Claims (5)
- 駆動力の伝達経路に配置された第1部材と第2部材の間の連結状態と解放状態とを切り替えることにより前記駆動力の伝達を制御する動力伝達装置において、
強磁性を有すると共に、前記第2部材に進退可能且つ一体回転可能に配置され、前進により第1部材、第2部材間を連結する一方、後退により第1部材、第2部材間を解放状態とする可動体と、
可動体を含んで当該可動体の前進側または後退側にそれぞれ形成される第1の磁路および第2の磁路と、
前記第1の磁路と前記第2の磁路が共に通過する位置に1箇所配置され、前記可動体が前記第1部材側にあるときに前記第1の磁路に沿って生成する磁束により当該可動体を第1部材側に吸引して保持し、前記可動体が反第1部材側にあるときに前記第2の磁路に沿って生成する磁束により当該可動体を反第1部材側に吸引して保持する永久磁石と、
前記第1の磁路及び前記第2の磁路の何れか一方の磁路に囲まれる位置に配置される電磁石と、
電磁石を正方向に励磁することによって、前記一方の磁路の吸引力を増大して、前記第1の磁路及び前記第2の磁路の他方の磁路に吸引保持されている前記可動体を引き寄せ、電磁石を逆方向に励磁することによって、前記一方の磁路に吸引保持されている可動体の保持力を低減して、前記他方の磁路の磁束による吸引力で可動体を離間させる駆動部と、
を具備し、
前記可動体は、前記第1の磁路に沿って生成する磁束により前記第1部材側に吸引される第1被吸着部と、前記第2の磁路に沿って生成する磁束により反第1部材側に吸引される第2被吸着部とを有し、
前記第1被吸着部及び前記第2被吸着部において、前記他方の磁路側の被吸着部における磁束が通過する面積は、前記一方の磁路側の被吸着部における磁束が通過する面積より大きいことを特徴とする動力伝達装置。 - 電磁石を正方向に励磁した際に、前記他方の磁路の磁束により吸引保持されている前記可動体に対する保持力を同時に低減させ、電磁石を逆方向に励磁した際に、前記他方の磁路の磁束による吸引力を同時に増大させるように構成している請求項1に記載の動力伝達装置。
- 電磁石による磁束を、前記一方の磁路に沿って発生させるようにしている請求項1又は2に記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記一方の磁路に対し、前記他方の磁路の磁路の磁路長を短くしている請求項3に記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記電磁石が磁束を弱めた際に可動体の離隔を促す位置に機械バネを設けている請求項1〜4の何れかに記載の動力伝達装置。
