクチルフェニル)ベンゾトリアゾール、および0.22gのZelec(登録商標)UN(酸性リン酸アルキルエステル離型剤、Stepan社)を均一に混合した。176.6gの合成例1のポリチオール組成物および19.8gの合成例2のポリチオール組成物を15℃で混合し、それによって196.4gのポリチオール組成物を製造した。
第1のポリチオール化合物および第2のポリチオール化合物の含有量を下記の表1に示したように変化させたことを除いて、実施例1におけるのと同じ操作を行った。
評価例1:重合性組成物の粘度(Y)および粘度の変化(D)
実施例1ないし3ならびに比較例1および2の重合性組成物を各々脱気してろ過した。非接触粘度計(EMS−1000、京都電子工業株式会社)を用いて10℃で、初期粘度(Y、cps)および5時間後の粘度(Y、cps)を測定した。粘度の変化(D)を数式1により計算した。
実施例1ないし3ならびに比較例1および2において製造されたプラスチックレンズの性質を、下記に説明した方法に従って、各々測定した。測定結果を下記の表1に示す。
実施例1ないし3ならびに比較例1および2において製造したレンズの各々の屈折率を、株式会社アタゴによって製造された屈折率計DR−M4を用いて20℃で測定した。
実施例1ないし3ならびに比較例1および2において製造した100のレンズについて、光源として水銀ランプを用い、光をレンズを通して透過させた。透過光を白板上に投影させ、コントラストの有無を目視で検査し、脈理の発生を決定した。脈理の発生率を、(脈理を有するレンズの数/測定したレンズの数(100))*100として評価した。
以下、本願の出願当初の特許請求の範囲に記載した発明を付記する。
[1] 水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも4のメルカプト基のみを有する第1のポリチオール化合物と、
水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも2のメルカプト基およびメルカプト基以外の少なくとも1の水素結合可能な官能基を有する第2のポリチオール化合物とを含む、ポリチオール組成物。
[2] 前記ポリチオール組成物の総重量に基づいて、前記第1のポリチオール化合物を55ないし99.5重量%の量で、および前記第2のポリチオール化合物を0.5ないし45重量%の量で含む、[1]に記載のポリチオール組成物。
[3] 前記ポリチオール組成物の総重量に基づいて、前記第2のポリチオール化合物を0.5ないし12重量%の量で含む、[2]に記載のポリチオール組成物。
[4] 前記第1のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として4のメルカプト基のみを有し、
前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として2または3のメルカプト基および1または2のヒドロキシル基を有する、[1]に記載のポリチオール組成物。
[5] 前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、前記第2のポリチオール化合物の総モル量に基づいて、酸素原子を0.1ないし15モル%の量で含む、[1]に記載のポリチオール組成物。
[6] 前記第1のポリチオール化合物は下記の式1、2または3で表される化合物であり、
前記第2のポリチオール化合物は下記の式4または5で表される化合物である、[1]に記載のポリチオール組成物。
前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として2または3のメルカプト基および1または2のヒドロキシル基を有する、[1]に記載のポリチオール組成物。
[8] 第1のポリチオール化合物および第2のポリチオール化合物を含むポリチオール組成物と、ポリイソシアネート化合物とを含む、重合性組成物であって、
前記第1のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも4のメルカプト基のみを有し、
前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも2のメルカプト基およびメルカプト基以外の少なくとも1の水素結合可能な官能基を有する、重合性組成物。
[9] さらに重合触媒を含み、
下記数式1による前記重合性組成物の粘度の変化(D)が0.14ないし0.26である、[8]に記載の重合性組成物。

[10] 前記ポリイソシアネート化合物は、1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサン、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート、m−キシレンジイソシアネート、トルエンジイソシアネート、およびこれらの混合物からなる群より選択される、[8]に記載の重合性組成物。
[11] 第1のポリチオール化合物および第2のポリチオール化合物を含むポリチオール組成物とポリイソシアネート化合物とを含む重合性組成物を硬化させることによって形成されたポリチオウレタン系樹脂を含む、光学レンズであって、
前記第1のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも4のメルカプト基のみを有し、
前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも2のメルカプト基およびメルカプト基以外の少なくとも1の水素結合可能な官能基を有する、光学レンズ。
Claims (6)
- 水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも4のメルカプト基のみを有する第1のポリチオール化合物と、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも2のメルカプト基およびメルカプト基以外の少なくとも1の水素結合可能な官能基を有する第2のポリチオール化合物とを含む、ポリチオール組成物であって、
前記第1のポリチオール化合物は、下記の式1ないし3で表される化合物であり、
前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、下記の式4および5で表される化合物であり、
前記ポリチオール組成物は、前記ポリチオール組成物の総重量に基づいて、前記第1のポリチオール化合物を55ないし99.5重量%の量で、および前記第2のポリチオール化合物を0.5ないし45重量%の量で含む、ポリチオール組成物。
- 前記ポリチオール組成物の総重量に基づいて、前記第2のポリチオール化合物を0.5ないし12重量%の量で含む、請求項1に記載のポリチオール組成物。
- 第1のポリチオール化合物および第2のポリチオール化合物を含むポリチオール組成物と、ポリイソシアネート化合物とを含む、重合性組成物であって、
前記第1のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも4のメルカプト基のみを有し、
前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも2のメルカプト基およびメルカプト基以外の少なくとも1の水素結合可能な官能基を有し、
前記第1のポリチオール化合物は、下記の式1ないし3で表される化合物であり、
前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、下記の式4および5で表される化合物であり、
前記ポリチオール組成物は、前記ポリチオール組成物の総重量に基づいて、前記第1のポリチオール化合物を55ないし99.5重量%の量で、および前記第2のポリチオール化合物を0.5ないし45重量%の量で含む、重合性組成物。
- さらに重合触媒を含み、
下記式1による前記重合性組成物の粘度の変化(D)が0.14ないし0.26である、請求項3に記載の重合性組成物。

- 第1のポリチオール化合物および第2のポリチオール化合物を含むポリチオール組成物とポリイソシアネート化合物とを含む重合性組成物を硬化させることによって形成されたポリチオウレタン系樹脂を含む、光学レンズであって、
前記第1のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも4のメルカプト基のみを有し、
前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、水素結合可能な官能基として少なくとも2のメルカプト基およびメルカプト基以外の少なくとも1の水素結合可能な官能基を有し、
前記第1のポリチオール化合物は、下記の式1ないし3で表される化合物であり、
前記第2のポリチオール化合物は、下記の式4および5で表される化合物であり、
前記ポリチオール組成物は、前記ポリチオール組成物の総重量に基づいて、前記第1のポリチオール化合物を55ないし99.5重量%の量で、および前記第2のポリチオール化合物を0.5ないし45重量%の量で含む、光学レンズ。
