Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明は針電極を用いて増強された損傷を形成し増強されたマッピングアセンブリを用いて複数の箇所の電気的な活性を同時にマッピングできるカテーテルを指向している。そのカテーテル10は、長手方向に貫通する少なくともひとつの内腔を備えた長寸のカテーテル本体12を有する。針制御ハンドル17はカテーテル本体の近位の端部に設けられている。針電極アセンブリ46はカテーテル本体および針制御ハンドルを通って延在しかつ針制御ハンドルに取り付けられた近位の端部およびカテーテル本体の遠位の端部内に配置された遠位の端部を有する。マッピングアセンブリ15はカテーテル本体の遠位の端部に取り付けられかつ少なくとも2個の柔軟なスパイン118を有する。各スパインはカテーテル本体の遠位の端部に取り付けられた近位の端部と遠位の自由端部とを有する。各スパインは少なくともひとつの電極125を保持している。針電極アセンブリの遠位の端部は針制御ハンドルの操作に基づいてマッピングアセンブリの近位の端部を越えて伸張できる。

Claims (17)
- 長手方向に貫通する少なくともひとつの内腔を備えた長寸のカテーテル本体と、
上記カテーテル本体の近位の端部に配置された針制御ハンドルと、
上記カテーテル本体および上記針制御ハンドルを通って延在し、上記針制御ハンドルに取り付けられた近位の端部と上記カテーテル本体の遠位の端部内に配置された遠位の端部とを備えた針電極アセンブリと、
近位の端部および遠位の端部を備え、上記カテーテル本体の上記遠位の端部に取り付けられていて、少なくとも2個の柔軟なスパインを有し、上記スパインの各々が上記カテーテル本体の上記遠位の端部に取り付けられた近位の端部と遠位の自由端部とを有すると共に少なくともひとつの電極を保持している、マッピングアセンブリと、

上記針電極アセンブリの上記遠位の端部が上記針制御ハンドルの操縦に基づいて上記マッピングアセンブリの上記近位の端部を越えて伸張される、注入カテーテル。 - 各スパインが形状記憶機能を備えた支持アームが内部に配置された非導電性のカバーからなる、請求項1記載の注入カテーテル。
- 各支持アームがニチノールからなる、請求項2記載の注入カテーテル。
- マッピングアセンブリが、各スパインがカテーテル本体から放射状に外向きに延出している拡張された位置と、各スパインが上記カテーテル本体の長手方向の軸にほぼ沿って配置されている潰れた位置との間を移動可能である、請求項1記載の注入カテーテル。
- マッピングアセンブリが拡張された位置にあるとき、各スパインがカテーテル本体から放射状に外向きに延出しかつ円弧状の形状を形成する、請求項4記載の注入カテーテル。
- マッピングアセンブリが少なくとも5個のスパインを有する、請求項1記載の注入カテーテル。
- 針電極アセンブリに電気的に接続された第1の端部とアブレーションエネルギーの供給源に電気的に接続された第2の端部とを備えた針電極リード線をさらに有する、請求項1記載の注入カテーテル。
- 針電極アセンブリが、
近位の端部および遠位の端部を備え、導電性の材料からなる遠位のチューブと、
