Claims (5)
- 第1及び第2の配線層とグランドパターンを有する第3の配線層とを含む複数の配線層を有する基板と、
前記基板の前記第1の配線層に搭載されたICチップと、
前記ICチップから給電され、前記基板と垂直な方向に放射する複数のパッチアンテナ導体を含む第1のアンテナ素子と、
前記ICチップから給電され、前記基板と水平な第1の水平方向に放射する第2のアンテナ素子と、を備え、
前記第1のアンテナ素子の少なくとも一部は、前記ICチップと重なるよう、前記第2の配線層に形成され、
前記第2のアンテナ素子は、前記グランドパターンを切り欠いた複数のグランドクリアランス領域内にそれぞれ設けられ、前記グランドパターンに接続された導体パターンを含む複数のスロットアンテナによって構成され、
前記グランドパターンは、前記グランドクリアランス領域を少なくとも三方から囲む第1のグランドパターンと、スリットを介して前記第1のグランドパターンを少なくとも三方から囲む第2のグランドパターンとを含むことを特徴とするアンテナ装置。 - 前記複数のパッチアンテナ導体は、一方向に配列されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアンテナ装置。
- 前記複数のスロットアンテナは、前記一方向に配列されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のアンテナ装置。
- 前記一方向は、前記基板と水平であって前記第1の水平方向と略直交する第2の水平方向であることを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載のアンテナ装置。
- 前記ICチップから給電され、前記第2の水平方向に放射する第3のアンテナ素子をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のアンテナ装置。
