Description
図5〜図8は、本発明によるパワーインダクタの製造方法を順次示す工程図であり、先ず、図5のように、コア絶縁層110の一面または両面にコイルパターン120を形成するステップを行う。これは、サブトラクティブ(Subtractive)工法、アディティブ(Additive)工法、セミ−アディティブ(Semi−Additive)工法および修正されたセミ−アディティブ(Modified semi−additive)工法のうちいずれか一つの工法を通じて行われてもよい。したがって、図面上には表示されていないが、メッキ工法に応じて電解メッキの前処理のためのシード層が前記コイルパターン120の下部に存在してもよい。

Claims (13)
- コア絶縁層の一面または両面に形成されたコイルパターンと、
前記コイルパターンの最内側パターンと最外側パターンのうち少なくともいずれか一つと接合する絶縁パターンと、
前記コイルパターンの表面にメッキされた金属層、および
前記金属層を含む前記コイルパターンと前記絶縁パターンの一部とを覆う絶縁体を含む、
パワーインダクタ。 - 前記最内側パターンと接合する前記絶縁パターンは前記最内側パターンの内側表面に形成され、前記最外側パターンと接合する前記絶縁パターンは前記最外側パターンの外側表面に形成される、請求項1に記載のパワーインダクタ。
- 前記最内側パターンの内側表面と接合する前記絶縁パターンは、前記最内側パターンの上部表面まで延長形成される、請求項2に記載のパワーインダクタ。
- 前記最外側パターンの外側表面と接合する前記絶縁パターンは、前記最外側パターンの上部表面まで延長形成される、請求項2に記載のパワーインダクタ。
- 前記金属層は、前記コイルパターンを引込線にしたメッキ工程によって異方性メッキされる、請求項1に記載のパワーインダクタ。
- コア絶縁層の一面または両面に形成されたコイルパターンと、
前記コイルパターンの最内側パターンと最外側パターンのうち少なくともいずれか一つと接合する第1絶縁パターンと、
前記コイルパターンの表面にメッキされた第1金属層と、
前記最内側パターンと最外側パターンの表面にメッキされた第1金属層のうち少なくともいずれか一つと接合する第2絶縁パターンと、
前記第1金属層の表面にメッキされた第2金属層、および
前記第1金属層および前記2金属層を含む前記コイルパターンと前記第2絶縁パターンの一部とを覆う絶縁体を含む、
パワーインダクタ。 - 前記最内側パターンと接合する前記第1絶縁パターンは、前記最内側パターンの内側表面に形成され、前記最内側パターンの表面にメッキされた第1金属層と接合する前記第2絶縁パターンは、前記最内側パターンの表面にメッキされた第1金属層の内側表面に形成される、請求項6に記載のパワーインダクタ。
- 前記最外側パターンと接合する前記第1絶縁パターンは、前記最外側パターンの外側表面に形成され、前記最外側パターンの表面にメッキされた第1金属層と接合する前記第2絶縁パターンは、前記最外側パターンの表面にメッキされた第1金属層の外側表面に形成される、請求項6に記載のパワーインダクタ。
- コア絶縁層の一面または両面にコイルパターンを形成するステップと、
前記コイルパターンの最内側パターンと最外側パターンのうち少なくともいずれか一つと接合する絶縁パターンを形成するステップと、
前記コイルパターンの表面に金属層をメッキするステップ、および
前記金属層を含む前記コイルパターンを覆う絶縁体を形成するステップを含む、
パワーインダクタ製造方法。 - 前記最内側パターンと接合する前記絶縁パターンの形成時に前記最内側パターンの内側表面に前記絶縁パターンを形成し、前記最外側パターンと接合する前記絶縁パターンの形成時に前記最外側パターンの外側表面に前記絶縁パターンを形成する、請求項9に記載のパワーインダクタ製造方法。
- 前記最内側パターンの内側表面と接合する前記絶縁パターンを前記最内側パターンの上面一部まで延びるように形成する、請求項10に記載のパワーインダクタ製造方法。
- 前記最外側パターンの外側表面と接合する前記絶縁パターンを前記最外側パターンの上面一部まで延びるように形成する、請求項10に記載のパワーインダクタ製造方法。
- 前記金属層をメッキするステップは、前記コイルパターンを引込線にしたメッキ工程で行われる、請求項9に記載のパワーインダクタ製造方法。
