Claims (5)
- リコータによって造形テーブル上に粉体材料を撒布して積層し、造形データに基づいて、撒布された粉体材料の上に結合剤をインクジェットヘッドから吐出・塗布し、前記粉体材料を結合させて三次元造形物を作る三次元造形装置において、
前記リコータを、前記造形テーブルの1つの辺の長さ分の粉体材料を撒布できる長さにして、前記1つの辺に対して直交する方向に移動可能に形成し、
前記インクジェットヘッドを、前記1つの辺に隣接する辺の長さ分の結合剤を吐出できるラインヘッドとして形成して、前記1つの辺に隣接する辺に対して直交する方向に移動可能に形成し、
前記リコータは、前記1つの辺に対する往復動作の両方において、前記造形テーブルの上に粉体材料を撒布可能に形成し、
前記インクジェットヘッドには、前記リコータの片道分の粉体材料撒布動作が終了した時点で、前記造形テーブルの上に撒布された粉体材料の上への結合剤の吐出・塗布を片道分行わせ、
以後は前記リコータによる粉体材料の撒布動作と、前記インクジェットヘッドによる結合剤の吐出・塗布動作を、片道分ずつ交互に行わせることを特徴とする三次元造形装置。 - 前記造形テーブルが長辺と短辺を備える矩形状である場合に、前記リコータは、前記長辺の長さ分の粉体材料を撒ける長さに形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の三次元造形装置。
- リコータによって造形テーブル上に粉体材料を撒布して積層し、撒布後の粉体材料の上に、造形データに基づいて、結合剤をインクジェットヘッドから吐出・塗布し、前記粉体材料を結合させて三次元造形物を作る三次元造形装置において、
前記リコータを、前記造形テーブルの1つの辺の長さ分の粉体材料を撒布できる長さにして、前記1つの辺に対して直交する方向に移動可能に形成し、
前記インクジェットヘッドを、前記造形テーブルの縦横方向に自在に移動して結合剤を吐出できるシリアルヘッドとして形成すると共に、前記リコータの移動軌跡の外にも移動可能に形成し、
前記リコータが前記1つの辺に対して直交する方向に移動して前記造形テーブルの上に粉体材料を撒布している動作中に、前記インクジェットヘッドに前記リコータを後追いさせて、前記リコータが撒布した粉体材料の上に結合剤を塗布し、
前記リコータは、前記1つの辺に対する往復動作の両方において、前記造形テーブルの上に粉体材料を撒布可能に形成し、
前記リコータの、前記造形テーブルに対する往復路の両端部分に、前記リコータと前記インクジェットヘッドとを上下方向に収容可能なすれ違い路を形成し、
前記リコータは、前記造形テーブルの上への片道分の粉体材料の撒布が終了した後に、前記すれ違い路で待避させ、
前記インクジェットヘッドは、結合剤の吐出・塗布動作が終了した後に、前記すれ違い路で待避させ、
前記リコータは、前記インクジェットヘッドが前記すれ違い路に入った事を確認後に前記造形テーブルの上への片道分の粉体材料の撒布を再開させることを特徴とする三次元造形装置。 - 前記インクジェットヘッドは、前記リコータによる1ライン分の粉体材料の撒布に対して、1ライン分の粉体材料の上に結合剤を吐出して塗布するように形成したことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の三次元造形装置。
- 前記インクジェットヘッドは、前記リコータによる複数ライン分の粉体材料の撒布が終了するまで待避させ、前記リコータによる複数ライン分の粉体材料の撒布が終了した後に、複数ライン分の粉体材料の上に結合剤を吐出・塗布するように形成したことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の三次元造形装置。
