Description
ガラス転移温度147℃のポリカーボネート樹脂(LG化学製)と、ガラス転移温度129℃のPMMA樹脂(スチレン15乃至70%、メチルメタクリレート25乃至80%及び無水マレイン酸5乃至50%の三元共重合PMMA樹脂)をそれぞれ準備した。また、支持層を形成する押出機は、バレル直径150mm、スクリューのL/D=35、シリンダー温度270℃に設定し、表面層を形成する押出機は、バレル直径45mm、スクリューのL/D=35、シリンダー温度245℃に設定した。次いで、支持層を形成する押出機には前記準備したポリカーボネート樹脂を投入し、表面層を形成する押出機にはPMMA樹脂を投入した後、2種類の樹脂を同時に溶融押出した。
ガラス転移温度120℃の三元共重合PMMA樹脂とガラス転移温度130℃の三元共重合PMMA樹脂を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様にして実施例2及び3によるシートを製造した。
支持層を形成する押出機として、第1押出機(バレル直径150mm、スクリューのL/D=35、シリンダー温度270℃)、第2押出機(バレル直径45mm、スクリューのL/D=35、シリンダー温度245℃)、及び第3押出機(バレル直径45mm、スクリューのL/D=35、シリンダー温度245℃)を備え、PC樹脂、三元共重合PMMA樹脂、PC樹脂を順次投入して支持層を形成した以外は、実施例1と同様にして共押出を行った。この際、第1押出機、第2押出機、第3押出機及びサブ押出機の吐出量比が70:15:15の重量比となるように設定することで、表面層は依然として0.15mmであるものの、第1支持層(PC、底層)、第2支持層(PMMA、中間層)、第3支持層(PC、境界層)の厚さはそれぞれ0.1mm、0.15mm、0.6mmとなるように、透明プラスチックシート(厚さ1mm)を製造した。
それぞれガラス転移温度115℃の三元共重合PMMA樹脂とガラス転移温度140℃の三元共重合PMMA樹脂を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、比較例1及び2によるシートを製造した。
表面層を形成する樹脂として、ガラス転移温度が110℃である一般のPMMA(MMAの重合体)を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、透明プラスチックシートを製造した。
表面層の厚さが、シートの全厚の3%に相当する0.03mm、及び25%に相当する0.25mmとなるようにシートを製造した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、比較例4及び5によるシートを製造した。
1)ヘイズ及び透過率の測定:ASTM D1003規格に準拠してヘイズ及び透過率をそれぞれ測定した。
Claims (6)
- ポリカーボネート系樹脂層を含む支持層と、前記支持層の上部に表面層として形成される、ガラス転移温度120乃至135℃のポリメチルメタクリレート系樹脂層とを含んでなり、
前記ポリメチルメタクリレート系樹脂層の厚さがシートの全厚の5乃至20%であり、
シート全体の透過率がASTM D1003に基づいて89乃至94%であり、
前記ポリメチルメタクリレート系樹脂層は、スチレン15乃至70重量%、メチルメタクリレート25乃至80重量%及び無水マレイン酸5乃至50重量%を重合して得られたものであり、
前記透明プラスチックシートは、85℃の温度及び85%の相対湿度で72時間放置する条件下での反りの程度が0.0乃至0.5mmである、透明プラスチックシート。 - 前記支持層が、ポリカーボネート系樹脂層からなる単層構造である、請求項1に記載の透明プラスチックシート。
- 前記支持層が、2つのポリカーボネート系樹脂層、及び前記2つのポリカーボネート系樹脂層の間に介在するガラス転移温度120乃至135℃のポリメチルメタクリレート系樹脂層を含む多層構造であり、
前記2つのポリカーボネート系樹脂層の間に位置するポリメチルメタクリレート系樹脂層の厚さが、シートの全厚の5乃至20%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の透明プラスチックシート。 - 前記透明プラスチックシートは、水分吸収率が、35℃の温度及び97%の相対湿度の条件下で0.15乃至0.2%であり、寸法変化率が、65℃の温度及び90%の相対湿度の条件下で0.2乃至0.25%であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の透明プラスチックシート。
- 前記透明プラスチックシートは、表面層としてのポリメチルメタクリレート系樹脂層の表面硬度が、ASTM D3363に基づく鉛筆硬度でH乃至2Hであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の透明プラスチックシート。
- 前記透明プラスチックシートは、ASTM D790に基づく曲げ弾性率が1.6乃至2.3GPaであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の透明プラスチックシート。
