Claims (4)
- 主軸と、前記主軸のジャーナル部分を支持する滑り軸受部材と、主軸と滑り軸受部材とを収容するハウジングとを有し、前記滑り軸受部材が潤滑油に浸漬される主軸装置であって、
前記ハウジングは、前記滑り軸受部材から延出して前記ハウジングの外部に突出する前記主軸の延出部を外囲し、前記滑り軸受部材から離反する側において前記主軸の外周との間に環状空隙を画定する開口を備えた隔壁を有する前端部材を含み、
前記前端部材は、前記環状空隙より前記離反する側にのみ前記主軸の外周との間に前記環状空隙に連通する環状通路を画定し、且つ前記環状通路からのみ前記環状空隙に加圧空気を噴出する空気通路を含み、
更に、前記滑り軸受部材と前記隔壁との間を前記ハウジングの外部に開放する排気通路とを有する主軸装置。 - 前記空気通路より更に前記滑り軸受部材から離反する側にエアシールが構成されている請求項1に記載の主軸装置。
- 前記滑り軸受部材と該滑り軸受部材に対向する前記隔壁の側との間を径方向外方に拡張された拡張室が画定されている請求項1又は2に記載の主軸装置。
- 前記滑り軸受部材の前記隔壁から離反する端部側に、前記ハウジングの内周と前記主軸の外周との間の間隙を狭める油留めリングが、前記ハウジングの内周および前記主軸の外周の何れか一方に他方に対して非接触状態で取り付けられており、前記油留めリングより前記滑り軸受部材の側の潤滑油を供給する潤滑油供給通路を有する請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の主軸装置。
