Claims (4)
- 流体圧機器へ作動流体を供給するポンプ装置であって、
第1吐出通路を通じて前記流体圧機器へ作動流体を供給するメインポンプと、
前記第1吐出通路に合流する第2吐出通路を通じて前記流体圧機器へ作動流体を供給するサブポンプと、
前記サブポンプから吐出された作動流体を吸込側へと還流させるためのリターン通路と、
前記サブポンプから吐出された作動流体を前記リターン通路を通じて吸込側へ環流するか否かを切り換える切換弁と、を備え、
前記メインポンプ及び前記サブポンプのそれぞれは、
共通の駆動軸に連結されるロータと、
前記ロータに対して径方向に往復動自在に設けられる複数のベーンと、
前記ロータの回転に伴って前記ベーンの先端が摺接する内周面を有するカムリングと、
前記ロータと前記カムリングと一対の隣り合う前記ベーンとによって区画されるポンプ室と、
前記ポンプ室から吐出される作動流体が導かれる吐出ポートと、
前記ロータの回転方向とは逆方向に向かって前記吐出ポートの開口縁部から形成される溝状の吐出側ノッチと、を有し、
前記切換弁は、前記駆動軸の回転数に応じて切換作動し、
前記サブポンプの前記吐出側ノッチのうち少なくとも一つは、前記メインポンプの前記吐出側ノッチと比較して通過する作動流体に与える抵抗が大きくなるように形成されることを特徴とするポンプ装置。 - 前記メインポンプ及び前記サブポンプのそれぞれは、前記ポンプ室に作動流体を導く吸込ポートをさらに有し、
前記ロータの回転に伴って前記ポンプ室と前記吸込ポートとの連通が遮断された際における当該ポンプ室を区画する一対の前記ベーンのうち回転方向前方側の前記ベーンの位置である基準位置から所定角度離れた位置における前記サブポンプの前記吐出側ノッチの開口面積は、前記基準位置から前記所定角度離れた位置における前記メインポンプの前記吐出側ノッチの開口面積と比較して、小さく形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポンプ装置。 - 前記メインポンプ及び前記サブポンプのそれぞれは、ポンプ室に作動流体を導く吸込ポートの開口縁部から前記ロータの回転方向とは逆方向に向かって形成される溝状の吸込側ノッチをさらに有し、
前記サブポンプの前記吸込側ノッチのうち少なくとも一つは、前記メインポンプの前記吸込側ノッチと比較して通過する作動流体に与える抵抗が大きくなるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のポンプ装置。 - 前記切換弁は、前記駆動軸の回転数が予め定められたポンプ回転数以上である場合に、前記リターン通路を通じて作動流体を吸込側へ環流させるように切換作動することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一つに記載のポンプ装置。
