Claims (10)
- 燃料を燃焼することにより動力を出力するエンジンと、前記エンジンの排気を浄化する浄化装置とを備え、運転操作を人が行うことなく自動制御する自動運転で走行することが可能であり、前記浄化装置の浄化能を低下させる堆積物を前記浄化装置から除去する除去制御を実行することができる車両の制御装置において、
前記除去制御は、前記エンジンの出力を増大させて前記浄化装置の温度を上昇させる昇温制御を含み、
前記車両を制御するコントローラを備え、
前記コントローラは、
車内の搭乗者の有無を判断し、
前記搭乗者が存在する有人自動運転時における前記昇温制御による前記エンジンの出力の増大量を、前記搭乗者が存在しない無人自動運転時における前記昇温制御による前記エンジンの出力の増大量よりも小さく設定する
ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
- 請求項1に記載の車両の制御装置において、
前記コントローラは、
前記車両の周辺環境についての条件である第1条件と、運転状態についての条件である第2条件との少なくともいずれか一方を含む所定条件を有し、
前記自動運転時に前記所定条件を満たすか否かを判断し、
前記所定条件を満たさない場合には、前記昇温制御を禁止する
ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
- 請求項2に記載の車両の制御装置において、
前記第1条件は、前記車両の周辺に人間および動物がいないことと、前記車両が住宅街にないことと、前記車両が閉鎖された空間内にないこととの少なくともいずれか一つの条件を含む
ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
- 請求項2または3に記載の車両の制御装置において、
前記車両は、前記エンジンから出力された動力の少なくとも一部を電力に変換するジェネレータと、前記ジェネレータにより発電された電力を充電する蓄電装置とを更に備えている
ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
- 請求項4に記載の車両の制御装置において、
前記コントローラは、
前記エンジンの出力を、前記車両に要求される動力と前記蓄電装置を充電するための蓄電量とに基づいて設定し、
前記有人自動運転時に前記昇温制御を実行する際の前記蓄電量を、前記無人自動運転時に前記昇温制御を実行する際の前記蓄電量よりも小さく設定する
ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
- 請求項4または5に記載の車両の制御装置において、
前記第2条件は、前記昇温制御を実行したことにより前記ジェネレータにより発電される電力を前記蓄電装置に充電できることと、前記ジェネレータと前記蓄電装置との温度が予め定められた所定温度以下であることとの少なくともいずれか一つの条件を含む
ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
- 請求項1ないし6のいずれか一項に記載の車両の制御装置において、
前記堆積物は、粒子状物質であり、
前記浄化装置は、前記粒子状物質を捕集するフィルターであり、
前記除去制御は、前記フィルターに堆積した前記粒子状物質を燃焼させて除去するPM除去制御を含む
ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
- 請求項7に記載の車両の制御装置において、
前記PM除去制御は、前記エンジンの回転数を増大させて前記浄化装置に供給される酸素量を増大させる吸気制御を含み、
前記コントローラは、
前記有人自動運転時における前記吸気制御による前記エンジン回転数の増加量を、前記無人自動運転時における前記吸気制御による前記エンジン回転数の増加量よりも小さく設定する
ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
- 請求項1ないし6のいずれか一項に記載の車両の制御装置において、
前記排気は、窒素酸化物と、硫黄酸化物とを含有し、
前記浄化装置は、前記窒素酸化物を還元する貴金属を備えた触媒コンバータであり、
前記堆積物は、前記硫黄酸化物であり、
前記除去制御は、前記触媒コンバータに吸着した前記硫黄酸化物を脱離させて除去する触媒再生制御を含む
ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
- 請求項1ないし9のいずれか一項に記載の車両の制御装置において、
前記コントローラは、
前記堆積物の量を求め、
前記堆積物の量が予め定められた閾値を超えることにより、前記除去制御を実行し、
前記閾値の値を、前記無人自動運転走行時は、前記有人自動運転走行時と比較して小さく設定する
ことを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
