Claims (4)
- 溶融金属を内部から加熱する浸漬ヒーターを保護する有底筒状のヒーターチューブであって、
上部に開口を有する筒状の胴部を備え、
前記胴部は、前記開口側の上側胴部と底側の下側胴部とからなり、
前記上側胴部は、炭化珪素を主成分とした材料により形成され、溶融金属中に浸漬した際に液面と接触するようにその高さが設定されており、
前記下側胴部は、カーボンを主成分とした材料により形成され、外周面に軸方向に延びる凹状の溝部が周方向に沿って間隔をあけて複数設けられているヒーターチューブ。 - 前記下側胴部は、前記溝部が設けられることで、前記溝部がない場合と比べて単位長さあたりの表面積が1.5倍〜2.5倍である請求項1に記載のヒーターチューブ。
- 前記溝部の軸方向と直交する方向の断面視形状が台形状である請求項1又は2に記載のヒーターチューブ。
- 前記上側胴部の高さは前記胴部の高さに対する比率で30%〜60%である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のヒーターチューブ。
