Claims (6)
- モル%で、Tb2O3を48%以上(ただし48%は含まない)、P 2 O 5 1〜50%、Ga 2 O 3 0〜6%を含有することを特徴とするガラス材。
- モル%で、Tb2O3の含有量が80%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス材。
- さらに、モル%で、SiO2 0〜50%、B2O3 0〜50%、Al2O3 0〜50%を含有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のガラス材。
- 磁気光学素子として用いられることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のガラス材。
- ファラデー回転素子として用いられることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のガラス材。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のガラス材を製造するための方法であって、ガラス原料塊を浮遊させて保持した状態で、前記ガラス原料塊を加熱融解させて溶融ガラスを得た後に、前記溶融ガラスを冷却する工程を備えることを特徴とする、ガラス材の製造方法。
