Claims (14)
- ポータブル電子装置上で実行されるアプリケーションにおけるデータを更新する方法にであって、
アプリケーションを節電モードにおく選択を受信する処理であって、前記アプリケーションは、
前記ポータブル電子装置のユーザインタフェースをロック及びアンロックするロックスクリーンアプリケーションで可視状態であり、
前記ロックスクリーンアプリケーションのフレームワーク内で動作し、
前記ポータブル電子装置の外部ソースからのデータを表示する当該処理と、
前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態であるかを判定する処理であって、節電モード中の前記アプリケーションは、前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態から出る前に、前記外部ソースのデータから更新されない当該処理と、
スリープ状態のとき、前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態から出るようにする入力コマンドを受信する処理と、
受信した前記入力コマンド、及び前記アプリケーションの周期的な更新に関するスケジュールの少なくとも一部に基づき決定した時刻で、前記アプリケーションのデータに対する更新をスケジューリングする処理であって、前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態から出た後、前記決定した時刻が発生する当該処理と、
を含む方法。 - 前記スリープ状態は、前記ポータブル電子装置のディスプレイスクリーンがオフであることにより定義される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記アプリケーションのデータに対する更新をスケジューリングする処理は、
前記ポータブル電子装置と、前記ポータブル電子装置の外部ソースとの間にネットワーク接続を確立すること、及び
前記確立されたネットワーク接続を使用して、前記ポータブル電子装置の外部ソースからデータをダウンロードすること、を含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ポータブル電子装置で実行されるアプリケーション及び当該アプリケーションに関する更新時間のスケジュールのためのデータベースを生成する処理を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポータブル電子装置の外部ソースは、インターネットデータレポジトリを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記アプリケーションは、前記ポータブル電子装置の表示スクリーン上で見ることができるアプリケーションを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ロックスクリーンアプリケーションは、前記ポータブル電子装置の外部ソースからのデータ、及び1以上の時刻、日付及びバッテリ充電状態を示すアプリケーションを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記決定した時刻は、節電モードにある前記アプリケーションに基づき決定されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記決定した時刻は、前記周期的な更新に関するスケジュールにおける更新時間に基づき決定されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- アプリケーションを節電モードにおく選択を受信することであって、前記アプリケーションは、
ポータブル電子装置のユーザインタフェースをロック及びアンロックするロックスクリーンアプリケーションで可視状態であり、
前記ロックスクリーンアプリケーションのフレームワーク内で動作し、
前記ポータブル電子装置の外部ソースからのデータを表示し、
前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態であるかを判定することであって、節電モード中の前記アプリケーションは、前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態から出る前に、前記外部ソースのデータから更新されず、
スリープ状態のとき、前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態から出るようにする入力コマンドを受信すること、
受信した前記入力コマンド、及び前記アプリケーションの周期的な更新に関するスケジュールの少なくとも一部に基づき決定した時刻で、前記アプリケーションのデータに対する更新をスケジューリングすることであって、前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態から出た後、前記決定した時刻が発生すること、
を実行するようポータブル電子装置をプログラムするインストラクションを記憶したマシン読み取り可能なコンピュータ記憶媒体。 - アプリケーション及び当該アプリケーションに関する更新時間のスケジュールのためのデータベースを生成することを更に含む、請求項10に記載のコンピュータ記憶媒体。
- 現在時刻又はそれ以前で、次にスケジュールされた更新時間を有するアプリケーションに関してデータベースをクエリーすること、及び
前記現在時刻又はそれ以前で、次にスケジュールされた更新時間を有するアプリケーションのリストを生成する、
ことを更に含む請求項11に記載のコンピュータ記憶媒体。 - 前記アプリケーションは、ポータブル電子装置のスクリーン上で見ることができるアプリケーションを含む、請求項10に記載のコンピュータ記憶媒体。
- プロセッサと、
メモリと、
前記メモリに記憶され且つ前記プロセッサによって実行されるように構成されたプログラムモジュールとを含むポータブル電子装置であって、
前記プログラムモジュールは、
アプリケーションを節電モードにおく選択を受信する処理であって、前記アプリケーションは、
ポータブル電子装置のユーザインタフェースをロック及びアンロックするロックスクリーンアプリケーションで可視状態であり、
前記ロックスクリーンアプリケーションのフレームワーク内で動作し、
前記ポータブル電子装置の外部ソースからのデータを表示する当該処理と、
前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態であるかを判定する処理であって、節電モード中の前記アプリケーションは、前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態から出る前に、前記外部ソースのデータから更新されない当該処理と、
スリープ状態のとき、前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態から出るようにする入力コマンドを受信する処理と、
受信した前記入力コマンド、及び前記アプリケーションの周期的な更新に関するスケジュールの少なくとも一部に基づき決定した時刻で、前記アプリケーションのデータに対する更新をスケジューリングする処理であって、前記ポータブル電子装置がスリープ状態から出た後、前記決定した時刻が発生する当該処理と、
を実行する命令を含む、電子ポータブル装置。
