Claims (13)
- 体内ルーメンの内部に沿って進行するためのものであり、柔軟性を有し、導電性の壁を規定し、少なくとも1つの遠位アパーチャと流体連通されたルーメンをさらに規定する、細長い部材と、
組織を穿刺するために、前記細長い部材の遠位端において、前記細長い部材の導電性の壁に電気的に連結されたエネルギ送達デバイスと、
前記ルーメンの遠位部内において、医療デバイスの遠位端から近位に延びる支持スパインと、を備え、
前記支持スパインの近位端は、前記ルーメンの前記遠位部内に配置されている、医療デバイス。 - 前記細長い部材は、概して管状の形状をなし、側壁の遠位部は、柔軟性を増加させるために、そこに少なくとも一つの切込みを有する、請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記支持スパインの前記近位端は、前記切込みの近位端の近位にあり、前記支持スパインは前記細長い部材の非切込み部と重なる、請求項2に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記支持スパインの長さは約10cmから約11cmであり、前記細長い部材の長さは約60cmから約120cmである、請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記支持スパインは、前記医療デバイスを湾曲形状にバイアスするための湾曲部を有する、請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記支持スパインは、単一のワイヤを備え、約0.1mmから約0.3mmの間の外径を有する、請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記細長い部材の遠位端に、エネルギ送達デバイスをさらに備え、前記エネルギ送達デバイスは、エネルギ源に電気的に結合することが可能である、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記支持スパインは、前記エネルギ送達デバイスから近位に延びる、請求項7に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記支持スパインは、前記エネルギ送達デバイスの電極の中央部に連結されている、請求項8に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記電極の近位であるスペーサをさらに備え、前記支持スパインが前記スペーサの孔を通って近位に延びている、請求項9に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記支持スパインは、導電性であり、かつ、前記導電性の壁に接触可能な柔軟性を有し、電気エネルギが前記導電性の壁から前記エネルギ送達デバイスへ移動する経路として機能する、請求項8に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記電極は、約0.5mmから約1.0mmまでの範囲の外径を有し、血行動態の不安定化を最小にしながら、心臓の中隔の組織に穿刺を形成するための大きさである、請求項9に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記支持スパインの前記近位端は、前記ルーメン内で拘束されず、それにより前記支持スパインは、湾曲している前記細長い部材の引張側を支持するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の医療デバイス。
