Description
Claims (12)
- 送風ファンを回転させる駆動源と、前記駆動源を収容するものであってハンドル部が形成されたハウジングと、前記送風ファンを収容するボリュート室と、前記ボリュート室の壁面に形成された吸込口と、前記吸込口の最外側に取り付けられたファンガードを有する携帯型のブロワであって、
前記ファンガードには、外側から前記吸込口側に向けて窪むものであって前記送風ファンの軸方向と略同心に配置された凹部が形成され、前記凹部の内側に複数の第一の風穴が形成され、前記凹部の外側に複数の第二の風穴が形成され、
前記第一の風穴が作業者によって密閉された場合であっても、第二の風穴を介して送風ファンへ外気が流れることを特徴とするブロワ。 - 前記ファンガードの前記凹部の内側に形成される第一開口領域の前記第一の風穴の総面積は、前記凹部の外側に形成される第二開口領域の前記第二の風穴の総面積より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のブロワ。
- 前記第一開口領域の前記第一の風穴は、径方向に風が流れるように前記軸方向に対して斜めに形成される開口を含んで形成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のブロワ。
- 前記第二開口領域は、前記ファンガードと一体に形成されるか、又は、別の部材側に設けられることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のブロワ。
- 前記送風ファンは遠心式であって、前記送風ファンの軸方向と直交方向にみて、前記第一開口領域の外縁位置は前記吸込口の外縁位置よりも径方向外側に位置することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のブロワ。
- 前記第一開口領域の複数の前記第一の風穴は、外縁側から前記送風ファンの軸線に近づくにつれて徐々に、又は、段階的に軸方向位置がずれるように配置され、軸線に近い内周部分の前記第一の風穴は、軸線から離れた外周部分の前記第一の風穴より前記送風ファンに近づくように配置されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のブロワ。
- 前記第一の風穴の形状は、径方向に長く延びる長円であって、前記長円の内周側と外周側の軸方向位置が異なるように斜めに配置されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のブロワ。
- 前記第一開口領域の内周部分の平均開口率を、外周部分の平均開口率よりも大きくなるように設定したことを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載のブロワ。
- 前記第一開口領域の前記第一の風穴の総面積を、前記吸込口の面積よりも小さくしたことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のブロワ。
- 前記凹部をスムーズな傾斜を有するすり鉢状に形成したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のブロワ。
- 送風ファンを回転させる駆動源と、前記駆動源を収容するものであって上方にハンドル部が形成されたハウジングと、前記ハウジング内に設けられ、前記送風ファンを収容するボリュート室と、前記ボリュート室の壁面に設けられた吸込口と、前記吸込口の最外側に配置されて前記ハウジングの側面に取り付けられたファンガードを有する携帯型のブロワであって
前記ファンガードの前記吸込口と対向する領域を、吸入方向に向かって外側から内側に向けて窪むように形成し、前記窪む領域内において前記吸入方向に位置が異なる複数の第一の風穴を配置し、前記窪む領域の外側に第二の風穴を配置し、
前記第一の風穴が作業者によって密閉された場合であっても、第二の風穴を介して送風ファンへ外気が流れることを特徴とするブロワ。 - 前記ファンガードの前記窪む領域に形成された複数の前記第一の風穴を有する第一開口領域が設けられ、前記第一開口領域の外周側において複数の前記第二の風穴を有する第二開口領域を配置したことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のブロワ。
