実施例1〜4および比較例1〜4
i)銅ワイヤーの熱処理の有無/温度、ii)電気メッキの遂行時に連続濾過の遂行の有無、および/またはiii)回転陰極ドラムの表面研磨に利用された研磨ブラシの粒度を下記の表1のように変更したことを除いては同じ条件下で電解銅箔をそれぞれ製造した。
実施例5〜8および比較例5〜8
実施例1〜4および比較例1〜4の電解銅箔を10g/Lの重クロム酸カリウム溶液に10秒の間それぞれ浸漬させることによって、電解銅箔上に保護層が形成された集電体を得た。引き続き、陰極活物質用に市販されている炭素100質量部にSBR 2質量部およびCMC 2質量部を混合した後、蒸溜水を溶剤として利用してスラリーを製造した。10cmの幅を有する前記集電体上に前記スラリーをドクターブレードを利用して50μmの厚さにそれぞれ塗布し、120℃で乾燥させた後、1ton/cm2の圧力でプレスすることによって合計8個の二次電池用陰極を製造した。
4.3Vの充電作動電圧および3.4Vの放電作動電圧で陽極のg当たり容量を測定し、高温寿命を評価するために50℃で0.2Cの電流密度で50回の充/放電実験を遂行し、放電容量維持率を下記の式1により算出した。

前記第1および第2面(111a、111b)のそれぞれは10〜100個のピークカウント粗さ(peak count roughness:Rpc)を有し、前記第1および第2面(111a、111b)のそれぞれのピークカウント粗さ(Rpc)は任意の3個の地点のピークカウント粗さ(Rpc)の平均値であり、前記地点のそれぞれのピークカウント粗さ(Rpc)はスチール−アイアンテストスケジュール(SEP 1940)規格に沿って得られた表面粗さプロファイルで4mmの単位サンプリング長さ当たり0.5μmの上位基準線(upper criteria line:C1)上にそびえている有効ピークの個数であり、前記有効ピークのうち隣り合う有効ピークの間には、−0.5μmの下位基準線(lower criteria line:C2)よりも深い少なくとも一つの谷(valley)が存在し、
前記第1および第2面(111a、111b)のそれぞれは2μm以下の10点平均粗さ(ten−point mean roughness:RzJIS)を有する、二次電池用電解銅箔。 - 前記第1および第2面(111a、111b)のピークカウント粗さ(Rpc)の差は60個以下である、請求項1に記載の二次電池用電解銅箔。

- 請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか一項に記載された電解銅箔(111);および
前記電解銅箔上の保護層(112)を含み、
前記保護層(112)はクロム酸塩、ベンゾトリアゾールおよびシラン化合物のうち少なくとも一つを含む、二次電池用集電体。 - 前記保護層(112)は前記電解銅箔(111)の前記第1および第2面(111a、111b)の上に形成された、請求項4に記載の二次電池用集電体。
- 請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか一項に記載された電解銅箔(111)を含む集電体(110);および
前記集電体上の活物質層(120)を含み、
前記活物質層(120)は、炭素;Si、Ge、Sn、Li、Zn、Mg、Cd、Ce、NiまたはFeの金属(Me);前記金属(Me)を含む合金;前記金属(Me)の酸化物(MeOx);および前記金属(Me)と炭素の複合体からなる群から選択される一つ以上の活物質を含む、二次電池用電極。 - 前記活物質層(120)はSiを含む、請求項6に記載の二次電池用電極。
- 前記集電体(110)はクロム酸塩、ベンゾトリアゾールおよびシラン化合物のうち少なくとも一つを含む保護層(112)をさらに含み、
前記保護層(112)は前記電解銅箔(111)と前記活物質層(120)の間に配置された、請求項6に記載の二次電池用電極。 - 陽極(cathode);
陰極(anode)(100);
前記陽極と陰極の間でリチウムイオンが移動できる環境を提供する電解質(electrolyte);および
前記陽極と前記陰極(100)を電気的に絶縁させる分離膜(separator)を含み、
前記陰極(100)は、
請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか一項に記載された電解銅箔(111)を含む集電体(110);および
前記集電体(110)上の活物質層(120)を含む、二次電池。 - 前記集電体(110)はクロム酸塩、ベンゾトリアゾールおよびシラン化合物のうち少なくとも一つを含む保護層(112)をさらに含み、
前記保護層(112)は前記電解銅箔(111)と前記活物質層(120)の間に配置された、請求項9に記載の二次電池。 - 電解液内に互いに離隔するように配置された陽極板および回転陰極ドラムを通電させることによって前記回転陰極ドラム上に銅を析出させる二次電池用電解銅箔(111)の製造方法において、
前記回転陰極ドラムとして、#800〜#1500の粒度を有する研磨ブラシで研磨されたものを用いる段階;
銅ワイヤーを熱処理する段階;
前記熱処理された銅ワイヤーを酸洗する段階;
前記酸洗された銅ワイヤーを前記電解液に投入する段階;
前記銅ワイヤーが前記電解液に投入された状態で前記陽極板および回転陰極ドラムを通電させることによって電気メッキを遂行する段階;および
前記電気メッキ中に前記電解液から固形不純物を除去するための連続濾過を遂行する段階を含む、二次電池用電解銅箔の製造方法。 - 前記電気メッキ中に前記電解液内の有機不純物および金属不純物の濃度が1g/L以下および10g/L以下にそれぞれ維持される、請求項11に記載の二次電池用電解銅箔の製造方法。
- 前記銅ワイヤーの熱処理段階は600〜800℃で遂行される、請求項11に記載の二次電池用電解銅箔の製造方法。
- 前記電解液は50〜100g/Lの銅イオン、50〜150g/Lの硫酸、50ppm以下の塩素イオン、および有機添加剤を含む、請求項11に記載の二次電池用電解銅箔の製造方法。
- 前記有機添加剤はヒドロキシエチルセルロース(HEC)、有機硫化物、有機窒化物、チオ尿素(thiourea)系化合物、またはこれらのうち2以上の混合物である、請求項14に記載の二次電池用電解銅箔の製造方法。
