Description
ピボットフレーム22の高さ中間位置から斜め上に補助フレーム29が延ばされ、この補助フレーム29の後端がシートフレーム23に接続されている。すなわち、シートフレーム23の下方に配置される補助フレーム29によって、シートフレーム23は補強される。

- ヘッドパイプ(11)から後方に延びるメインフレーム(21)と、前記メインフレーム(21)の後部に接続され後方に延びてシート(19)を支えるシートフレーム(23)と、前記メインフレーム(21)の下部に設けられ後端が前記シートフレーム(23)に接続され前記シートフレーム(23)を補強する補助フレーム(29)と、加速度を検出する加速度センサー(60)と、を備える自動二輪車(10)において、
前記加速度センサー(60)は、側面視で前記シートフレーム(23)の下方で且つ前記補助フレーム(29)の上方の位置にて、前記シートフレーム(23)又は補助フレーム(29)から延びるブラケット(61,62)に支持され、
前記加速度センサー(60)は、側面が車体カバー(50)で覆われ、
前記ブラケット(61,62)は、
車両前後方向に延びるアーム部(64)と、
前記アーム部(64)の先端から車幅方向へ延びるクロス部(65)と、
前記クロス部(65)の両端部に設けられ、筒形弾性材(67)が嵌められた支持部(66)と、を含み、
前記加速度センサー(60)は、前記筒形弾性材(67)を通るボルト(73)及び該ボルト(73)にねじ込まれるナット(76)によって前記ブラケット(61、62)に固定されることを特徴とする自動二輪車。 - 前記加速度センサー(60)は、傾斜させて配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の自動二輪車。
- 車両側面視で、前記加速度センサー(60)は、リヤクッション(28)の上端支持部(83)の近くに配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の自動二輪車。
- 前記加速度センサー(60)は、平面視で少なくとも一部が前記シートフレーム(23)又は補助フレーム(29)と重なる位置に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の自動二輪車。
- 前記加速度センサー(60)は、樹脂製のケース(71)に収容されるとともに、下面側にカプラー(60C)の接続口(60A)が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の自動二輪車。
- 後輪(26)が回転自在に取り付けられたスイングアーム(25)と、
前記スイングアーム(25)と前記メインフレーム(21)の前記後部との間に渡されたリヤクッション(28)と、を更に備え、
前記自動二輪車の平面視で、前記ブラケット(61、62)と前記リヤクッション(28)の上端支持部(83)が、車幅方向の一線上に位置していることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の自動二輪車。
